Now that we have a date and time for our next victory, we must ensure that we reconstitute the same winning team that trounced the Brazen Strumpets last June. My ticket's bought, so who else is on board to once again Row Like You Believe?
Trounced? It took you pikers three tries to win, and you wrote the wiki! :)
And yet I walked away with a prize and you didn't. It's not quite a zero-sum game, but you got zero and I got sum free Paizo goodies!
We're certainly going to have our work cut out for us this year--I've heard that Boomer's Tumors are expanding.

I am with you Union Brother! Bought my 3-day pass and my banquet ticket!
And....I will have shirts made for us to wear! (Request a collection of union dues to purchase said shirts though)
Row Like You Believe!!!
How much are the dues--and do you have the "fat guy" size?

How much did I save on the copy I bought 18 months ago? ;D
(I'm just teasing--still as excited about this thing as I was on the first day I heard about it!)

Played in my first Society game tonight using Pathfinder rules! It rocked, well except when in combat and I never rolled above an 8... but that was just bad dice luck.
Playing a Chelaxian Cleric of Abadar with the Earth and Travel domains. Come to a place and get hit with Entangle. I manage to break the Entangle and pop my Agile Feet Domain power and fly across the terrain with no problem at all. It was awesome.
The Acid Dart would have been useful had I rolled above an 8...
Healing Burst was a big hit.
All in all the new version was a BLAST to play. Makes me realize that 3.5 was fun, but Pathfinder is AWESOME!
I was sorry to hear about your driving thing falling through, but look on the bright side--
You get to play with us again tomorrow night!!!!
Did I mention that Chelaxian Clerics rock? Too bad you only worship Abadar, not Asmodeus. Oh, well. You will probably come around sooner or later. If I can make a Gnome Druid see the light of Asmodeus in the span of five minutes, I think I can bring your character into the fold eventually...
And, of course, Congratulations to Paizo on making THE MOST IMPORTANT advancement to gaming that I have seen in my humble 28 years of playing. You guys really are the best.

Anyone else worried about the binding? I can already see cracks in the spinal cover and deformation in the actual spine and I haven't even really had a chance to read it since my evenings have been work filled...
Actually I was just remarking how strong the binding seems. Actual cracks? As in the cover is splitting open? If so, you might see if you can return it for a better quality one.
Ayup, my binding seems as strong as a Cleric of Gorum. Perhaps you just got a bad one.

I need to read it cover-to-cover, but I can't focus myself enough! :-)
You noticed that new book smell too!
Got mine, Columbia Missouri 8/11/09 a day that will go down in history!
Are you still in Columbia?

Good evening, Mr. Frost.
I would like to say kudos to you on the magnificent document that is Pathfinder Society 2.0. I am eagerly anticipating running and playing in Year One. Thank you for all of your hard work.
If you have a moment, I was hoping you could answer a couple of questions for me.
First, how will the GMs report which character will be receiving the experience point, money, and prestige point from the session? Will the reporting software change on Thursday, or are we just to add our character in on the bottom?
Second, after running a session or two, which session sheets will we be able to purchase special items from? Will we only have the last three that we played available, or will we be able to choose items from the last three that we played or ran?
Thank you in advance for your answers, and I hope you have a good time at GenCon (wish I could be there to help run a few games!)

I am considering the idea of putting this video up before GenCon '09. Pretty soon everyone will know the subject of this video because they will be holding it in their hands. Jason Bulmahn did a smack-good job presenting this mind-blowing Pathfidner Roleplaying Manual. I don't see why anyone should miss out on this.
You have video? Does it include the trivia contest? Cause that was the best part of the whole convention!
I, too, would be interested in revisiting the trivia contest. I laughed so hard that my abs were sore the next day.
Especially considering the high price of freedom if THOSE really are the Andoran contact.

Sorry for the threadjack, btw. It is good to know that you will soon start playing in the Society. I have found from my personal experiences that it is not so terrible to be a little behind in power while playing the games. For the first eleven months of year zero, I only ran games. Meanwhile, my first level cleric remained, well, first level. I have only recently had the opportunity to play him, and I am 3-4 levels behind everyone else in the group. However, I keep out of melee, I use diplomacy and intimidation a lot, and I wear very heavy armor--these factors have helped me to stay alive in tier 3 games. It seems that with the gm rewards system, someone who runs 90% of the time will still be able to have a good time when he gets to play. I think it is a fair system--you won't be the most awesome character in the group, but you will still be able to hang with the big boys.
I hope you have fun at GenCon--wish I could be there. Maybe we'll get to meet at Paizocon next year, and it will turn out that we look nothing alike.

BIG mistake--
Killing wife's character = sleeping on couch.
EDIT: Adding the word smurf so nobody thinks Kyle is answering his own post.
