recently i celibrated my 24th birthday as a gift i recieved a replica of weird tales Jul/Aug 1923 issue the opening story a 2 part story called sunfire by Gertrude Barrows Bennett aka Francis Stevens shes a cited influence of both Lovecraft and Merritt its a story of five explorers who come upon a uncharted island where things aurnt quite as they seem its a great lost world story
iv read and heard alot about Mr. Kline and recently got my first taste of his work well recently i got a collectors replica of weird tales #1 1923 for my collection in it is the first of many seriels Mr Kline contributed to WT called the thing of 1,000 shapes a rather scary ghost story of a shapechangeing ghost but his writing is superb and some parts of the story gave me jumps lol and its a two parter so i have to get the next replica im thinking of buying one of his planet stories volumes im just not sure wich one
i just got into planet stories since i got Northwest of earth for christmas i just ordered the ginger star as well but i have a small request ever since i saw the swardsman of mars and the outlaws of mars by Otis Adelbert Kline i was hopeing at some point you could publish his novel Tam Son of the Tiger. Any chance of this happening many thanks |
