FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Love it

I get these with my other subscriptions every month and these are the first thing I look at. One so-so book in about 6 so far. Very action packed pulp fiction so far. Loving it and highly recommending it. As another reader said, these are very fast reads. That's not so bad. You can just read them again in the time you would read a less exciting book. :)

I found Moore's stories to be very good from an atmosphere perspective, and I think the characters take a back seat to the atmosphere in some of the stories.

It was a good read, but I didn't connect to the main character very much. I can usually connect with characters in other stories in the genre.

The cover art is very cool!

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Fun to Read!

Gygax is not the best writer in the world, but this is a fun book to read. I read it in a single go!

Certainly, it's better than any Drizzt novel I've read, and at times it channels some Howard.

Give it a go.

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Very Cool

This is a really nice book. For an art book, it's at what I consider a standard price. 4 stars because it was missing some of the more recent art from dragon I would have expected, and only made mention of many of the interior illustrations (would it have been hard to show more than one of the comics from over the years?).
Anyway, this is a cool product, and will sit next to my tsr art books. ;)
Now... where's my art of Dungeon?

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Decent paint and much better price (than wotc)

Just like the title says. Picked one up from paizo and a couple at gencon. They're not as good as one can do with a paintbrush, but they're much better than unpainted leads and cheaper (and much easier) to acquire in bulk than are wotc's offerings.

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Great miniatures, fun kick-down-the-door encounter

Seriously, if you need an eight foot tall lich, you can't go wrong. The encounter stuff is also quite fun, though I purchased mainly for the metals.
