Got a link to the podcast?

Are all Legionnaires able to be picked? (alive or dead?)
Email sent.

Rad!

I'm up for it.
Love the idea.

These books actually use the 3.5 XP chart.
If you are using the Pathfinder rules the fast XP track is closest to the 3.5 version.
I'm using the fast track now, started with the 3.5 track and changed over when the Pathfinder rules came out.

Ok, i just saw this thread.
I'm interested.
If you get an opening, my email is in my profile. :]

Cerealsly, let them play 3.5 characters and run the Pathfinder rules. If your are going to modify classes to Pathfinder's HD and BAB and such you might as well go whole hog with Pathfinder. (less work on your part)
Sorry you are going through this... it's a tough spot to be in.

- Print out the page to the scale desired.
- Take a screen shot of the map and resize as desired in program of your choice.

Please make an announcement post when the time comes.
Looking forward to it.

Done.

You could also give her items that are actually abilites instead. Like a belt of +2 Str, she gets a vision and her god thanks her and gives her a belt. When she wakes up she has not belt but has the +2 Str.
I understand the role playing aspect but there comes a time you need better stuff to be effective, it's how the game is built. At some point she'll need better stuff or she'll die and become a hindrance to the party.
I like what you did with the sword. More items should be like that. I've used a similar mechanic in the past.

You can rent a portable crib... I did that once went I wen to chicago on a trip, rented a car seat too. The company is all over the country. I can't remember the name nor find my link to it, it was 2 years ago... but try looking them up. Might be a cheaper alternative.

I'm going to check out this book just because of the art. I like Drew's and the PA artwork.
If it is chock full of this art I might just buy the book, I don't play 4e.

...off to check FB.

What are the sources used?
Because you can take:
Improved Unarmed Strike - Tome of Battle
Hands as Weapons - Arcana Evolved (enchant unarmed strike)
Shadowblade - Tome of Battle (dex to damage, req: another feat)

Plus the weapon focus/specialization tree
Amulet of fists for increase blunt weapon critical
Critical feats

Plus there's a feat that lets you change the damage type between slashing, piercing, blunt

Yeah, I made a lvl 20 write up of an unarmed fighter but not for Pathfinder. I'll go look for it.

Arg...
I bought the books just for this PbP.... :/

I like the Native American artifact idea.

NICE!!!
+1
FTW!

Dig it!
I always liked the Caretaker from the Ghost Rider comics.

I use the critical hit deck, limbs get chopped off enough to add lots of flavor.
Also, if the attack does enough hits points I have a limb disabled or chopped off. (Totally subjective amount of hit points of whatever I feel is good at the moment.)

So... I don't think you need rules for it. Just do it when you want to.

Got it and joined up.

@James hahaha

Also interested in following along. Not sure if you made it a facebook group page or fan page, but the later might be easier (fan pages give you the ability to send a message and have it show up in everyone's newsfeeds, I don't think groups allow this.) I'm preordering the books, but since I'm the only one preordering from my store, I don't think I'm going to get the PDFs in time for a PBP .

If not, email Fred at Evil Hat. I'm sure he would hook you up if you send him a picture/scan of the receipt. He's really helpful like that.

@Tambryn - still no invite for the Facebook group/page yet. My email is in my profile.

It looks like the pages are still in good shape.
I had this happen to a book before, I 3-hole punched it and put it in a couple of smaller binders. That might work for you. If you're going to throw it away, send it to me. I'll totally make some binders out of it. One for spells would be a great table resource.

@James dig the fallen angel idea

Also liking the voodoo idea.

I'm thinking of reformed street thug now martial artist. (Think Peter Cain from Kung Fu: The Legend Continues but with some magical 'oomph'.)

I read that as "Pathfinder Logan's Run"...
I was really excited for a second there... ;)

I guess your hostile attitude speaks for itself regarding your feelings towards the OGL and others using or reusing Open Content you create. If you don't want others to use your content I suppose you just shouldn't distribute under the OGL.

Ok, I've watched/read enough of this crap.

Steve's feelings about the OGL are not the issue, it's your attitude. Your site takes the content of other people's work and puts it in one place. Many people, including me, think it's a lazy and opportunist way of making a site. Yes, it's open content and you can do that. Many times you are a douchebag about it. There are more polite ways of asking for things and pointing out what you think are someone's, or a site's, failings.
Quit attacking people. We're all gamers and we are a small niche of society. Be polite. Don't be a douchebag.

So, back off on trying to be the OGL police. You're not it.
Do feel free to offer advice to others to help them comply with the OGL's requirements. People appreciate helpful advice. There are no experts here, people are new using the OGL online. Be part of the community.

Cheers,
Matt

Tambryn,
I couldn't find the Facebook page when I searched for it. My email is in my profile, if you would send me an invite that would be groovy.

I have no preference for the dice rolling. Whatever you want us to use would be great.

I have a couple of ideas floating around for a character. I need to do some more reading to see which one gets the spot. :)

Ok, I'm in with trying Facebook.

I have the books (pdf) but I am still reading them. :)

Hire him.

...and there's this one:
Calendar

I'm interested for sure. (email in profile)

What about city design? Is that something we will get to participate in?

I'd keep it here or anywhere else besides facebook. (It's blocked for many people at work. Not to mention their 'privacy' policies now are 'screw the users'.)

You can use http://imgur.com/ for image uploading or even google docs too.

Anyways, let me know. I'm in. Email me.

Also, I think the project needs more advertising.
Anyway to get the news of the project to the game shops?
We are already a niche hobby/society and there are so many places to find gamers on the internet. Need to get them all.

Try to get the project on some of the gaming podcasts too. And on the gamer blogs.
