Gonna go shoot myself in the tooth now, with any luck I'll miss and hit what passes for my brain. :/ You could always pop some painkillers. But then again, we all know how that would turn out now don't we... ;) In addition to what people have asked for regarding more info on Aasimar in Golarion, I would extend that to maybe include the other "playable" races in the Bestiary and Bestiary 2 (or at the very least, the Planetouched Races, which are the most likely to be used as PCs). Most notably, where on Golarion each race might be found in numbers so as to give people who want to play them food for creating a backstory for their character (I'm a big fan of Character Backstory as you could probably tell from my extensive list of PbP characters in my profile). Ross Byers wrote: You could use the Shadow Bloodline from the APG. True, but I was more looking at the flavour of having the other Draconic Bloodlines fleshed out. Plus, I'm not as big a fan of the Shadow Bloodline as I was hoping to be, given that I like Shadowy things (I'm a big fan of the Shadowdancer despite what others think of it). Umbral Reaver wrote: For most of them it's a simple case of picking a draconic bloodline that has an appropriate breath weapon. Which is harder with the Umbral Dragon than with the other four... :( Is there any chance of getting updates for the Draconic Bloodline to incorporate the new True Dragons in the Bestiary 2? I have been itching to play an Umbral Draconic Sorcerer since the Core Rulebook first released, but sadly Home Brew Rules are not allowed at my gaming table (if it ain't in the Rule Books, it ain't in the game). Erik Mona wrote: I hope they fit the Brig back into the show (or perhaps the Sarah Jane show or Torchwood) while Nicholas Courtney is still with us. What a delightful man (the character and the actor). The Brigadier was in Sarah Jane Adventures already (Season 2, Episode 11 & 12, Enemy of the Bane Part 1 & 2) :) Turlough was always my favourite until Captain Jack came along. I even met Mark Strickson and have a Photo and bunch of my old skool Who books signed by him (and Katy Manning, John Levine and Dudley Simpson). But my current lineup is: Captain Jack Harkness
My un-favourite Companion lineup is:
I seem to dislike the favourites for some reason. Sarah Jane used to be at the top of the list, but after watching Sarah-Jane Adventures she's grown on me a little. Vic Wertz wrote: The bottom line is that the notion of supporting the local retailer is great, but I just don't think retail subscriptions are the way to do it—I think that there's no winning scenario that makes sense to everyone there. We want our interactions with retailers to involve higher rewards and less risk of problems—things that will be more clearly "win-wins." Things like Pathfinder Society, and Free RPG Day promotions, and other retailer-oriented projects in the works that we're not talking about just yet. That's where we need to focus our efforts for now. As someone who doesn't live in the USA and lives in a (comparatively) small city, I know that ordering through my FLGS is a costly and slow process. Considering the current closeness of the Australian and US dollars, here is a comparison of what I am paying for an issue. AP: Retail= $US20 FLGS= $AUS35-40
Then we come to the issue of when I actually receive the product.
I currently get my APs and Tales as a Sub through paizo, but all of my other lines through my FLGS. If I had the steady cash to be able to make sure I had money for everything in my account each month I would without hesitation switch back to Subs for everything (I was a Charter Subscriber) but at this stage I just can't and coupled with the fact that my FLGS will hold stuff for a week or two until I can afford it, or there is the option of a 2 month layby if I really get stuck, means that for the forseeable future I have to put up with paying more and getting my products months late. As to my highlighted text above: My FLGS might support PFS if I asked them, but I don't think the turnout would be big enough for them to bother, so it's not a huge issue. However Free RPG Day and other incentives simply aren't any kind of draw for me as 1) my FLGS doesn't get anything like that in for anyone but WotC and 2) I would be hard pressed to name more than a handful of stores in Australia who would do the numbers to even consider any kind of incentive deal (including Free RPG Day, although I know you guys have no control over that), which means I still have to buy anything like that from you guys anyway (eg. Free RPG Day products and Posters). I know your major consumer base is in the US, but there are issues that make it hard for people in other countries to support buying from a FLGS as opposed to buying direct from Paizo. This is a Thread for people to throw out ideas on what they would like to see as part of future Golarion Day Blog posts. I figured it would be better for it to have it's own Thread rather than Paizo Staff having to sift thrugh all of the Sable Company posts to get an idea of what people want to see. :) Dragnmoon wrote:
Yeah I know. Last year we got the Christmas Special in mid January and the year before that we got the Christmas Special 2 weeks before the Fist ep of the not-Season. :/ I'm likin' the in sync schedules a lot. :)Loved it! Missed it on the telly (we actually got it out here in Australia the day after Christmas, but Family gatherings prevented me from being there). :(
Noone's mentioned it yet, but how freakin' awesome does the next Season look!?!?!!!! I both hate and love those sneak peaks at the end of the Christmas special. I sooooo can't wait 'til the new Season starts. :D Karui Kage wrote:
Cool. It's not a huge issue, so don't go out of your way for it. Do you plan on adding in the stuff from the APG at some point? And dare I ask... Do you plan on releasing a Golarion specific version that incorporates items from all of the various Golarion/Pathfinder sources? Niiiiice! Just been playing with it and it looks good. :) Any way to make the window maximise to fill the screen? When you generate more than 3 items you have to scroll in a confined window of text, especially for some of the more expensive items when they take up 2 lines.
Awesome! We're currently running through Rise of the Runelords at the moment in our fortnightly Pen and Paper game.
On another note:

That ought to be almost enough for most of my hoard. I may pick up two more for the DVDs. Yeah, I've been cleaning up my garage and found that apparently I may need a few more bookcases. Problem with that is that I have no more room in the double garage for anymore bookcases. :/ Kruelaid wrote:
I don't think you need be worried that there'll be noone around waiting. Seriously, we're all waiting with baited breath for the day you start it back up agin... :) Kvantum wrote:
+1 I heartly endorse a subscription option. :) Cordo wrote: I'm about to start up a Stolen Lands campaign. The charter reads that it was granted on the "24th of Talistril" but I am unable to find which month this is on pg. 238 of the campaign setting. Am I missing something obvious? It's a mistake. It should read Calistril (February equivalent) the month associated with the Deity Calistria. I wonder how I knew that... ;) Wolfthulhu wrote: Well, s*#~. A bottle of mead and several hours later, I'm going to have to completely replay Operation: Anchorage. Not tonight though. I'm going to bed. :-( I almost got through Mothership Zeta last night. I think I'll have to finish it off tonight, I'm just about to go for a spacewalk to the bridge... OK sorry about my absence guys. I had internet issues again and have been catching back up the past week (and unfortunately this PbP was the last I've caught up on due to it had the most posts and being an intensive game it will take me a lot longer to go through than my other ones. I am off work sick tomorrow though adn it is my mission to get back on track with it. I'm going to bed now, but expect me to post tomorrow. Once again, sorry for my absence. Jyu1ch1 wrote:
Thanks All. I am feeling slightly better (ie. was able to eat some food today and no blood in mucus for the whole day!). However the downside of 15 hours sleep is that it's now 3am and I'm still awake (although I am going to bed in a few minutes). :( So... I apparently have a throat infection (Pharyngitis). My throat is swollen and I can't eat. Plus I have killer headaches and my body is all tender and weak (probably from lack of food). :/

Oh damn, did I need a point? Making valid points isn't really my strong suit. You might want to look up Mairk for that. ;) Moorluck wrote:
Awww... c'mon. The 7 Charisma also takes into account her caustic personality, so she's still way better looking that Sandra will ever be! :) Moorluck wrote:

:D It was a little disappointing though, as the Paladin and the Lawful Good Fighter destroyed all the Skinsaw Cultist's Magical Skinsaw Masks because they detected as evil. :(
Hopefully we'll fight some more Cultists and she can sneak one away... Moorluck wrote:
lol... yeah read my edit. He went well and truly BOOM! :D So I tried the Magus out as my new Pen & Paper Character on Friday night at RPing.
It was... interesting. When she did finally hit, she insta-killed the poor Skinsaw Cultist with a Shocking Grasp enhanced Longsword that caused him to explode for 33hp damage! (which is a little overkill I now realize going back and looking at their stats and their measly 12hp :/) Kirth Gersen wrote:
While my initial preference was for Magister, I do actually quite like Kirth's use of Theurgist. It was a very close call between Sunken Empires by Open Design and Ironborn of Questhaven by Rite Publishing, but in the end I gave my vote to the Ironborn. I think my review pretty much sums up my feelings about this product (even more so that I actually took the time to do a review, not something that happens often) and I am very much looking forward to a time that I am able to play a character from this marvellous Race. You can always give it a little look see as well with the Free Preview. So I'm home from work again today. I think I may have what Caitlin has had all week as I have a rash on my stomach and a splitting headache. :( Between all the crap that's happened to me in the last couple of weeks I think it's high time to take me out in the paddock and shoot me. Either that or send me off to the glue factory... :/ So... apparently I've gone over my 150GB download limit this morning with 16 days still to go before the month renews. How I did that I don't know. I was downloading something last night, but there's no way that should have taken me over the limit. Which means that I am onnce more relegated to Dial Up speed. :/
