The Aranea in the bestiary 2 says that it casts as a 5th level sorcerer but doesn't have a bloodline or get bloodline special abilities. If I advance an aranea by adding sorcerer levels the caster level should stack (adding 5 sorcerer levels should make the aranea cast as a 10th level sorcerer).
now if I advance any given creature by adding sorcerer levels it would gain a bloodline just like any other sorcerer. I assume that by adding additional sorcerer levels to the aranea it should get a bloodline and bloodline abilities as well correct?
If so, should its bloodline abilities be based only upon the additional sorcerer levels or its total casting level?
Is there a rational reason why it is easier to create a flesh golem (required caster level 8) then it is to create the weaker ice and wood golems (Both required caster level 12th) in the Bestiary?

Basic Adventure Module B9 Castle Caldwell and Beyond was designed for the Mentzer edition of the Dungeons and Dragons game (AKA BECMI for Basic, Expert, companion, Masters and immortal, the names of the boxed sets that comprised it). Like all of the B series modules it was designed for characters level 1-3, yet unlike the other modules in the series, B9 was comprised not of a single adventure but of 4 shorter adventures. These adventures were The Clearing of Castle Caldwell (and the associated Dungeons of Terror underneath of it), The Abduction of Princess Sylvia, The Great Escape, and the Sanctuary of Elwyn the Ardent. These adventures (with the exception of The Abduction of princess Sylvia) would later be reprinted in the 'mega-module' B1-9 In Search of Adventure.
B9 has long been one of my favorite of the B series modules, and after seeing the thread on here about converting B2, I decided to go ahead and convert B9 to the pathfinder game. Eventually I plan on converting all of the adventures, but to this point I have only finished my favorite from the module, The Sanctuary of Elwyn the Ardent. I will post that conversion now, and post the other adventure conversions on this thread as I finish them. Feed back would be nice.
Hope somebody gets some use out of this,

You guys have done a great job so far making this a fun and exciting contest! I wanted to say Congratulations to every one of you that made the top eight, and I look forward to reading your locations.
Sorry to do this guys, but I am having a bit of financial hardship at the moment, so Cosmo, could you please cancel my pathfinder adventure path subscription (prior to the shipping of #25)
thanks.

Hey all, I thought that those of you that frequent this board might want to hear about an adventure design contest that I heard about on another site. here is a link to the place where I read about it.

Any way I just thought that somebody on here might find this of interest.
Wes :)
I was wondering if it would possible with PRPG to get dire animals to look more normal again? You know like they used to, before they became deformed parodies of the animals they are dire versions of, with inexplicable bumps, spikes, horns and tumorous growths.
I recently purchased the AD&D Dungeon Master's Adventure Log PDF from the paizo store and was dissapointed to find that it was incomplete, the original print product had a page of illustrations containing pictures of various weapons from the Player's Handbook... the Paizo PDF lacks that page (which was actually the entire reason I wanted the PDF).
I am not one to realy complain, and I am certainly not going to demand my money back or anything, but I was thinking that Paizo might want to put a disclaimer or mention of this fact on the page for the product so that others do not make the same mistake that I did.

Hi all,
I was thinking about submitting a creature for the wandering monster section, and just wanted to confirm that they are treated like the other campaign workbooks articles (ei. you don't need tos end a query first). I figure they are, as theya re in the CW section, but thought I would ask anyway since WM is not listed in the writers guidelines.
Since Charles Ryan is no longer the D&D Brand Manager at WotC is it possible that WotC might relax thier current attitudes some and let Erik start putting more explicit Greyhawk content in Dragon and Dungeon?
I for one hope so, in the long run at least.
What sorts of articles of the type that you regularly publish do you find that you get the least amount of submissions for?
I ask for the benifit of potential writers out there... I know from experience that it can be alot harder to sell an article to a magazine if they already have enough of that type of article to last for three life times... and conversely it can be easier to sell an article to a magazine if there is a general shortage of that type of article.
talking with Erik a few weeks back at one of the weekly greyhawk chats he mentioned that he was thinking of moving the new monster articles back to Dragon magazine. I was just wondering if he ever came to a descision on this, ei... are the new monster articles going to stay in dungeon, move back to dragon, or will both magazines be publishing new monster articles in the future?
Wes
when I try to download the styles sheets (next to the writers guidleines) for Dungeon I get a single page word document that says only...
This document contains the Microsoft Word style sheets for properly formatting your submissions.
there is nothing more to it then that... is there any way to get the actual style sheets?
