The turnout for the opening speeches
is quite respectable, and the four keynote speakers each deliver
short but well-received welcomes to the festival. Mayor Deverin’s
friendly attitude and excitement prove contagious as she welcomes
visitors to town and jokes about how even Larz Rovanky,
the local tanner (and notorious workaholic) managed to tear
himself away from the tannery to attend, much to everyone’s but
Larz’s amusement. Sheriff Hemlock brings the crowd down a bit
with his dour mood, his reminder to be safe around the evening’s
bonfi re, and his request for a moment of silence to remember
those who lost their lives in the fire that claimed the town’s previous
church five years ago. Fortunately, Cyrdak Drokkus is more
than up to the challenge of bringing the crowd’s mood back up
with his rousing anecdotes as he delivers a not-completely-irreverent
recap of the long process the town went through to fi nance
and construct the new cathedral. He throws in a bit of self-promotion
at the end, as is his wont, inviting everyone to stop by
the Sandpoint Theater the following evening to check out his
new production of “The Harpy’s Curse,” revealing that the lead
role of Avisera the harpy queen will be played by none other than
the famous Magnimarian diva Allishanda! Finally, Father Zantus
steps up give a short speech thanking everyone for coming before
declaring the Swallowtail Festival underway.

Catman, I’m too much of a luddite to figure out where everyone has the characters posted that they’ve linked in so nicely so I’m sending it directly to your e-mail. As I told you in my e-mail on Monday, this has been a horrendous couple of days at work for me so I apologize again for my slowness in getting this to you. From here on out things should get much better. After I get out the character sheet and bio, I put up an introductory post out.

don't worry about it. i got both of them

well i was looking throu the fiendish codex 2 and saw a this race and well what do you think about it.

hi gavin

my character is more or less a Cleric of Iomedae
he worships her but draws his power slightly differntly to most clerics
he stuggles with being Lawful
perhaps our characters could know each other? maybe they studied together and decided to go on a quest.
Krasus is a foundling and is looking for his parents, maybe your pc came along to help

Rav

Well, Chaine is an orphan and was raised by the church. Perhaps they studied together? Chaine is also more drawn to the martial aspects of Iomedae and will probably be multi-classing Paladin soon, so don't feel that your niche as cleric is threatened.

Hmmm, I can see the two of them in the monastary with Kras coming up with all kinds of schemes that could get them in trouble and Chaine trying to talk him out of them.

mmm.... linked pcs.... me like:)

Thank you! ^^ Now I know what to do with that extra language slot from Linguistics.

Sounds like your game is full, but if you have any cancellations or drop-outs, I would like to play. I have a job that prevents me from gaming with my friends, but would really like to get back into RPing. I have 25+ years of experience although more of it is behind the DM screen than in front of it.

I can play any class that is needed.

a healer class would be a good addtion to the party.

wellcome back. thanks for wanting joining this newbie game.

Ok, I am working on a Cleric of Iomedae. Will post soon.

BTW, I have never played by post. I have limited access to the internet from work (where I will be doing most of my posting). Is there a specific roller of character sheet you want us to use? if so, I may have to post it from home.

any char. sheet will do. we are use 2d6+6 of char. gen.

sounds good but i have school mon, tue, and thur. i don't get home intull 12:00am

well for the last month i been test out the beta with 4 char. lv 10

1.human fighter
2.elf Arcane Sorcerer(female)
3.gnome bard/Pathfinder Chronicler
4.half-orc Druid

i will post stats later. so far i like the fact that the sorcerer have blood lines it makes for more that 1 type of sorcerer and have use magic device. the fighter is so-so. the fact he get better with armor is good but still same old killbot.the gnome is well suport.telling storys+aid=a +6 to one person:).druid pretty much the same.

i just got done killing a vrock man... be sure to have a Cleric or a sroll of Align Weapon.

Mystra on the other hand...another symptom of novelists and designers doing a game of one-upmanship, designing a nigh-unkillable character who exercises massive power with extreme prejudice (and when I say prejudice, I mean the "my servants get +10 Con and awesome abilities" prejudice - part of me thinks they should just make the Chosen demi-gods and be done with it).

no... the magister is worst

then you must love minions no matter what Lv. they only have 1hp example....

Lich Vestige Level 26 Minion
Medium natural humanoid (undead) XP 2,250
Initiative +14 Senses Perception +19; darkvision
Necrotic Aura (Necrotic) aura 2; any living creature that enters or
starts its turn in the aura takes 5 necrotic damage.
HP 1; a missed attack never damages a minion.
AC 40; Fortitude 36, Refl ex 40, Will 38
Immune disease, poison; Resist 20 necrotic
Speed 6
m Death’s Touch (standard; at-will) ✦ Necrotic
+30 vs. AC; 10 necrotic damage, and the target is weakened
(save ends).
rShadow Ray (standard; at-will) ✦ Necrotic
Ranged 20; +30 vs. Refl ex; 10 necrotic damage, or 15 necrotic
damage if the target is an arcane power user (such as a wizard).
A Orb of Obliteration (standard; encounter) ✦ Fire, NecroticTwo, three, or four lich vestiges acting on the same initiative
count can use their standard actions to hurl a single orb of black
fi re that detonates on impact. Make one attack roll: Area burst
5 within 10 of one of the lich vestiges; +30 vs. Refl ex; 5 fire and
necrotic damage per lich vestige making the attack, and ongoing
fi re and necrotic damage equal to 5 per lich vestige making the
attack (save ends).
Alignment Evil Languages Abyssal, Common
Skills Arcana +24
Str 11 (+13) Dex 12 (+14) Wis 13 (+14)
Con 14 (+15) Int 22 (+19) Cha 18 (+17)

and after you hit your paragon and epic path (LV.11,AND 21) you get a + 1 to all ability scores

you get more feats 1 every 2lvs 2,4,6...

Catman, I don't know if English is your native tongue or not, but I would recommend cleaning up your grammar a bit. That might elicit more responses from forum goers. You don't have to be Friedrich Nietzsche to do that. :) Good luck.

Warlock Class Features

Eldritch Blast
All warlocks know the eldritch blast at-will power. This
power can be used as a basic attack. You gain this
power as well as another at-will power as determined
by your Eldritch Pact.

Eldritch Pact
You have forged a pact with mysterious entities that
grant you your arcane powers. Choose one of the following
pacts: fey pact, infernal pact, or star pact. The
pact you choose determines the following warlock
abilities:
At-Will Spells: Your pact determines one of the atwill
spells you know.
Pact Boon: Each pact includes a pact boon. The
pact boon is a granted power you can use to further
hex your enemies.
The pact you take also provides bonuses to certain
warlock powers. Individual powers detail the effects (if
any) your Eldritch Pact selection has on them.

Star Pact
You have mastered the astrologer’s art, learning the
secret names of the stars and gazing into the Far
Realm beyond, gaining great power thereby. You can
call upon powers that madden or terrify your enemies,
manipulate chance and fate, or scour your foes with
icy banes and curses drawn from beyond the night sky.
Dire Radiance: You know the dire radiance at-will
spell.
Fate of the Void: You have the Fate of the Void
pact boon. Your curse intermingles with the lost vitality
of a cursed enemy to reveal a glimpse of the future
to you.
When an enemy under your Warlock’s Curse is
reduced to 0 hit points or fewer, you gain a +1 bonus
to any single d20 roll you make during your next turn
(attack roll, saving throw, skill check, or ability check). If
you don’t use this bonus by the end of your turn, it is lost.
This bonus is cumulative; if three cursed enemies
drop to 0 hit points or fewer before your next turn, you
gain a +3 bonus to a d20 roll during your turn.

Prime Shot
If none of your allies are nearer to your target than
you are, you receive a +1 bonus to ranged attack rolls
against that target.

Shadow Walk
On your turn, if you move at least 3 squares away from
where you started your turn, you gain concealment
until the end of your next turn.

Warlock’s Curse
Once per turn as a minor action, you can place a
Warlock’s Curse on the enemy nearest to you that
you can see. A cursed enemy is more vulnerable to
your attacks. If you damage a cursed enemy, you deal
extra damage. You decide whether to apply the extra
damage after making the damage roll. You can deal
this extra damage once per round.
A Warlock’s Curse remains in effect until the end of
the encounter or until the cursed enemy drops to 0 hit
points or fewer.
You can place a Warlock’s Curse on multiple targets
over the course of an encounter; each curse requires
the use of a minor action. You can’t place a Warlock’s
Curse on a creature that is already affected by your or
another character’s Warlock’s Curse.

As you advance in level, your extra damage increases.
Level Warlock’s Curse Extra Damage
1st–10th +1d6
11th–20th +2d6
21st–30th +3d6

Warlock Powers
Your powers are also known as spells. Each power is
associated with one of the three eldritch pacts, but
you aren’t limited to choosing powers associated with
your pact. In fact, most warlocks choose at least a few
powers from outside their pact to give themselves a
wider range of options.
Spells of the infernal pact use your Constitution
score. The dark energy you wield is inherently harmful
to the mortal body, and only through sheer physical
resolve and discipline can you wield it safely. Fey
pact spells rely on Charisma. Your force of will and
your ability to bargain with the fey is key to spells of
this type. Star pact spells require you to be physically
inured to the rigors of otherworldly energy (Constitution),
and also ambitious and driven enough to impose
your willpower on the strands of fate (Charisma).

Level 1 At-Will Spells

1.Dire Radiance Warlock (Star) Attack 1
You cause a shaft of brilliant, cold starlight to lance down
from above, bathing your foe in excruciating light. The nearer

Standard Action Ranged 10

modifier at 21st level.

2.Eldritch Blast Warlock (All) Attack 1
You fire a bolt of dark, crackling eldritch energy at your foe.
At-Will ✦ Arcane, Implement
Standard Action Ranged 10
Target: One creature
Attack: Charisma or Constitution vs. Reflex
Hit: 1d10 + Charisma or Constitution modifier damage.
Increase damage to 2d10 + Charisma or Constitution
modifier at 21st level.
Special: At 1st level. you determine whether you use Charisma
or Constitution to attack with this power. Once you
make that choice, you can’t change it later.
This power counts as a ranged basic attack. When a
power allows you to make a ranged basic attack, you can
use this power.

(human)3.Eyebite Warlock (Fey) Attack 1
You glare at your enemy, and your eyes briefly gleam with brilliant
colors. Your foe reels under your mental assault, and you
vanish from his sight.
At-Will ✦ Arcane, Charm, Implement, Psychic

Target: One creature

foe. His mind reels in terror.

Standard Action Ranged 5
Target: One creature
Attack: Charisma vs. Will
Hit: 2d8 + Charisma modifier psychic damage, and the target
takes a –1 penalty to Will defense until the end of your
next turn.
Star Pact: The penalty to Will defense is equal to 1 + your
Intelligence modifier.

Level 1 Daily Spells

Level 2 Utility Spells

teleporting a short distance. When you reappear, you are still
somewhat out of phase and difficult to harm or hinder for a
short time.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Teleportation
Move Action Personal

bonus to all defenses until the end of your next turn.

Dalanet or "D" as he is knowed comes from a large falimy. Out of 3 set of twins, he is the youngest and has no twin. After pleading with mother and father they desiced to let thim study to be a wizard. He study with the Eladrins but found it takeing too long. So while looking in the study he found a short passage detailing on how to get more power in 1 day, than in a hunder years. He thought it was a joke so D on a clear night filled with stars called to the star da'call... In what seem like a hunder eladrins lifetimes all knowage was knowed and in the next insant it fragmented.D thought it was just pretest nitemares and went to his bed and slept. The final exam was here and D was next. At frist no spells came to mind... he stuggle to call the spells he spent 10yrs learning but silnce. The protures said you have a ten count before you fail. 1... 2... 3...a fant voice wisper 4... 5...da 6... 7...da'c 8... 9....1 with a loud voice DA'CALL!!! a shaft of brilliant, cold starlight to lance down from above. Well from that day on D became a aveaure.

so what do you think yes i made lots of spelling errors.
