I organize ENWorld's Chicago Gameday and wanted to let Paizo fans know that we have a Pathfinder event at the upcoming Gameday 28. There are currently seats available for five players.

Chicago Gameday is a day of free RPG gaming held at Games Plus in Mount prospect, IL. The Pathfinder event begins at 9:30am on Feb 26th.

To sign up for Gameday, post in our sign-up thread over on ENworld. Just mention which games(s) you want in on.

Here's the event description:

The Pallid Plague

Reports from Andoran's Darkmoon Vale indicate that a new plague is causing the deaths of untold fey. The Pathfinder Society sends you there to aid the nymph queen in stopping the plague and finding and destroying its source. When the plague spreads to the human population of Falcon's Hollow, the need to find a cure grows more frantic. Can you save the many denizens of Darkmoon Vale from certain death?

This product is a Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7). This scenario is designed for play in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, but can easily be adapted for use with any world. This scenario is compliant with the Open Game License (OGL) and is suitable for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

You can either create your own 1st level character, under the rules of the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play (PFRPG). (I also recommend using the PF SRD for some information and tips as well. Make sure to chose a character faction -- faction missions can be fun.) Or you can bring an existing Pathfinder Society character or you can run one of the Pathfinder iconics..

Are these guys aware that "Powers & Perils" was an FRPG by Avalon Hill back in the day?

Just curious if there were any plans to produce, in particular, non-fantasy themed FlipMats or a Combat Pad. I'd love to see a general modern/SF version of each of these. Horror/Cthulhu versions would also be nifty, IMO.

If there are no such plans, consider this a request, and file it where you may. :)

I'd like to solicit the community (and staff, if they're inclined) to recommend some adventures from Dungeon that would make for good one-shot sessions at a convention/gameday. We're talking six players and 4 to 4.5 hours from start to fniish. IIRC, I've got every issue dating back to somewhere in 2002.

Thanks in advance!
