Has anyone ran a game where you started out at 15th or higher level and fought the BBEG only to be defeated and started over ten years or 50 years after the battle as the daughter, etc. Born to fix the failures of your hero relative?

Ok, This may be weird but why are the players at Gen Con rewarded with the grand opening for the new season for PFS. I would think that the season would start at PaizoCon. Just a thought.

So, after watching one of my favorite shows, I have started to think about how to add Reavers to the campaign. I will start it with rumors about sailors gone mad at sea destroying ports, pirates, and merchants alike. Stat wise I am thinking barbarians. Anyother ideas might even add the Reavers floatila. Yes, I am completely ripping of firefly. Should do a .floatila or Miranda with a black pearl from Savage tide type crazyness to the island.

For a S and S campaign I am looking at running a crossblooded sorcerer red dragon/ fire elemental. Idea by the end of the campaign he would use form of dragon II and III
and land on the deck of the ships.to breath fire. My questions are what spell are going to work the best for.ship to ship. Example 1st level starting would be sleep and burning hands. I don't normally run casters so I have know idea about feats either. I will stick with a blaster style over hand to hand.

Will Paizo release the other classes in the same style as the one in the Beginner Box. I noticed they released the barbarian, but will I have to wait until an Expert set until sorcerer, druid, summoner, paladin comes out.

This will be my wife and I's first Paizo con. We will be playing in low tier games 1-3. How much game stuff do we really need to bring? I was thinking dice(his and hers), Figs, pencils.
Since we are playing low tier how many books do we really need? We don't have tablets so that is out of the question.

We will be flying in from Oklahoma and we are thinking of dressing up for cos play, what is the best way for get everything up there and not having it get trashed.

So I am finally get sometime to play Society again and wanted to play a barbarian and as I look through the factions I can't find a reason to join one. I think what might be a good Idea is that there is a Merc. Society that's job is to supply the PAthfinder's muscle for their travel. Think meat shield R US. But I wanted to play a Kellid but could not find any of the factions he would want to join.

I moved before my November purchase arrived . Can it be shipped with my December shipment.

What are the best feats for blaster style sorcerer?

Ok I love Paizo and pathfinder,but why can they make all scales for maps for 5' foot when dungeon crawling . Ok, second question why don't we get artwork of the town as the characters enter a town. Example since ravengro is the first town the character sees in carrion crown I thought a pic of of the town looking from the graveyard to see harrowstone on top of the hill would have been great to show the players.

So, I don't usually play blaster, but I have always like loved the idea of someone who controlled the elements. So, the end result is Avatar state,without the asian martial arts. So, how do I get there?
I though about an oracle/sorcere(crossblooded), problems are that divine spells stink for elemental style spells.

So, I am running my pre game for Carrion crown and I was using Black Waters from PFS and the last monster is a Ghast and I can't find one in Bestiary 1 or 2 is one printed some where.

Second if I can not find one what should the CR monster be if I have 6 1st level guys.

I have always like the bad guy from Marvel and I have tried to build him before but it never feels right. I am hoping one of the New magic classes, the one with the magic weapon can help, but I may need the Ultimate combat book to put in a feat that allows unarmed combat to go up like a monk damage chart.

So I am doing a intro game to introduce the prof. I was thinking of a Halloween festival. Gone horribly wrong. How would this type of festival work when in our world we dress up as imaginary creatures where in pathfinder they are all to real.

Ok....Over the past couple of days for whatever reason I have had a itch for somethings of my youth. So I have looked some old 80's cartoons and ran across a cartoon that I vaguely remembered. So, I started watch this show on youtube. I didn't know what a great this was. What really stood out was it has a whole episode of what an evil party would be like. Most are just CN though. But I ended up watching all 13 episodes it was great.

Have I missed the player guide to this adventure path or am I just being lost on the boards? Paizo usually has them out about the time the last book is printed for the one before.

OK, I am palying a halfing Summoner with a Bipedal Eidolon I gave him reach, bite and improved natural damage. The two spells I took were enlarge and mage armor. My gm is having some problems with him. What are the best arguements that this not unbalanced.

How did they come up with the damage for weapons in role playing games? Like why does a scimitar have a better threat range than a long sword?

Ok, my gm is not to keen on the summoner class for Kingmaker. So what about an exiled Tian-Xe wanting to set up a clan base in the river kingdoms. Rules questions... Is Katana a MW bastard sword? And can you build a better Samurai using the fighter build in Pathfinder or just use the class complete fighter

I'm running the RotR AP and at Hook Mountain Massacre. I have a group of 5 players. My problem comes from 2 players that have AC's 33, 27. Are these to high for 8th level. It practically means I need to roll 19-20 to actually hit these guys. It can get a little frustrating at times. I like my game to be Heart pounding in style and play. Any ideas?

Has anyone else seen this cool show. It shows what if battles between warrior cultures like Vikings Vs.Samuri. They do weapon test on ballistic dummies and collect force and speed of weapons along with stength of armor. Example... The Samuri used a Katana again a stack of three hogs the blade went through two of them, but when they tried against Viking Chain nothing. Very Cool show.
