Ouch, I hope this is a first time thing. I have been on the loading screen for over an hour.

Other than the boon for backing the project is there any other relationship between the MMO and PFS? ( I assume we will only receive this if funding is successful)

Are there any plans for PFS Chronicle sheets for the Thornkeep stuff?

The MMO Kickstarter project is suffering at the moment. There are no mathematical models which have it reaching its funding goals. The core of Pathfinder is on believing/magic/fantasy. The campaign ends Monday evening and is currently over 150k short. I would double my pledge if there was more PFS ties.

Once I learn how to be a GM I plan on using a projector and d20pro for maps (beating dead horse;would save time if I could buy the maps from paizo*). What I would be interested in is cut-scenes. I backed the Pathfinder online Kickstarter so this should not be a pipe dream.

The cut-scenes could be module specific or just set the mood. A dark and stormy night kind of thing or fog rolls in blanketing the city... Maybe spell effects or creatures approaching/attacking.

*manually creating the maps helps me understand the module more completely. It is a time sink. I think the extra time will help me make the experience richer for my players. GMing is not the same as reading a canned story during story hour at the library.

Is it legal to substitute player actions for the dice within the scope of organized play?

Example: I have a Turkish puzzle box. Would it be legal to hide a key in the box and have the players figure out how to physically open the box vs rolling to disarm device or similar?

Maybe there is a locked door rather than finding a key or a lever the characters notice there is a symbol on the door that is missing tiles. The characters find the tiles with perception rolls but to open the door the players must assemble the tiles to make the matching tanagram.

Could be the characters need to stack boxes so that they can reach a window? So you have the players stack different sized blocks such that the path would be stable. How well the players do in building the stack could impact the DC on the climb rolls.

Thanks,
Bob
