Blackleaf eats what he can early and watches the sun raise , he had spent much of his watch in reflection on his path and the odd folk he has found himself with in this unknown land. Soon after everyone is up Blackleaf approaches the others
"I plan to scout south again today, if anyone wishes to join me then lets get moving before the sun gets much higher"
He plans to head south, as soon as anyone else going is ready"
Humm my post is gone, anyhow all I said was..... other then taking a patrol around the camp to see if he can't spot any tracks , Blackleaf has nothing he really wants to do. He'll patrol and nap and take night watch but as they have food and water he nothing else planned today and the only one at the camp he may have anything in common with he thinks is nuts

Blackleaf makes his way to Ishirou "What are you sensing out there? Do you feel we are being watched, and more importantly by beast or something..worse?" he says keeping his eye on the jungle
Blackleaf does not speak to anyone much. He prepares the meat for cooking, stripping off his heavy armor to let the muggy air kiss his tattooed flesh. He keeps an eye on the others as he does so, he is wary of them. After all any one of them could have been in one the betrayal that landed them here and he had not lived this long by letting his guard down among the wild places.
As he works he keep a keen eye out to see if any of the others seem to group together.
Blackleaf starts to skin the now dead snake, No use letting the meat go to waste "Good spell" he gruffly says to Tragershen as he skins the dead snake. "Should we go onward or head back? You look a bit sun sick, and we have dinner!" he says with a grin.
If possible blackleaf will move up at attack the incoming threat to the others. He has fought snakes before, but maybe not one as large, still he lefts his axe and hopes to put the beast down before it kills one of the others.
Blackleaf eyes the water and the flashes of color then lingers over to the bush "Can either of you swim? I am not sure going into this water is the beast of plans. Do we really need that berry that bad?"
Blackleaf looks to see if anything lurks within the water
"If that man survived He'll live only so long as he can keep my axe from his scalp " Blackleaf says as he searched the area for signs of his prey, thoughts of exploring the wreck now gone from his mind.
Blackleaf goes quite as he moves down the embankment, Keeping his eyes and ears open to the sounds of the wild. Something about this hostile place made his blood sing, yes something here was right and something here was off.
" Stay back a bit, I'll scout ahead a small ways" He says as he vanished into the jungle
Looking over the bluff Blackleaf says "Not the easiest of climbs, a rope would have been helpful. Perhaps we should look for another way down or come back at a later time."
He looks at the edges of the cliff to see if he can spy another way down.
Sorry guys sometimes I am not on much on the weekends, this was one of em
Blackleaf looks over the cliff To judge how hard a climb it might be.
Survival 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
"I know I slept and wake up rather rudely on the damnedable beach" He says with a shrug. He keeps a eye toward the ship far below "As for that, been there a long while , most likely been picked over and home to gods alone knows what, but might be worth checking out or it might lead us to our death, Time will tell." he says
As Tragershen rattles his with questions about what he is doing he answers but keeps them short, blunt and to the point.
He shrugs at Nichelle,"I do not care if she comes along, it looks like Rhys is going to be down today, so we hunt. Any others you want to invite" he says with a smile
If no one else Joins or once they are all ready Blackleaf heads east into the jungle.
Blackleaf slept well the night before, but it seems the night was not so good for some of the others. Aerys seems to be ill and while no healer he does search is thoughts for things that might cause such an ailment.
Know nature 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
If he can get Nichelle or Rhyes out of earshot of the others he says "Pity about the woman, Should we explore? fresh water would be good and I like not the idea of just sitting here waiting for the beasts to come and feast."
Blackleaf retrieves his axes after the battle then moves with the others to the new camp site. He helps the others build up the best defense they can. He listens as the others talk, but says noting as he eats. His eyes are always on the jungle, this is not the forests of his homeland, yet something calls him. He feels it in his blood, something near, if not here then close, yes he is on the path he thinks to himself.
"I suggest putting those of us who can see better in the starlight at different times, if possible have us in the dark of the night, with those with weaker eyes at dusk and dawn."
Blackleaf lets out a stream of Elvish curse words as the beast moves to fast for him to bring his axe to bare, he pulls and axe from his belt and hauls it at the beast as it swoops back toward the tree tops
Blackleaf would also push for the forest, he is more at home there, cover is better you can set up a better camp with a better defense. He would want at lest a few miles from the beach however
Black leaf hauled the items to camp, but he did not give up the coffer or the Brandy.
Blackleaf hauls the items to camp and drops the set of Keys at Jask's feet "This might get those off of ye. See if the gear in the footlocker is your on."
He then strips off his armor and sets about making camp as best as he can "We have tools and supplies for now, we should set up defenses. "
"It might, but whats down there is most likely spread across the sea floor with more of those things down there." He says as he works to secure the items in some fashion
"Humm kinda maybe, and strong enough , he was most likely surprised and did not see the thrust in time" he says as he strips the man of his armor and weapon. Placing the sword though his belt and adding the armor to the pile of items bound for the deck
Blackleaf comes running and hands her the satchel as she works on Alton he starts hauling stuff to the deck seeing no danger here and knowing the sea would claim the ship soon
If Alton is dead however Blackleaf with strip him of his gear braking fingers if need to to claim the sword
Black leaf holds up the bottle of bandy "Well hello" He says with a grin stuffing it into his bag, which is soon followed ship model and the coffer, he lugs the leather satchel over his shoulder as well "You might want to look at whats in the satchel " he says to Nichelle
He plans top stack the food on deck and try and find a away to get it off the ship. also salvaging as much rope and netting as he can as well.
Blackleaf goes to look over the body. then looks to Nichelle 'I'll pack the sacks to the deck, we need to get some rope and rigging, easy enough should be plenty and a good door we'll make a sled if we have to to pull it back to the camp"
Blackleaf throws the keys into his bag and loads the rest of the items into the footlocker with Derindis gear. He looks to Nichelle and says "Can you open that?" he says pointing to the drawer. If not he plans to take his axe to it and bash it open
Before blackleaf and reply to Nichelle another one of the sea beasts bursts onto the deck. With a roar blackleaf runs toward the best and brings his axe to bare.
Blackleaf looks over the wreckage then at Nichelle. 'Can you make that jump?" if she says yes Blackleaf grips his axe and takes a run and leaps toward the ruined deck
Blackleaf shrugs at Rhys "Suit yourself" he says as the other wonders off into the wood. At Vincenzo's words on the ship he just nods [b]"We can scout the ship well enough I guess, and yes shelter is something we must find, cannibals aside things live in that jungle. Things that need to eat"
Blackleaf sits on a pile of crates , sharping his blades and sipping at his water as the others argue like children. After a while he stands
"Bah! Enough of this, I am going for the ship. Anyone that wishes to come do so." he stats simply as he starts off on the path toward the ships wreckage, not really looking to see if anyone comes with him
Acro check if needed 1d20 ⇒ 7
Climb check if needed 1d20 ⇒ 14
This thing has moved very fast but Blackleaf would not have spent hours and hours just sitting there. So even though I am out of order He went for the ship
My base is 7 and 5, as I was looking for animals I added to +2 from FE bringing both to 9 and 7 as I was tracking it added another +1 so that made +9 and +8
"Should we search the ship? Maybe something useful there or or leave it be wont be long perhaps till it sinks to the depths" he says with a tone that says he does not care either way.
Blackleaf shrugs and in accented common says "I am no healer, But yes food and shelter is something that needs addressed " he digs though the pile finding his meager belongings, placing his axes at his belt and daggers at his boots
He looks to Rhys "The others can take care of these folks, they will live of be dinning in Pharasma's hall this night. You know the land I will fallow your lead and see if we can find a better place to camp then the open. The open is never good"
With that he moves off toward the jungle to search for tracks
Perception to find tracks of animals 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Survival for tracks if found1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Blackleaf shakes the gore off his axe and looks around the area "I'll see that bastards heart cut from his chest!" his swears and kicks at the pile looking for his gear or anything usable 'Are the others dead?" he yells to Rhys
Blackleaf lifts his ax into his hands, feeling the welcoming wood and the feathers and beads as the brush his forearm. with a roar he moves to the closest creature and brings his axe to bare . "To Pharasma with you!" he roars.
I am guessing the pile is in 9-J? So am taking my actions based off that
Seeing the pile nearby and the thing striking at him Blackleaf tries to fight down the sick in his stomach and standing up hoping his armor will stop the attack that he knows will come. He tries to roll away from the thing and get a bit closer to the pile and possible weapons with in.
Blackleaf arches an eyebrow at the Gnome and smiles as Sarsha and winks at Aerys as he grabs the Wine "Fortune in a meal eh" Blackleaf says starring into the bowl "Eh I have eaten queerer things." he says as he digs into the bowl
Blackleaf is sure to smile at the captain as often as he can as he loudly eats his meal and guzzles down the mans wine.
Blackleaf shrugs "I think she would be far more entertaining on her back, the girl needs a bit more elf in 'er and I would be glad to help with that. But if her being drunk upsets the captain, yes that will be entertaining enough for me." He says with a savage grin
With a grim look Blackleaf shacks his head "Let the bastard try and Pharasma will reap a red harvest indeed before I stand at her throne. " The he gets close to inspect that marking, running his long fingers across her back, ears closed and head slightly turns as if hearing something no one else could.
"The Mantis, a powerful totem, warrior, hunter and silent killer. In my homeland , deep within the forest lays the hunter grounds of great Mantis, avatars of death given flesh." He nods his head again "A powerful totem indeed" Seems to look at the girl in some kind of new light and understanding.
"And as for feisty, life is for the bold and those who grab hold and throw it to the ground. In life there are panthers and there are cattle. I am no mans livestock." He says giving her an appraising eye "And if I like what I see, I say so. You Humans are to restrained, the best things in life are testing yourself in battle, succeeding by the sweet of your brow, the strength of your arm and the sharpness of your blade. Powerful drink and soft companionship make life enjoyable, why should I deny myself either?"
Blackleaf, done with the lines plops himself down on the railing, scowling at any spoilers who seem about to comment on him sitting down. He shrugs his shoulders "Hells if I know why I got invited, I doubt that uptight bastard invited me. I am no good to that one unless I am brawling, fighting off boarders or hauling cargo. And you! he say nodding toward Sasha "Got any more rum? , I got a powerful thirst and wouldn't mind the company." He stretches and grins "Last visited to the ships rum got me four days in the brig, but eh I needed the rest anyhow. By Desna's t#+# this trip has got boring, maybe this little dinner will be lively and get that old bastards goat " he says with a bellowing laugh
Blackleaf over hearing the other talk snorted "Dinner, aye the wrench joined him for dinner all right" He says in accented common and bellows a laugh like a drunken dwarf.
Blackleaf was a bit intrigued by the Invitation, he got on well enough with most of the crew even if he and the captain clashed a few times. The man was far to strict on some things the elf thought, and he had spent a few nights in the brig over such clashes.
Blackleaf was useful enough aboard that he was still own the ship, but he expected not to be asked back after making port, which was fine by him he had had enough of this life. He liked to run the lines of the ship, enjoyed the spray of the sea and wind as he climbed the mast but this discipline was to much for the elf.
He was ready for honest ground beneath him, for the surge of a life of death struggle. Hells he was ready for port, he had a powerful thirst and a need for some soft company. Which ship life was sorely lacking. Oh there where a few women on the ship none seem inclined for companionship. Humans He thought to himself Such restrained creatures Some times he things he'll never understand civilized folks, always holding back when they should be letting go. and with such small lifetimes too, so odd to him.
With that he shrugs and went back to running lines, the dinner would wait, he had work to do for now.
