Don't know when this will air but just the fact they are making a second season makes me very happy. Second Season and Movie announced for Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon.

Sadly it seems only the series currently on Netflix will continue to be on Netflix. Rumor has it that there was a "Full Stop" order from Disney that forbids all sale or lease of properties not already contracted to non Disney owned entities. That being said there is a chance that Hulu will get a few new shows but they (at the moment) don't have the track record for original series that Netflix does. Or so says this article anyway.

While not a direct 1:1, if you are looking for a video game with some similar elements I'd recommend trying to get a hold of the Suikoden series of games. I, II and III are really good, IV and V are ok.

Maybe it'll get better, I seem to agree with you alot on media so ill keep watching for now so we'll see.

I agree, though I worry that ep14 will end on a cliffhanger after all the stuff they've pulled lately. Last few eps have been blindsides left and right . My thoughts on the rest of the stuff this season so far Overlord...Interesting so far but also the first couple episodes of season 1 was more attention grabbing than this one. Katana Maidens...yeah this is not what I was expecting for this show, I was expecting a tropey rehash but the direction they've gone caught me off guard. A Place Farther than the Universe... So far nice slice of life with a really different topic. Dialog feels a little ham fisted at times, and serendipity is a bit heavy but an interesting watch. Citrus...moving on.... Darling in the FranXX...It's a Trigger show so I'll probably end up loving it regardless, but first episode didn't grab me the way they normally do. Record of Gancrest War... Feels like someone couldn't get the rights to Suikoden so they made this. A Ryou's Work is Never Done...interesting info about Shogi stuck between cringe, probably tolerate for a while to see how it goes. Laid Back Camp...Encouragement of Climb 3.0..as an Eagle Scout and hiking and camping enthusiast myself I look forward to either complaining about the flaws, and/or congratulating them on accuracy depending. Still need to find time to checkout Violet Evergarden, Mitsuboshi Colors, Seven Deadly Sins Part 2, and Killing Bites

The plot of NV is the story of the Mojave, the DLC for NV is the story of the Courier. It actually, for me anyway, is what makes NV the best of the modern Fallouts.
Welp, just got back from my private screening of the movie. (Not joking I apparently bought the only ticket for the time slot so I had the theater to myself). I'd give it a solid 8. New animation style took a bit of adjusting to but I ended up liking it. Story felt a bit rushed at places, but worked better than most of the attempts at adventure stories in the actual show.

So what did folks think of Made in Abyss? spoiler: Personally I give it 9/10, and if I don't see another season I'll be very disappointed. So one interesting note, the "curse" is a weird cross between the bends and radiation poisoning. As someone who works in the nuclear power industry. O found the depiction both interesting and vaugley horrifying.

Between the two of them, that's 8 books to keep you busy for a while :) I'd like to second this. the Paksennarrion books are probably the best depiction of what a Paladin should be in print currently.
If that New Vegas 2 rumor is true, I will be very happy. Heck if it's even almost as good as the original, I would say Bethesda should just let Obsidian make all of their Fallout games for them. Fallout 4 was fun but a bit disappointing, I really don't understand how Bethesda repeatedly makes a game with a main plot I care nothing about, but I still play for months doing all of the side content.
Last 3 episodes of Season 7 synopsis revealed synopsis links:
Thoughts on synopsis: On 24: Meh, really I have no opinion on this one. It's a Starlight episode where she gets jealous of the mane6 being friendly with Sunburst. On the Finale: This however is interesting, so we find out that Starswirl and Co. (The Legends of Magic from the comics) here also called the Pillars of Old Equestria. Have been Sealed Good In a Can for the past 1000 years. And they get brought out, but I assume when the can gets opened they let out the baddie that they trapped with them as well. So looks like we are going to have the Pillars plus the Elements duking it out with the Pony of Shadows. Some interesting possibilities there.
Interesting news out of the Hascon thing thats going on this weekend Season 7 and 8 coverage Spoilers! Spoilers for Season 7 and 8: So it seems that the rest of the season will be pretty interesting with background characters coming forward more. But I guess the real news out of that article is that
A. Chrysialis will be back for season 8, probably the villain of the opener if not the season. B. The events of the Movie seem to be fully integrated with the show. This is what is most interesting to me, as normally they relegate the out of show stuff, comics, EQG films, etc to soft canon status. To introduce somthing in the movie then add it to the show that's a big change in the way they do things. I get Transformers movie flashbacks when I think about it. (and don't ask which one, as far as I'm concerned there was only one Transformers movie and it had Orson Wells as a planet sized robot.)
Did a quick catchup of the last couple episodes. Fame and misfortune was pretty good, though a couple of the jokes felt a bit mean spirited. Overall pretty fun. Triple Threat was a spike episode so... yeah didn't care for it that much. Better than most spike episodes but still a low point of the 2nd half so far.
I'd say here is probably as good as anywhere. In fact a link to the trailer is a few posts up above. Honestly I don't know what to think about the style yet. I like the more detailed expressions, but the CGI render on the ship and buildings is not really that great. I am interested in seeing where they go with the story, it sounds very different than anything they have done before.
Took a look at the Season 7 part 2 teaser trailer. Spoilers for Season 7 2nd half: It looks like the Campfire Tales episodes will introduce all the legendary characters that are the focus of the Legends of Magic comic series.
It's interesting to see that they are actually tieing in the comics pretty heavily now..in a sideways fashion. Seems like they are attempting to use them as prequels to anything major event that happens in the show. But also making an attempt to not alienate anyone who isn't reading them. Seeing as how there are rumors that speculate these characters will be the ones who took out the pony of shadows the first time around. I'd be willing to be that, now that we know the titles of the final 3 Episodes this will be the closest thing to a 3 parter finale that we've seen. Uncommon Bond: I am willing to bet that this is going to be the story of how the LoM characters teamed up. Shadow Play 1&2: and the inevitable contest between the mane6 (7?) and the Pony of Shadows. Maybe with the girls recalling the lessons from the LoM characters? Should be an interesting 2nd half, really wondering what Hascon is going to show.
I did enjoy the first episode of that one. Two others that seem to have promise at least so far are Knights and Magic which is the first Mecha anime I've been interested in really in a while. And they do have an interesting spin on the Sent to Another World trope. and The Elegant Yokai Apartments was in an interesting surprise. Then again I'm a sucker for supernatural slice of life shows.

So you are saying they need to conform to the The Evil Overlord List ?
So due to a moment of weak will I watched the Australia released episodes. Huge Spoilers DO NOT READ IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE AU EPISODES: Discordant Harmony: Pretty standard fair, nice to see more character development for Fluttershy. I can't even imagine her Season 1,2 self being outgoing enough to be excited about seeing all the crazy that is Discord's domain. and the big one The Perfect Pear: The episode I've been waiting for since Season 1, and now is absolutely in my Top 3, probably my Number 1, episode for the season if not the show as a whole. It actually caused me to get a bit misty eyed, hearing the regret and mourning in the voices of all the characters involved in the story. William Shatner did a great job as Grandpear. And Felica Day proves once again she has a great singing voice. I now only wonder if Grandpear will be recurring or if they will actually make use of the fact that Burnt Oak agreed to tell Big Mac more stories later. And of course I still want to know how they actually passed away dang it. Two healthy young people just up and die? There is a heck of a story there, one that I'm sure we'll never get due to the nature of the show but still my curiosity burns for the answer to that one. (Personal head cannon: Buttercup died during Apple Blooms birth, and Bright Mac passed away from heartbreak shortly thereafter.) One thing is sure Season 7 keeps racking up more hits than misses. Can't really say the same about these new EQG specials (at least the first one.)

And we are now at the halfway point of the season with the Hiatus starting as of now. (Unless you count the next three Saturdays with the EQG specials as part of this season). So Far I'm enjoying this season, lot of new stuff shown and a lot of callbacks which is a good thing in my mind. And my earlier theory about cast selection this season seems to still be supported. With it being one or two members of the core cast paired with a recurring or major background character. Spoilers for EP 7-11:
Episode 7 is Rainbow Dash/Scootaloo with Rainbow's Parents Episode 8 is CMC with Big Mac and Sugar Belle Episode 9 has Rarity and AJ with Photo Finish and Hoity Toity Episode 10 is Starlight/Twilight and the Royal Sisters Episode 11 is Pinkie and Prince Rutherford. This trend may be holding true in the second half, though there are a few that don't neatly line up. Five of of the next don't fall in line neatly as of right now. Spoiler for synopsis of future episodes:
12- Fluttershy and Discord
24,25,and 26 are unknown though 25 and 26 are probably a two-part finale Be interesting to see if it holds true, I like having the expanded cast, as it allows for a wider breadth of story potential.
Just watched the trailer for Anthem, I missed it the other night when EA did their presser. To me this just looks like a Destiny/Warframe clone. Heck the descriptions of owning a bunch of exosuits with unique play styles just shouts Warframe. I have thought since they introduced the multiplayer piece of ME3 that Bioware would probably start putting more and more emphasis on that side of things. Never did play either ME3 or DAI multiplayer. I felt that the concept was tacked on to those games and probably should have been it's own thing instead of an extra mode in what are other wise story heavy single player games. I like having co-op style games that I can play with my friends, but I also have begun to miss the single player focused story games that used to be the norm. Bethesda and Bioware were the bastion of those type of games for a while but it looks like the prevailing wind of market forces are shifting that.
Sequels are not bad things. But I'm, personally, finding it harder these days to get excited about them. I'd much rather see a fresh new IP than the 11th iteration of Assasins Creed (and a new IP that is an Assasins Creed game with the serial numbers filed off won't cut it for me either).
And on The Bethesda front...yeah they dropped the ball hard this year. VR is a cool tech but I'd rather hear about the next elder scrolls than a VR version of a game I've already put 300 hours in. And the Mod shop thing...yea, I'll just keep using Neuxus. I love their games but half the time I have to mod them to make them function as intended. Not interested in paying extra for that.
So far I'd rate this year's E3 announcements with a resounding "meh". For things that intrest me, I havent seen any new announcements worth really getting excited about. In this year's batch if it's not a sequel, spin-off or reboot it's decidedly mediocre. Some of the Indy games that are being demoed may be worth checking out but the big guys this year don't seem to have much ammo.

Wow, ok then, Let me give you a real compliment then, not just an inferred one. The Fallout series is one of my favorite franchises, and since you helped create one of the signature building blocks of it, thanks for the 100s of hours of fun.
Jesse Heinig wrote: Chris Avellone is probably best known for writing Planescape: Torment. He also did a significant amount of work on the Icewind Dale series, Pillars of Eternity, Alpha Protocol, and Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords. He's known best for deep character interactions and moral conundrums that do not have easy solutions. At this time he freelances as a writer for video games like Prey and the new System Shock, which in itself says something - freelancing as a writer in video games is not exactly the kind of career that you can undertake without significant skills, and many studios don't even have in-house writing positions. Not to mention he was a key writer and designer for Fallout 2, Van Buren, Fallout:New Vegas, and Wasteland 2 which are arguably better written than the rest of the current generation of Fallout games (and seeing as how they aren't actually badly written that's saying something.)

Probably just as well, a lot of places sacrifice single player quality for a tacked on multiplayer mode. Hearing that they want to focus on their main game is a reassuring thing.
I've been letting this game lie fallow for a bit. Recently started it up again for another pass, and I noticed something interesting, for me any way. Has anyone else found that by completely ignoring the main quest the game is far more interesting? The whole "Man out of time" aspect was a lot more appealing than the main story was. And after about 20 hours of just wandering around experiencing the world with that mind set I enjoyed the game far more than the "Quest for Shaun" that was the original story.

It's a bit more nebulous I think, I'm Putting this in spoilers since were talking about endings:
Rise of the Runelords has the most solid argument for having a canon ending, hence Shattered Star which also gives a nod to CotCT with the Grey Maidens involvement. But that's about it none of the other APs have been completed in the eyes of the main timeline. The Worldwound is still there, there is no new power rising in the stolen lands, the Hurricane King still rules in the Shackles, Yiddersius still sleeps, Kintargo still is part of Cheliax, and so on. Truly advancing the timeline would, I expect, require resolving some of those stories as well.
Now that's not to say that they can't advance the timeline and completely ignore those paths, since I don't think any of them have a set start date in universe. It would just seem odd to have all these worldshaking events that don't offically occur then have one that does. But I suppose that's just how I see it.
Noticed that the video was missing a few things that I know are supposed to come out this Summer so: Currently the ones that sound somewhat interesting to me:
I've been a little "meh" on the last several seasons with only one or two shows that really catch my interest. So the fact that I can list more than that gives me hope for the season.
