So if this is MA5, the 5th adventure in the Midgard Adventures line, then what happened to MA4? MA1-3 are already out there... Did they skip a spot?

Yes there will be a softcover available at Lulu, as soon as I receive the proof copy (guess one month). Fangs from the Past is already available

Fangs from the Past in print

Now that the Lulu softcover is available, will there be a discounted link to PDF purchasers like with the previous Basic Paths module?

EDIT: Like this?

andy29075,

All the print copies both on DriveThruRPG and Paizo.com are of the same quality, which you can ask the people who own them, is pretty darn high.

I have no idea how the "scanned image print copy" flag got tripped at DriveThru. Tears of the Blessed is no different from Book 1 or Book 2 or Book 4.

I just fixed that to "original electronic."

So to answer your question:

1) Yes.
2) Yes, though I have no definite date at this moment. As soon as possible.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any further questions and thanks for supporting "Way of the Wicked".

Question on the print version: are the copies in stock at Paizo identical to those available through RPGNow? I ask because I see that Book 2 is currently unavailable from Paizo, and I'd like to buy the whole set. When I go to RPGNow to order a print-on-demand copy, it gives me a warning upon adding Book 3 that the item is a "Scanned Image print copy" saying:

Quote:
"For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey."

I'd much rather order everything from Paizo, and I'd like my print copies to be of equal (and high) quality. So, my questions are:

1) Are the Paizo and RPGNow print copies equivalent in terms of print quality? If not, then:
2) Is there a reprint of Book 2 inbound to Paizo?

And have European customers cry, because that would mean it falls under "games" not "books" at customs and gets us hit with import fees and VAT.

That's weird how they can delineate between books vs. games when it comes to books about a game... In 'Murica, we don't care! (Where's muh KFC bucket?)

If you put a PFRPG-compatible Rise of the Runelords in a box with a couple of big maps, a sihedron medallion, some item cards, etc. I'd pay $250 (maybe more) for it. Question is whether enough of us would do so...

Sorry for the "Wize fwom yor grave!" (Altered Beast anyone?) maneuver on this thread, but your comment was incredibly far-sighted!! Given the both versions of the RotR re-releases and the associated pawn sets, minis, item cards, and map folios, all they need to do is make a giant box for it all! Or perhaps a metal-cased book with a latch? ;-)

Will there be a softcover version available, either here or at Lulu.com, like there was for Fangs from the Past?

All of us loved the pawns and the girls (3 of our players, the cleric, the archer and the rogue) fell in love with the goblins, they think that they are very cute (I think that those three are crazy!).

For more goblin goodness, it probably wouldn't be too hard to run them through the 1st level module "We Be Goblins", and you can download it for free here:

It comes with goblin-PC pregens... Yes, your players get to be goblins! (Poog was my favorite!)
