I'm not quite sure what to do with these threads. The original poster deleted their post after others had replied, so the system keeps the thread in place and shuffles the first reply into the top slot.
As to the removed posts, yes, if you use the word "rape" to describe anything other than sexual assault we will remove it. The specific dictionary example provided in defense of the removed usage was "rape of the countryside." The post we removed was not in fact using the word in this way.
The wording in that post was "rape this opportunity"—an opportunity to role play. I'm not generally a usage prescriptivist, but this is a frivolous use of a word that has very specific violent connotations, and any usage which serves to trivialize the very real, specific and traumatizing experiences of millions of people worldwide will continue to be removed from our messageboards. We will not bend on this rule.
Our policy when we do this is to email the poster with the contents of their post so it can be reworded to avoid the offending usage, so there are no issues of unfair censorship or arbitrary rules applying at play here. If any Paizo staff member had made the exact same post, we'd do the exact same thing.
