Wow, that's pretty sweet.
We don't use a website, though I wouldn't mind. I just have a calendar we use to schedule games. Since it's the same players every week, it's not a problem.
I have to say, I don't think I could care less about this movie/graphic novel. I have read it and just don't get the hype. Either it is too sublime and I don't get it or it's just crap and I do.
I really enjoyed the Pathfinder episode and I'm half way through the Cthulu Tech episode. Solid, quality work.
BTW, how big of a Gil Hibben do you need to have to play tic-tac-toe on the moon anyways?
Hey all! I've been trying to make a Pathfinder character sheet for 3.5 but I'm horrible with every program that I've used. All I want is a 3.5 original style sheet that just has the Pathfinder symbol in the top corner. Could someone point a fan-created sheet like this out to me. I tried the PF Society sheet but it is kinda lacking what I need.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
My gf and I showed up at the polls at 6:30 and voted at 7:10. There were around 100 people there, none of whom I knew. I live in a small rural community that used to be all semi-related, not anymore. We had 8 pages of things to vote on. I didn't care for the campaigers out front though. "Use your brain, vote McCain." Really? Cause you hicks are gonna sway me, right?
If Obama cuts my taxes, my house keeper loses a job, as do my lawn mowers, my friends go to the beauty salon less often, everyone gets less money. The rich will try to stay rich, and that hurts other people.
Well with the tax break they're getting and the additional higher education funding he wants to push through, hopefully your housekeeper and lawn mower can get jobs that'll serve them better and not you.
I love your argument: Keep people poor so they will continue to serve me for chump change.
Oooh harsh! But then, I was thinking the same thing myself. Cut your own grass and clean your place yourself, I do.
I'm pro Union so I won't be voting republican. I fully support Obama and feel that some of the reasons people around my town/state won't vote for him are just cover-ups for hate and racism. I've even had older relatives become very angry with me because "I'm voting for a "N". I can't believe that hate and bigotry like that still exist and it makes me ashamed of my own family. Crap, some won't even admit that they're Irish, they're even bigoted against their own heritage
I've been reading this thread and at least you all are arguing over things that are somewhat legit. Be glad you're not me, I live in the south and people around here still say out loud that they won't vote for Obama cause he's black, no matter what good he's done. Btw, thy didn't say black either. Makes me ashamed to live in the south.
Thanks, that made alot more sense. I was wondering if the gold value included all mundane gear in the scenario. Then I'll just handle it like buying normal/magical gear.
Some of what you guys say makes sense, but I haven't read anything about turning anything over to the Society at the end. I know all magic items are "lost" at the end and everyone has a chance to purchase them, but plain gear doesn't make sense to me. So, if a Pc grabbed 10 bolts, plain, mundane crossbow bolts, he'd lose them at the end? If she picked up a longsword, no magic or masterwork quality, she loses it? I could see subtracting it from the gold value at the end of the scenario however. Could someone in Event Organizing help out?
What happens when a PC takes mundane gearoff an opponent after an encounter? Do they have to buy it at the end also? Do I initial it like treasure? Since I'm going to run a few scenarios next weekend these are a few things I need to know. Yhanks.
I really enjoy it. I'm certainly not a fan of Lost, and that did color my perspective going in, but I think it's top notch. But then again, I'm not so jaded as to be cynical about a tv show. That and I recently just got cable after 8 years.
David Eddings: Pick one from the Belgariad
Gail Z. Martin: The Summoner
Mike Mingola and Christopher Golden: Baltimore or the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire
Stephen Lawhead: Merlin
First off, if this is in the wrong place, could someone move it? Thanks.
Second, is this in the works or even thought about? I've noticed that the AP'a have new monsters and being that I only have Second Darkness #1, I would love a Chronicle volume compiling all the new beastie from the AP's. I've looked through AP #1 and loved the Goblin Dog and snake and would love to have a book with all the new monsters in it.
The group I run and myself find the point-buy to be good. I let them use the Epic 25 and they were very pleased with the scores they got. I think anything higher is just too overpowered.
I've read the first two volumes of the Legend of Kern series and they are fairly good. There's something about it not being Conan that appeals to me. I haven't read the others and they are a bit hard to find in book stores, but if I could find them online or in a store, I'd pick them up.
I'm thinking of Gming some PF Society scenarios at Hobbytown in Kennesaw if any local Society members would be interested. I would have to get enough interest to actually do it, so give me some feedback.
I've noticed on my PF Society Character Sheet that the Character Number slot has a space an hyphen and another space. My PF Society Number is 4 numbers. Am I missing something?
Our cleric had no problem with it this Saturday. We were using the Pathfinder Rpg and it's a bit different, but the stats for the Forge Spurned don't say anything about turn resistance or any defense against turning.
I don't care for the Scary Movie franchise. And what do you mean by, "I do wonder if he was told what his character could do and wasn't rushing things he might have done a better job... ". He was acting out a scripted role, not playing a game. And, "I wonder if someone had pointed out no rogue would have left their ropes behind and thieves can actually climb and even getting halfway down was better than falling the entire way after being beaten senseless and then stabbed...
Yes it must have been the script." It was scripted and I doubt some fanboy was telling him what to do.
Wrath of the Dragon God had horrible effects and a ridiculous story line and the "actors" couldn't act their way out of a wet paper bag.
Ok, so I'm going to be the odd man out here. I could not stand Wrath of the Dragon God!! Hey, let's put every cliche D&D thing in it we can! Pure blech. I totally prefer the first movie, even Marlon Wayans. Snails was cool.
It's not a joke is it? I recently read that New Zealand has laws prohibiting what parents can name their children to keep them from having social problems later in life. I for one can't help but agree with this law and think some people should use some common sense. I hope your cousin has a middle name he can use.
I got sold on these books by catching a glance of the Jon Snow and the Night's Watch minis. That's all it took to send me on a mission to buy the first four books. Great, inspiring work!!
I can deal with an origin film IF it holds to REH's stories. Conan the Barbarian is a good movie, but really isn't Conan outside of the title. There are just too many things wrong with it that could have been easily fixed, but what do you expect from Oliver Stone. A brown haired Cimmerian who Prays(?) to Crom and goes to Valhala when he dies?!?!? ... goes of fuming and ranting to himself.
Hey all,
My group is looking for two, maybe three serious gamers for some long term Pathfinder, Shadowrun and possibly Star Wars gaming. If you're interested drop me a line at aegrist13 at yahoo dot com. We really need players and would love to meet some new folks. There are three of us now and would like to expand to around six.
I plan to use 3.x for Dark Sun, but with some PfRpg mechanics for the things I like. I do plan to convert my Eberron and Forgotten Realms Campaigns over to PfRpg though.
Erm I should point out Druid and rangers already get a spell that allow them to detect none magical traps and anyone with detect magic can already detect magical ones so at the moment 6 of the core classes can detect magical traps and 3 of the core can detect none magical. Also anyone with ranks in UMD can just buy a wand of detect magic so every class can potentialy detect magical traps.
Thank you!! This whole "make class features feats" trend is out of control. If you want Trapfinding that bad, take a level of rogue.
Sorry bout that. Honest. I love this board but I get a bit testy sometimes. I really didn't mean anything by it. I love that feat. I try to take it any time I play a multi-class caster.
Not to be rude, but has anyone actually read Practiced Spellcaster? it seems to me that no one has. sure, it gives you a +4 to the caster level of a spellcasting class, but only if you have 4 more levels in another class (or +1/ extra level). This is hardly an earth-shaking improvement. Your durations go up and Spell Penetration chance, that's it.
