Feats
1st level Fire Devotion
Spoiler:
Once per day as a swift action, you can sheathe your body in red and orange flames. The fire does not harm you, but you illuminate the nearby area as a torch would. While you are thus alight, each of your melee attacks deals 1 extra point of fire damage +1 point for every three character levels you possess (maximum +7 at 18th level). This effect lasts for 1 minute.
Any foe injured by this fire ignites and burns for an additional 1d4 points of fire damage per round unless it succeeds on a Reflex save (DC 10 + ½ your character level + your Charisma modifier). A burning creature can take a move action to automatically douse the flames. If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each two daily turn or rebuke uses you expend.
(Complete Champion), Improved Initiative, Martial Weapon Proficiency (falchion) [War Domain], Weapon Focus (falchion) [War Domain]
3rd level Divine Vigor
Spoiler:
As a standard action, spend one of your turn or rebuke undead attempts to increase your base speed by 10 feet and gain +2 temporary hit points per character level. These effects lasts a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier.
(Complete Warrior)

Background

Spoiler:
Zuko was born in the City of Raam. The family was small and Zuko was the only child. His father was a templar and he was grooming Zuko to follow in his footsteps. Hence, Zuko’s belief then in the primacy of their dragon-king was absolute.

But temple politics had a way of affecting you though you strive to remain neutral. The Undead Faction in Dregoth’s temple hierarchy framed Zuko’s father for treason. Zuko’s family immediately became pariah. No one was willing to lift a finger to help them.

Dregoth’s judgment was harsh. Zuko’s father was made to choose who among his family would fight in the arena. The one who would not fight in the arena will be forced to watch the fight and thereafter would be burned in the pyre of their home.

Zuko’s father decided that he and his spouse will be the ones to fight in the arena. Before Zuko’s shocked eyes, he saw his father commit suicide rather murder his mother. But mercy is anathema to Dregoth, and he reanimated the corpse of Zuko’s father, who then lunged forward to embrace Zuko’s mother. Locking lips, it was as though his father was making love to his mother, until the blood started flowing from her face. All throughout that day, Zuko was made to watch his father devour his mother. Suffice it to say that that experience shattered his young mind. So when he was brought to their home to be burned, he was already screaming for the flames.

But the flames were also cruel and will not grant Zuko’s oblivion. Instead, the flames wished to see him work for his revenge. The flames spared Zuko. From the ashes of his home, Zuko arose and let out such a cry of despair and anguish that those guarding the pyre scattered to the four winds and no doubt certain punishment once Dregoth’s templars catch them.

Agents of the Yellow Monastery witnessed the miraculous survival of Zuko. They approached the young man. “This is neither the time nor the place for vengeance. Such has no place in the proper order of things. But justice we understand and for that you will need our advise and help. Will you listen?” Zuko, exhausted from his ordeal, could simply nod is his consent.

The Yellow Monastery arranged for Zuko to leave Raam. Now, years later and much grown, Zuko has returned.
