Good Afternoon,

Received my order in great condition, thank you! I had ordered Pathfinder Comic #2 but received #1 which I already have. Double checked the invoice and it has #2 on it, Pathfinder #2 (Standard Cover-Matteo Scalera). I can send it back if you'd like and just add #2 to my next order if you could. Again thank you so much for your great service!
Rob

Life in the City of Twilight moves on at a normal pace. The hours of daylight go fast as the Westcrani rush about trying to finish their errands before the sun's light fades over Golarion and the dreaded Shadow Beasts begin to prowl the city streets at night. Most folk keep their heads down while out and about in Westcrown not wanting to attract to much attentions to themselves as Hellnight squads patrol and Asmodeus inquisitors watch over the city looking for trouble makes, potential rebels and seeking out dangerous knowledge to cleanse by enforcing the law with brutal clarity and vicious efficiency. Its a town full of disappointment and dispair as diabolism has taken ahold of the city. Hope has dimmed and the Shadow Beasts walk the streets instead of Aroden's faithful. The city still thrives as trade and its military might are strong but the city weighs heavy with its lost faith and tarnished reputation.

You have lived in Westcrown long enough to know that the city is slowly dying, the rule of House Thrune, the holy ones of Asmodeus and its pact with the devils from Hell are chocking the life out of the city. Westcrown's goverment follows Her Infernal Magestrix Queen Abrogail II rule but the major groups in the city fight or work in the shadows against each other creating a life of hopelessness for its citizens. Even though things are bad and they weigh heavy on your mind, the risk of doing something about has been to great but someone you just met has changed your mind a bit. Still causious from your first meeting with the lady Janiven has placed a speck of hope in your brain so your steps lead you to a secret meeting to meet fellow citizens with similar ideas that change must happen to throw over the cities oppressive government. Your last foot step places you just outside Vizio's Tavern, a run down tavern which has been closed for some time but the thoughts of a return to splendor and glory push you on, plus the promise of a good meal as your stomach grumbles reminding you its time to fill your belly..........Your hand slowly raises to knock on the door as your heart starts to pound, your hand shakes, once you knock there is no going back..............

Liberty's Edge

Greeting from the city of Westcrown! This will be the place where all the cool ooc(all) stuff will take happen! The game will begin soon, very soon. I will give a few folks a day more to turn in the pc sheet to me!

Again do not post your pc online till I tell you it is ok.

Also do not post here till you have submited your pc to me, you are not official till you do, basically not in the game till you do!!!!

Folks who I sent back an email saying something to the effect, "Looks good, everything is fine" can post in this thread if you so desire. Again no talking about your pc yet, we have a long ride ahead of us so nows your chance to introduce the real "you" to everyone!

I will start, as the GM I am granted this by the Paizo gods! My name is Rob as you should already know, I live in Seattle, WA USA and work as a chef at a large hotel management company. My passions are gaming and cooking! I am a Paizo fanboy who has been to both PaizoCon's and last year(2008) was my first GenCon. Missed this year due to money, hopefully next year! I'm an AP addict, I am running all of the AP's on the boards as you might have noticed!

Ok that is enough for the moment as the wine is really kicking in right now and this is taking way to long to post as is! So, Jeff, Gene, Daniel, Larry and Philippe go ahead and join in the discussion! The others must wait till I give the big OK!
Cheers from Seattle,
Rob

Looking for interested players to join game, will take up to 7 players but two of those slots are already filled at this time!

Using PF Core Rules, Council of Thieves Players Guide and Cheliax Pathfinder Companion! Plus the free PFRPG Traits guide(free download from Paizo).

Pick one Campaign Trait(Out of the players guide) plus two out of the Traits guide.

This is going to be more of a role playing adventure with less focus on combat. There will be combat of course but I would like more role playing going on, more banter between characters like you would at a table top game, more chatting with NPC's and more than one or two sentence posts from the players(of course sometimes it is warrented).

Please read through the players guide before responding! This also is a free download from Paizo!

So if you are interested please email me at reby43@yahoo.com

In the email heading please put Pathfinder Council of Thrones

In the email:
1. messageboard name
2. class/race you'd like to play
3. some background on your character-looking for well thought out concepts.

As I am still reading though the AP and other material(namely the core rules) it will take sometime to get this going but wanted to start and see if there was any interest out there and get the pc made!

I will email the creation rules once I set the group playing in the game.

So far we have a half orc paladin!

Cheers,
Rob

Need to fill 2-3 slots to help round out the group. Looking for persons who plan on buying the PFRPG which is the rules we will be switching to in Aug. Currently we have a Transmuter, Fighter, Barbarian and a Cleric. We are still in the first part of Shadow in the Sky(#13) so you have not missed much of the game.

So for now I want to find 2-3 people who want to play! Read through the Second Darkness Players Guide to get familiar with Riddleport and pick 2 Basic Traits and 1 Campaign Trait. After that we'll build a background for your pc and see where we are at that time! The pc's are all 1st lvl right now.

So drop a post and let me know you are interested, what class you are thinking, possible background ideas and your email address. I will email you letting you know what to do next!

Cheers,
Rob

PS We are using only Core classes and Races and only Pathfinder books!

The town crier holds up the parchment and shouts, Is there no one here brave enough to take the pledge? State your commentment now to attend the Grand PaizoCon Gala in 2010! The town crier watches the departing crowd and then looks down at the one brave soul willing to put his pledge to the record on the parchment he holds.....

Liberty's Edge

Hi,
We lost a player due to lack of time to game so I have an open slot but would like to fill two slots if possible!

We have progressed about half way into the module so you might think why would I want to join a game just about over! Well the plan is to finish River into Darkness and move right into Crucible of Chaos which also takes place in the Mwangi Expanse!

I'll post creation stuff once I see if anyone is interested at all! Go over to Zoomackulas's River into Darkness thread and check it out to see whats going on and peek your interest! Currently a 3.5 game but I have plans on changing over to Pathfinder RPG once I get it into my greedy little hands! Maybe if I'm lucky this weekend I will win a copy at Paizocon!

Cheers,

I am working on a project and would like to use the awakened apes of Usaro in the Mwangi.

Question 1: Are they like the Derhii flying apes in the module Crucible of Chaos or are they something else?

Question 1: If they are something else what stats should I look at to use?

Question 3: Has anyone done anything in this area already and have some information they'd like to share?

Question 4: And I was wondering if Paizo is going to coming out with something on the topic soon?

Thanks,
Zoo

Good afternoon paizo staff, hope your Friday is a good one on this rainy day! My order said it was shipped on March 31st and I have yet to recive it. It usually only takes 2-3 days at most to reach me since I am just on the other side of Lake Washington from you. I fear it might be lost in the mail somewhere and wanted to let you know so you can check your records to make sure it did leave the warehouse or not. Please let me know as soon as you can get to it. I can't wait to read the further adventures of Channa Ti! Thanks!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The hot desert sun beats down on you, your travel slow and dreary on the backs of camels. You are a few weeks out of the town of Solku and its been a long ride to this point heading for an unknown location in the northern scrublands of Katapesh. In the distant background you see the immense outline of Pale Mountain looming over the mid-evening horizon like a tombstone. You are here because you joined onto a caravan with the promise of your own personel goals being met even if the man who hired you on does not know your true motives. His name is Garavel, a no-nonsense major-domo of a merchant princess who is awaiting you group. With a latern jaw and short black hair, he is dashing and looks more like a swordsman than an accountant and business expert. He has been quiet most of the trip but you know the plans of his employer are to retake the town of Kelmarane, ordered so by the Pactmasters of Katapesh. Trade must be restored!

Game on Gamers!! Ok here we go, start by role playing on how you came to be with the caravan, describe yourself a bit so everyone knows what you bring to the table and you have been together for a few weeks now so you can work on how you met and became comrades!!!

Liberty's Edge

Just wondering if Paizo will have a booth like you did at Gen Con selling your wonderful products at paizocon? I hope so! If so I need to save more money for all of the goodness you bring! Good chance of unloading some stuff out of your warehouse before the big move also!

Riddleport, city of sin and debauchery, is waiting for you. It’s the place of pirates, thieves and crimelords, it’s where crime pays!

Most of Riddleport’s buildings are composed of wood—logs or planks—with multiple floors and steep, high peaked roofs of wooden shingles. They are built in close quarters, and in some cases their wooden upper floors sag and lean together from the constantly sodden conditions. Stone fireplaces ward off the bitter winter cold and the
chill that lingers in the fog-laden streets for much of the year, save for in high summer. During this two-month period, warmer air currents from the south bring a muggy, oppressive heat along with great black mosquitoes that breed in the nearby marshes. Many burn peat treated with incense in their hearths during these months to ward off the vermin with their thick smoke.
The major streets of Riddleport are cobbled, often becoming rain-slick cataracts during the wet seasons. Cobbles are often missing or crushed by the incessant traffic, leaving gaping holes and ruts in even the most well tended thoroughfares. Side streets tend to be relegated to
muddy tracks that are swift to turn into stinking morasses of sucking mud and filth. Riddleport doesn’t have much of a sewage system, and relies mainly on gutters along street edges to carry refuse to the river and harbor. One feature unique to the major streets is the frequent oil lamps mounted on iron poles that provide beacons of light in the benighted mists. These are set in sturdy hurricane lamps and burn thick, rancid oil from barrel-shaped reservoirs at the lamppost base—a byproduct and innovation of the Gas Works. These wavering lights give off illumination
equal to a torch in even the foulest weather but are not well-tended—just over a third of them are out on any given night, in need of repairs or refueling.

Above the city a shadow hangs in the sky called the Blot by Riddleport folk. Once thought to be a cloud but soon became evident that it often moved at odds with the wind. Scholars, investigators and others have come to Riddleport to witness this strange phenomenon. As of yet it’s still a mystery.

All of you are here to attend the grand gaming event being held at The Golden Goblin Gambling Hall tomorrow. Its morning and you have the day to yourself before the big event; some of you are just arriving into town and some of you are already in the city. Today is going to be a nice warm sunny summer day. Your stomach grumbles in hunger and you’re in need of a good bath to freshen up.

Ok game on, rp where your at and what your doing!

I have a group of three who are going to be starting second darkness later this week and would like to add 2-3 player to join. We will be using the beta rules which I am still going over so you will have to bear with me a bit. I will post the rules for this game soon but just trying to see if their is any interest. We were playing Zoomackulas's Flight of the Red Raven which stalled so we are moving on to this. I will take the first three only and then the rest will be put on the alt list.

The River into Darkness is only about a 1/4 of the way into it. Its a 4th level adventure module and once over I am planning on rolling them right into Crucible of Chaos hopefully. Playing is a Barbarian/Ranger, Druid and a Warlock. Currently in the middle of a battle so you would be starting out right into action. Check out Zoomackulas's River into Darkness thread to see if you are interested. If interested post here! First come first in!

Thanks

Chugging along the red tinted river, Captain Esteban points to the overgrown south bank as a reminder of the constant dangers that you face on these waters. Resting half-sumerged on that shore is another wheelboat, possibly the twin of your own. The center of the wrecked boat's hull gapes with a huge hole and the entire superstructure is missing, where some massive explosion ripped through the vessel. Faintly visible on its moss-slick bow are the words Lady Fortune.

4th level wilderness adventure that takes place in the land of Galt, just north of the boarswood forest in a small village called Azurestone! Your there because of 4 reasons, relatives: you have relatives in the area, helping with the harvest or just in town for the festival. Merchants: Your here because you were hired on as caravan guards and this was their final stop.
Hunters: Azuretown is a popular base camp for hunters.
Traders: You are adventurer's looking for for treasure and such and you are helping some one who is a merchant/trader to sell their merchandise to this small town.
Azuretown is just about to start their festival of the harvest in the fall. Your character's know each other from somewhere before but you are not quite sure from where.
The village of Azuretown gets its name from the blue mineral found in the region. So you know the area is mainly mining and farming area. the village is mostly human with a population of dwarves that do most of the mining.

I wanted to see if their is any interest here in Seattle for a monthly gathering to play the Pathfinder modules once they get rolling after Gen Con. I will be at Gen Con and have signed up to play all of the modules, so I could start things off by DMing those interested. Once I see how much interest their is I'll look into reserving a spot at a game store to host our monthly gatherings most likely on either Friday or Saturday. And since we are in Paizo's backyard so to speak maybe we will get lucky and have one of them join us once in a while!!!
So whose interested????

Although the last of the falling leaves litter the ground, the people of Azurestone are in high spirits. Like leaf-laden dust devils, they flit about the village in their gay autumnal attire in celebration of the annual harvest festival. The market square bustles with activity: farmers have brought in threir abundant crops to trade with merchants, who display the latest fashions and fads from the cities of the south. Minstrels and preformers seeking to earn some coin bring tales of goings- on in the world at large. Particularly popular are songs about the Red Raven, a swashbuckling bandit who steals from the high and mighty and spends his weath freely among the common folk. The villagers do not fear the coming season: the centerpiece of the festival is the Vernal Key, an artifact that has shielded Azurestone from the cold of winter for centuries.

It is the month of Neth and you are in town for reasons only known to you.

Main building in this little village include:
Deerstalkers Lodge which house visiting hunters
Inclusive Hall is the villages church that serves as pantheon and town meeting hall
Lattice Inn catering primarily to travelling merchants
Sahtissauna is a combination bathhouse and brewery
The square is the open market
Stone Shrine an all stone church which serves mostly dwarves
Sun's Rest is a pub that caters to the locals

Bloodcove: the last port of the call on the Fever River Sea. This strange town is part pirate haven and pare merchant bazaar. Its ramshackle buildings rest on the twisting, interwoven roots of a colossal mangrove tree, a fitting metaphor for the complex web of promise, decei, treachery, and broken alliances that defines the remote trading colony. The hard won bounty of the Mwangi expanse flows through Bloodcove to ports around the world, and obtaining these exotic riches from the deadly wilderness is the easy part-the real difficulty is hanging on to the treasure ling enough to see it safely delivered to a distal portal.

The module is a wilderness adventure for 4th level. So go ahead and fix your charcters for the game or create new one!
The game takes place in the Mwangi Expance, your charcters have just become stranded in a town called Bloodcove, the last port of call on the Fever Sea. It is run by pirates and trade consortum's mainly, pretty much anything goes here. You all have already adventured together and were on the same ship that came to Bloodcove before you were stranded.

Go ahead and work on your characters and if you have any questions just ask here. We need at least one more person so I am going to post over in the gamer connection next.

Looking for 5-6 player to start the current AP! I got one space reserved and he'd like to play a rogue. I'm going to keep this simple to start off:
1st level
28 pt buy in
NO Evil
Max Gold
Max Hit Points
I use Invisible Castle for all rolling
You get one bonus feat from the CotCT players guide
Your background is important to start off this AP and you want to make sure you read the CotCT players guide to tie in your character. All the background traits are in the guide starting on page 14.
It is also helpful if you have the Guide to Korvosa. Since your character lives in the city it will provide more info to use in your background.
I have most of the books available to me so go ahead and use whatever to build your character just make sure you reference your choices so I can look them up easily and give a yea or nay to whatever.
I am not going to ask that you post everyday because I know how busy most folks are but all that I ask is to keep up with the game when you are needed to post and let me know if I need to npc your character for a bit because you are busy with life!
I will be using the 3.5 rules, I have not had a chance to read the new pathfinder alpha rules yet.
So post here if you are interested!
Thanks

Your crew has been travelling for about two days now. What little food you had has long been eaten, you were not expecting to be gone this long on your little adventure. All of you are bone tired and starving with just a little water left. You have been taking your time because you have no idea where you are at or where you are going and you’re not sure what lurks along the trail you have been walking. One of your crew got a whiff of salt air on the light wind blowing through the forest you are now travelling through. Everyone figured you’d find some kind of civilization by the sea. The dirt road you have been following is more like a game trail which has now ended into a roadway, by the looks of it, a major highway. The road is quiet except for the rumble of a cart being pulled by a tired looking mule coming from the north. An old man sits atop looking just as tired as his mule. He has not seen you as of yet.

I have today off so I'm going to go over all the character sheets a little more closly to see if everything looks good and if any changes are needed to be made. After that I will break everyone into their groups and then the adventure starts! I talked a friend into playing last night at the club but he might not get his character sheet done until tomorrow. So we have a rogue now! I'll be home all day so any questions you might have can be answered!
