Background:

Zerekias was born and raised within a nomadic barbarian tribe. He never knew his father and his mother passed at a very young age. He vaguely remembers her.

The rest of the tribe collectively took care of Zerekias. Obviously, growing up as he did, you learn to survive...or you die. When he was old enough, he was expected to pull his weight in survival of the tribe. All Zerekias learned growing up was, you do what you have to to keep your "family" alive. Secondly, you keep yourself alive. Zerekias grew up never knowing a childhood. It was always spent surviving, and most of that was against gnolls. Constantly being attacked by the various tribes, Zerekias found it easy to hate gnolls.

He hated them with a passion.

They were the reason he never knew his father. And as far as he was concerned, the reason his mother was lost to him so early. During one attack--one that will always remain clear in his mind--Zerekias just finished off one gnoll, only to turn and see his closest friend within the tribe get struck down brutally. As fury raged within him, he took off in a flash straight for the beast. He barely remembers what happened, but when it was over, the gnoll was nowhere to be found. Zerekias has never forgotten that day. Ever since, it's been his mission to put an end to their kind. If his tribe was to survive, he knows he has to find a way to rid them of the area... permanently.

Personality/Appearance:

Zerekias is about 6'2, 200bs. Fairly good looking for a nomad but doesn't possess a lot of charm. Due to hard living and the death of his closest friend, his ability to relate to people leaves a lot to be desired.
