This holiday season has been extremely crazy work wise and have not had much time for anything but sleep and work and at the last minute my folks sold their home and bought a new house in Ohio so I had to fly home to help which is where I am at now. Moving in the winter snowy wonderland sucks by the way! The game will continue I promise! The move should all be done today and I have the rest of the week here in Ohio on vacation and plan on getting things back on track with the game!
Cheers

He winks at Zaranae. "Of course I can think of other ways to relieve tension as well, so if you're lucky and do answer our questions I can think of somone else who might get lucky tonight as well." Zee grins wickedly at Charsis.
Leaning forward she looks at the frightened man,"I'd be nice if I were you, 'cause if his mood is ruined....I'll kill you like I did your monkey."
Winking at Charsis, Zee draws a smokestick from her pack and prepares to light whispering, "On three"
Zee walks to stand beside Charsis a grin on her face as she whirls a portion of her chain.
Zaranae grins at Vee and shrugs, "I never said I was subtle. Just..effective"
Initiative 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Zee sees the oncoming simmian and starts her chain whirling waiting for it to come close enough she whips her weapon out with near unbelievable speed striking the oncoming creature.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 3) + 1 = 8
I'd think bullrush to be the most appropriate
Zees chain shoots out at the man's legs but fails to gain purchase
COMBAT Maneuver Trip 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Zaranae returns Charsis' guesture with a wink and a smile, unlatching the wicked chain at her hip.
Zee laughs.
"That'll work"
"We do this diplomatically, or the fun way?"
Zaranae chuckles and winks at Charsis.
Zaranae wanders over to Charsis and the odd little man.
"Everything ok?"
Going back to watching the floor Zaranae scans the room for anything overtly suspicious. She notices Charsis making his way over to an odd litlle man and speak to him in a manner designed not to draw attention.
Zaranae strides out of the kitchen and combs the room with her eyes, looking for Saul. Glad to see him still healthy she makes her way over to him, noticing Vee passing a message to Charsis on her way.
She leans close to Saul, the second he is alone, speaking in a low tone, "Saul, you might wanna see this. You're in danger as we speak"
She hands him the note and watches his face as he reads.
Zee is only partially stifling a laugh at Vee's verbal slip, and hends her the snake sa she retrieves the piece of paper. As she begins to read she somewhat distractedly addresses the kitchen staff.
"Alright everybody, back to work. See? There was no reason to panic in the first place."
Zee looks at the intruders to the kitchen with unbridled annoyance and for a moment everyone questions if she is going to strangle someone with the wicked spiked chain in her hands.
Taking a deep breath she turns on her heel to the kitchen staff, "Somebody get one of the empty flour sacks. You two, if you're gonna tespass then make yourselves useful, we've got a snake to put in a bag!"
Zaranae whirls around at the Dwarf's actions.
"What the hell do you think you're doing? Who let you in here with a weapon??? Drop it! Now!!! Get out of the kitchen before I make you."
She looks a Tvaliss in amazement, muttering to herself, "#@@%$@ lunatic kicking in doors and shooting into a crowded room, I should......OH FOR THE LOVE OF THE GODS QUIT PANICKING PEOPLE!!"
"Will you all please just shut up? It's not going to bite any of you!"
Zee looks at the poisonous creature and gives Tvaliss a sidelong glance.
"No chance you know how to charm this thing do you? If not I'm gonna have to kill it."
She uncoils her chair from the hook on her belt looking for the best angle of approach.
LOL
Zaranae shakes her head at Charsis' reaction winking at him when next he makes eye contact. She visually follows the woman as she enters, observing where she goes and her interactions with other patrons.
Scanning the room she notices the unassuming looking halfling moving quite shiftily through the room and vows to keep him in sight.
Perception1d20+4=22
Zee raises an eyebrow in amusement as the redhead enters, observing Charsis' attention. Shaking her head to herself at his good taste in 'eye candy' she goes back to greeting customers whilekeeping a watchful eye on everything.
Zaranae shrugs her shoulders at Charsis' querying glance, and loosens her chain around her waist as Vee opens the door to peek out.
Intimidate 1d20+7=17 Zee struts around, an aura of command radiating from her.
She raises an eyebrow at the sounds coming from outside and looks to Charsis to see if he or any of the others have noticed the noise.
Zee give Charsis a wink as she hauls the unconscious thug up from the floor.
"Just a little floor show ladies and gentlemen, we'll be here all night," she says with a grin to the patrons nearest her.
If Cause Fear is successful, attack of opportunity
Zee's chain lashes out at the fleeing man, a flash of black metal in the air.1d20+3=15, 2d4+1=6
Coming up behind the thugs she smiles as Charsis catches the punch and as the others decide to get involved her chain lashes out, wrapping around the legs of one of the thugs as she pulls.

Zee makes her way over to the commotion, but in an effort not to disturb customers, spends a few moments smiling, winking congratulating or otherwise mollifying those she passes on her way 1d20+4=9
She approaches from behind the drunken thugs, subtly loosening her chain as she goes.
1st roll Intimidate, 2nd perception, 3rd diplomacy. 1d20+7=15, 1d20+4=24, 1d20=16
The awareness of Charsis' distraction pleases Zee greatly, her mood making her far less intimidating than she usually is. Inversely, the smile on her face and hitch in her step greatly enhances the reactions of the customers, unused to security in such an alluring package.
Through it all her eyes miss nothing, the adrenaline still coursing through her from the earlier events of the day.
"I'm guessing our resident drunk is passed out under a table iun some hole in the wall."
bump
Zaranae goes over to Vee, wourking with the injured,"That was a damn gutsy move youu pulled there, good job sister!" She pats her on the shoulder.
Loosing the chain from her belt, Zaranae comes up behind Charsis preparing to face whatever waits outside.
Zaranae wanders to the bar to get Charsis and herself a drink.
Zaranae stands on the bar alittle out of breath from both the sudden torrent and Charsis' act of chivalry. he glint in her eyes shows that crazily enough she's enjoying this. All of it.
"I don't know but I told you things were getting interesting in ths town. Poor Saul must be out of his mind by now."
"C'mon boys, you know you want to at least check this out.....good pay, hot girls, drinks flowing like water and rubbing elbows with just about all walks of this town. What's not to like."
Halfway through her statement she takes a long langushing stretch.
"Looks like we have a few prime candidates." Zee leads Charsis over to the table where the four are enjoying themselves to make introductions.
Zaranae recovers from her shock with a quick grin, covering her uneasiness at the quake.
"Nice to see there's still a few real men in this town." She gives Charsis a wink.
"What the @#$%???!!!"
"Now now we wouldn't want to break him would we?" She says to Charsis just loudly enough for the brash young loudmouth to hear.
Turning to the men she smiles, "What I need is muscle. Smart muscle. I'm sure you boys know the Golden Goblin. Well I'm here to find some security. See we're doing really well and with more customers we need to expand the level of....service. There's a lot of people spending a lot of money, and a whole lot of very pretty girls there to entertain them."
She looks around the group making sure she has their attention. "What we need are strong, smart capable individuals, who can make sure no one bothers our customers, check people's weapons at the door and make sure that none of the girls has a reason to be upset.
And believe me, these girls can be pretty grateful."
"Gentlemen, you look like strong capable men. I could use a few guys like you. How'd you like to talk a little...business?" Zee breaks into a slow smile with the words.
Charsis Wyrmscale wrote: "I live to serve pretty lady. Where you lead I follow. Do you want me to do the talking now that I know the plan, or do you want to?"
He starts shouldering his way through the crowd, clearing a way for Zaranae.
"I'm the new girl, you can speak for the Goblin better than I can." she grins, taking the time to enjoy watching Charsis walk ahead of her.
"I guess the tavern owner should have a pretty good read on his regulars. Lets try that first."
"Damn it's crowded in here. Says alot for the quality of the drinks though." Zee says as she and Charsis elbow their way to the bar. "So how do you wanna play this?"
"Good point, the rough and tumble types tend to spend time in the lower end taverns. We could start there."

Smiling at the proposition of money, after coming to Riddleport with not much but the clothes (and weapons) on his back, he turns to Zaranae and whispers "well I must say I am stll feeling worn out after last night, but ready to keep working with you closely".
Louder he says, "so, seeing as I am new in town, where do you think we should start looking for men or women to do the bouncing?"
Zaranae smiles, her mind momentarily reliving the more enjoyable parts of the previous day, and gets ready for the day's work. It seems that Riddleport had more to offer than she thought.....
Zee returns the grin with one full of promise.
"Oh don't worry about him, a few more glasses and he'll be curled up in a corner with his mutt."
"Sounds good to me, besides... I get the feeling there's some major excitement on the horizon, so count me in."
"Make it interesting, make it something worth doing, and make it worth it. Meet these three and you've got a deal."
