Background:
Taken at the age of 16 by the Uthgardt "Red", Yuki Midori's fate was forever changed. The rogue Red Tiger killed her mother and intended to keep her as a trophy, but Yuki was rescued by an elf named Hathar. The elf brought the young Kitsune from the life of an arctic fox, to being the adopted child of a local Brew-master.
Five years passed, and Yuki was like a daughter to Hathar, and she saw her guardian as a father. Yuki had learned to use her graceful instincts and cunning to dance and entertain the local pub's patrons, and to empty their wallets after they had a few too many. She had a good life, until Hathar disappeared and left her stranded. The elf was assumed dead and for two years, Yuki was haunted by the solitude of her inherited life, until she uncovered a secret about her guardian, which may shed some light on where he may be.
Hidden in an alcove, the fox girl found a dusty tome, which had been untouched for many years. The tome described a tyrannical elven wizard who lived a few hundred years ago, and her apprentice, Malthar. Mistress Cylia was finally confronted and defeated in a massive battle, but her apprentice was never seen again. Yuki assumes that Malthar may be responsible, and that her guardian may have known him, as it is documented in the book that the apprentice had a similar upbringing to Hathar.
Yuki Midori set off to find the answers she desperately needed. She arrived at Candlekeep, a great library of the arcane. She attempted to use her charm to gain entrance, but nothing she attempted could talk Ulruant into naming her Seeker, aside from the truth. The master of the castle, is the only person there who knows her true identity. She gave Hathar's tome to the monks and they welcomed her unique skill set.
Three years later, now the age of twenty-six, Yuki is finding her Kitsune abilities growing. Her position at Candlekeep secure, she feels confident that her answers are closer than ever.
