Recruiting here for a PFS 1e standard (non-core) run of #4-14: My Enemy’s Enemy. Please post character details here as follows: Player name
Although touted as an investigation (which it is) there is a significant combat element to this scenario. I'll pick a party as soon as it looks like there's a coherent group in the same tier (this is tier 3-7, standard mode) I already have one spot reserved.
Recruiting here for PFS 1e #6-22: Out of Anarchy. Please post character details here as follows: Player name
Ideally, I’d like a group of vets + newcomers. Roleplay chops also count. I'll pick a party as soon as it looks like there's a coherent group in the same tier (this is tier 1-5, standard mode)
“I go,” said Tabaqui the jackal quietly. “Ye can hear Jumra Khan below in the thickets.” Father Wolf listened, and in the dark valley that ran down to a little river, he heard the dry, angry, snarly, singsong whine of a tiger who has caught nothing and does not care if all the jungle knows it. "The fool!" said Father Wolf. "To begin a night's work with that noise! Does he think that our buck are like his fat Jalmeray bullocks?" "H'sh! It is neither bullock nor buck that he hunts tonight," said Mother Wolf. "It is Man." Open for dotage.
Now Rann, the Kite, brings home the night
This is the hour of pride and power,
Night-Song in the Jungle The hunt begins August 26 ...

Hello CS, It appears the system has cancelled my Adventure Path subscription BEFORE the generation of the final volume of Tyrant's Grasp. Is it possible to reinstate the Adventure Path subscription so I receive the final volume of Tyrant's Grasp, and then cancel it immediately AFTER the Sub Order is generated so that I DO NOT receive the first volume of Age of Ashes? Thankee :)
For a city founded upon bloody combat traditions, Tymon is surprisingly placid. Weapons are invariably peace-bonded, there is a lack of muscle-flexing machismo in the streets — even public disputes are scarcer than in comparably large settlements. The Rule of law is strong here perhaps, or else violent urges are simply sated vicariously through the famed Arena of Aroden. Whatever the cause, little impedes the swift journey to Smine’s Weaponworks. The sound of ringing steel and the withering heat of the forge through an open sliding door identify the stone structure as readily as its well-painted but soot-stained sign. Several apprentices work blades in various stages of completion, and at the largest work area toils the famed River Kingdoms weapon smith (and secret Venture-Captain), Holgarin Smine. He glances up under singed eyebrows, never missing a beat as he says, "Ah. It’s you. A moment." After putting some final touches on a spearhead, quenching it in water, and nodding approvingly after a brief appraisal, he unties his apron and opens the door into the adjoining building. Within a few minutes, VC Smine has set out a simple (but delicious) plate of bread and cheese in a much cooler kitchen, inviting all of you in with a wave. “Forgive me for not asking about your journey. Love the details, but those can wait. I want to discuss a rare opportunity for the Society.” Smine speaks in broken sentences, reminiscent of the staccato clanging of the adjacent forge. He pulls a stack of letters from beneath a false bottom in the kitchen drawer and waves it in his hand. “I received the latest one just yesterday. It’s from the Black Marquis — leader of a band of brigands surreptitiously known as the Pirate Pact.” Knowledge (local) DC 12+ :
You believe the Black Marquis’ real name is Bazzak. Knowledge (local) DC 20:
Yes, Urdul Bazzak the Black Marquis claims a swathe of land along the banks of the Sellen River, north of the tiny hamlet of Deadbridge to the Numerian border. “In all of these missives, he claims to need our help and offers us The Memoirs of the Silver Brotherhood, a rare text — maybe the rarest — in exchange.” “I’m sending you north to Deadbridge, near the Echo Wood to meet this Black Marquis and offer him your help with whatever it is he needs. I want that book, and you’ll get it for me.” Knowledge (geography) DC 12+ :
You recall the Echo Wood holds the infamous Emerald Spire and Thornkeep dungeons. Knowledge (geography) DC 20:
However, those notorious delves are situated in the western end of the Wood. Deadbridge is in the east, far from Hellknights and urban goblins (hopefully). "But first I would hear the names and experience of those I would send – and you may answer me this!" What did the pirate pay for his hook and peg-leg (& the services of the Society?) At this point introductions are in order.
Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail,
Welcome to Perils of the Pirate Pact! It would be great if everyone could supply: Player:
Day Job Roll:
The aftermath of Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng’s Eleventy-First Birthday Celebration still haunts you as you roam the Grand Lodge grounds. It is still debatable which idea was worse: agreeing to drink Master of Blades Marcos Farabellus’ "Snakebite" with pickle juice, or dining on the snake meat that was spicy enough to make a Jalmeri cry. The dragon firework show was worth the midnight wait –– at least, that's what you've been told. Stumbling toward the mess hall, a fresh faced Initiate approaches. She appears unsure how to address you correctly. How long ago has it been since you were in her shoes running trivial errands? The message was brief and to the point –– the Birthday Boy wishes a meeting immediately. More importantly, second breakfast will be served. Turning back toward Skyreach, the five story tower's shadow stretches out over the campus as the sun sets. You are shown quickly to VC Dreng's office. A humble nook with a paper-messed desk and book bowed shelves within a short arm's reach. Six wooden armed chairs fill the remainder of the space. A number of meats and sweets crowd a side-board table jutting out into the hall, along with a decanter of water and a pot of steaming tea. Game starts August 13, but feel free to introduce yourself as the others arrive.
A cool sea breeze accompanies your arrival in exotic Katapesh – the city ruled by the secretive Pactmasters, where anything may be sold and bought under the guidance of the First Vault's Keymaster. On this fine Pharast day, whether you were lunching, studying or practising weapon-craft, an individual with eyes of white requests that you accompany her to the Golarion-famous Farseer Tower, where Venture-Captain Wulessa Yuul will appraise you of another opportunity to be immortalized in the pages of the Pathfinder Chronicles. Game starts March 5, but feel free to dot/ninja dot in!
Whether you’ve been sweltering in the Osirion sands beneath the Pillars of the Sun or freezing your buns ice fishing in the frozen tundra of the Linnorm Kingdoms, you receive a missive from a black-clad ninja whose hachimaki or Minkaian head-scarf bears the Glyph of the Open Road, summoning you to an emergency meeting at the Grand Lodge in Absalom. On arrival in the courtyard lawn under the judging gaze of the statue of Durvin Gest, you stand with dozens of your peers. As you wait for an official announcement you can’t help but overhear a number of rumors circulating among the throng regarding the reason for this gathering … Rumor #1:
A hulking half-orc with THREE(!) falchions slung across his back mutters angrily, “This is gonna be ANOTHER one of those damn social party missions.” *eye roll*
“Ambrus Valsin and Zarta Dralneen are getting married! Right here, later this afternoon. 'Zambrus' have decided to leave the Society … I hear she’s having a baby.” “Venture-Captain Hugo Victor is taking over the Grand Lodge faction and becoming the Ten’s Chamberlain. I spotted him talking to that Hellknight Damian Blakros earlier …” Rumor #2: A hyperactive gnome with singed eyebrows and covered in soot confides, “A Paladin-Seeker of Iomedae named Omrax the Cheeky has challenged the Shadow Lodge’s old ally, the Black Wyrm Zythrustianax to single combat above the skies of Absalom, with the entire city as the stakes!”
“The Ten are wondering if there might be some other Pathfinder here today who is more qualified to represent the city as its Champion …”
Welcome, players to the Season 3 Multi-table PbP Special Blood Under Absalom organized by Shifty. I am looking forward to running this Special for you. Although the game doesn’t start until January 13, I’m opening the Discussion thread so you can check-in and to let you know I have begun prepping the scenario for you. I plan on opening the Game Play thread for dotting in a day or two. In a bit, I will also make some notes about how I like to run my games, but if you have played PbP on the Paizo boards with GMs like Aarvid or Endless Forms, there won’t be any surprises. Please take a moment to sign in >>here<<, so I get your Chronicle out to you you promptly when the game is finished. Feel free to ask any questions here and once again, welcome aboard!
Falling … into darkness. Disorientated. Which way is up? Total absence of control … But wait! Wrapped within the twilight shroud you see a point of light getting closer… closer. The fiery ash-melt transforms into a winged celestial … reaching out to you: Your journey out of darkness has ended, my brothers and sisters. I beseech you now – step into the light! ❂☥❂☥ Your most recent journey through the Hao Jin Tapestry leaves you exhausted, like the priceless Society relic is making you earn your passage from Absalom to Varisia with mental toil. The artifact deposits you in a heap in the noonday shadow of the giant-constructed Irrespan in the Underbridge district of Magnimar, City of Monuments. Kneeling humbly before you is a slim, blond elfin humanoid bearing feathery white wings. His armor, glamered in heatless flame, displays the holy symbol of Sarenrae. A gunmetal ankh of the Silver Crusade faction adorns his neck. As the otherworldly being rises to his feet, he unties a weapon cord attached to a skymetal scimitar bearing the single word Retribution, which is then sheathed on his back, followed by the drawing of a dull-gray mace which takes its sharper brother’s place in the priest’s strong right hand. After binding the weapon to his wrist, the inscription on the replacement weapon is revealed: Redemption “I am Venture-Captain Jander Reiss. You will be the agents I am greater teleporting to the city of Ramparassad, Dtang Ma on orders from the Lantern Lodge.” The glow from the man in the bridge-effected midday eclipse, reveals the venue for your meeting – the courtyard of a shattered temple, once consecrated to the Dawnflower. The sound of a high-pitched ‘parent-child’ type argument can be heard through the open doorway of the ruin. “I don’t know why we’re here, Boffins. We go where the Venture-Captain sends us … Now calm down before you give yourself the *hiccups*” VC Reiss gestures at the broken churchyard. “I must shortly return to my restoration work on Father Vosten’s shrine, but first I would like to get to know you a little better. Who are you? Where are you from? What know you of duty, pain and loss?”
Welcome to your #8-02 Ward Asunder (tier 3-7) to thank the GMs that have run games for me recently. The game is scheduled to begin when I am back from hols on about October 25. If you could please take a moment to complete your details in the spreadsheet at the top of the page, that would help me out. Any questions, just let me know!
“Almost forgot them.” The auburn-haired half-elf polishes a pair of stylish smoked goggles on her green travelling cloak, before tossing them into an overstuffed holdall. She takes a final look out the window at the throng of people partying in the streets of the Foreign Quarter, in celebration of Absalom’s independence from tyranny. As one, locals and visitors alike begin moving towards the Irorium to witness the evening’s biggest event, the annual Passion of the First Siege of Absalom. The woman *sighs* before slinging the bag across her body and heading to the open doorway. What a shame I’m going to miss it ...
