What should I chime in about? Lemme know, I'm feeling a little out of the loop. By the way all, I'm getting married on June 16th and we are going on our honeymoon for 10 days thereafter. Chances are I probably won't be around for those days, but worry not! Maybe you can think of a way to RP me out of the game for those days so everyone can move along without me. Either way. It's been a little crazy finalizing all the crap we've had to do. But I'm still here and I'm not leaving!

Grabbing some dinner, Yolk quietly goes back to his room. DM Awesome: Simply taking his food and going back to his room, Yolk eats by himself. Once finished, he glances over at the stack of books. What have we here, I wonder.
Cast Detect Magic and focus on the books. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Sorry, taltosh informed me to split up my rolls, the rolls i did are listed in the order in which I did them. So my first two rolls would be diplomacy and perception. But I am just basically trying to give myself an edge on the books I'd be researching before I actually do any research

Going to the custodians of the library, Yolk asks them if they can help him gather books related to a man named Nikolai, any associations with archaeological digs and a recovered amulet and finally any information regarding the Grey Novel. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 After he's done talking to the custodians, Yolk casts detect magic and walks around the library while concentrating on detect magic trying to identify magical books and gather them for the purposes of doing research on them. Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 After gathering all of the books and piling them onto a table for everyone to read. He begins the laborious task of researching yet another library. Also I would like to try to get a blessing from Erastil, would I just prey in the temple for a long time or is this even a possibility? Yolk has never been to Magnimar before, Janderhoff is in the east and Magnimar was past Sandpoint headed West.

Coming back from the kitchen, Yolk waves off Arasmes, hurriedly saying, "Bah, nonsense Arasmes! Stay with us the evening, worst thing would be for you to get imprisoned by some vagrant guard with a prejudice." "I saw the way that gate guard was eyeing you. But... if you're determined, at least bring someone along with you, in case you have to come up with an alibi." Yolk nods while speaking, as if very proud of his deductive reasoning. Preening, he sits down, putting his plate on the table. Then he begins rummaging through his backpack, looking for something. Pulling out the flask he sits it on the table near his food. Muttering an incantation and pulling out his holy symbol, Yolk stares at the flask in deep concentration. Casting Detect Magic: Focusing for 3 rounds so I can roll spellcraft to identify its properties (if it is magical) Spellcraft Roll (if it is magical) 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Crap roll!

Yolk scratches his beard vigorously and checks out his newly acquired flask, sitting down at a table, he takes a moment to inspect it. Should I roll something for scrutinizing the flask? "Taltosh, Arasmes, did you see the incredulous look the guard gave you? Wonder whats got him all buggered..." Yolk says, sarcastically. "I could use a meal bout now, I'm gonna go find the kitchen" Yolk says, getting up from the table he scurries out of the room, his stomach grumbles and he clutches his belly as he passes out of sight.

"Suppose I can talk a lil bout myself." Yolk begins. "Well, where to start, I've been cooped up in the temple in Janderhoff mostly all of my life. Once I was ordained a cleric of Torag, I left Janderhoff and begin a pilgrimage." "My strength lies in my ability to protect others, by bolstering their faith in dvinity." "I have certain gifts to help me battle the abominations of the world... however, Arasames seems to defy my teachings. Perhaps that is why I was sent out into the world. Maybe there are some things that books just can't teach."

"seems harmless enough, get yer butt over here!" helps Arasmes fasten his gear A chill runs up Yolks back, remembering back to when his channeling had afflicted Arasmes.
he's an ally, yet... strange. Yolk doesnt know what to make of the dhampir but has never rushed hastily into anything and refuses to rush Judgement on Arasmes.

I want to take the book with me to breakfast, since it's bindings are so loose, I won't be taking it outside of the temple of erastil, but for my groups members sake I want them to see this book. Disheveled, with the cowlicks of his beard and head standing on end, Yolk comes running into the breakfast area clutching an old leather book to his chest. He scarfs down a meager breakfast, his stomach still curdled from the previous days events. Something important was sitting just under their noses.
Putting the book on the table after his breakfast was cleared away, Yolk says, "Gather round everyone. *Cough* Clearing his throat, he continues, "Think I may have found somethin, maybe just enough to help us." Flipping open the page in the book he had face-planted into as sleep took him, Yolk shows them them dateless entry. "Aye, looks like Alastair had been a busy man, up until this Amulet and the man Nikolai. Right here, between the two smudged out words, I read Grey Novel. This might be related ta the amulet, or not. It might be a biography on Nikolai. Although, me thinks it would be a book more on the amulet than this man. Unless this Nikolai is a flamin' noble, then maybe it is a book of his history... Scratching his beard and smoothing his cowlicks he looks into each of your eyes and you can see a glint of excitement in his grey eyes. "Please excuse me, I must go pray, let me know what our plan is after I am done." Yolk bows out and leaves the temple, headed to the back of the temple, he prays to Torag.

Leaving the group, Yolk peruses the temples library, Im not tired, I feel sick to my stomach after going to that farm, what a day... idly looking for a relevant book or parchment, Yolk spends his night looking through the books in the temple. Peering warily at page after page, Yolk slowly drifts to sleep, head on the table, snoring into a book. Rolling perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

From earlier in the game, our options as stood were: Vineyard (Where we are)
There was also a mention of an excavation site where the amulet was found, in a tomb. Maybe we could find the location of that site, maybe we could learn the history of who that tomb belonged to. We could always hit up the Abbey but I think we should learn about the amulet before we go poking around into how Alastair played a role.

As Arasmes is railing off the list of questions, Yolk postulates some questions of his own. After waiting for Arasmes and Adriel to finish, but interjecting just before Bellgrave has the chance to get in anything edgewise Yolk says, "Perhaps we should avoid the immediate choice of going after this murderer, he knew that his acts would reach Angus's ears before too long." "The real question is what is this amulet that's being sought after? Was Alastair in possession of the amulet in the vision? What does it Do... I think we need to do a bit more research before we go after this.. thing." Yolk says, quickly glancing at Arasmes. "I think we need to head to the Capitol. To find out about this amulet, this...thing here simply pointed at Bellgrave's family and workers and they... died, on the spot. He is clearly no trifle and we would be wise not to be led into a trap." Letting his words sink in, Yolk posed confidently and then glanced around passing alternating looks between Bellgrave and his companions, waiting.

He finishes with a gesture toward the zombie, Yolk bows his head slightly and looks away to avoid making eye contact with the farmer.
