About Yikku

Personal Backstory:

Spoiler:
Yikku, like most Jawas, was born on Tattoine, and brought up to be an engineer like his father. However, his life changed one day when his village was attacked by Tusken raiders, who would have killed them all had it not been for a pair of Jedi who were staying there. They killed the Tuskens, but discovered that one of the children was missing: Yikku.
They were about to go on a search, when one of the Jedi heard a voice in his mind, crying for help. It turned out that Yikku had hidden in one of the crates in his home, but had gotten stuck. They got him out, and then told him and his family that he was force sensitive. They offered to take him back to Coruscant to train him in the ways of the Jedi, and his parents reluctantly agreed. Yikku went with the Jedi, and was trained by one of the men who found him, a Mon Calamari named Erith. He was on his way to becoming a Jedi Knight when the Sith returned. They attacked he and his master before they could go into hiding, and Yikku's more cowardly traits sadly reasserted themselves. Yikku fled, leaving his master to die. Ever since, he has felt terribly guilty, but cannot bring himself to confess to his allies, and so he cannot atone.
Personality: Yikku is smart and polite, but acts almost subservient to the others in his group, especially with the Jedi. He sometimes seems distant, deep in thought about something.

Spoiler:

However, he was discovered by Yikku, who needed a bodyguard of some sort. He offered to pay I2's worth to his friends, the Jedi, in exchange for his service. The Magnaguard droid agreed. He knows that the Jawa has something on his conscience, and hopes to get Yikku to tell it to his new friends, so that he can atone.
