What I mean is that it should be archived - but still accessible.

Because I'm really just pitching a b%%!! fit about the old APs being moved to a more obscure spot.

Change is bad. Grognards unite!

If it weighs as much as the Ptolus book those of you who, like me, suffer from arthritis will find the book to be painful to hold for lengthy periods of time. Invest in a laptop desk thingie. Y'know, one of those things that looks like a breakfast in bed tray with a pillow under it.

Level 5: Troll.

Level 10: Troll Lord.

Level 15: Prince of Flaming Elemental Evil.

Since so much debate has arisen over what a jerk is and how badly you have to be a jerk to get biffed, I suggest that we settle this First Edition style: with a chart.

Instead of XP you can get JP. Get enough JP and you "level up" from "noob" to "doofus". Score enough JP and you can achieve the exalted heights of "Ultimate A-hole".

I need some of you other grognards to help me with other level titles.

Ahhh...but you're missing the real gem of this adventure. Any time the PCs start asking inconvenient questions you throw a whole bevy of dragons at them. That'll fix 'em. Darn nosy kids.

How much can be changed in Pathfinder before backwards compatibility is abandoned?

For how many of you would no or little backwards compatibility be a dealbreaker in terms of adopting the PFRPG?

How attractive will PFRPG be to other game developers with a lot of their work invested in 3.5 (as in those who aren't making the jump to 4E)?

How much of Pathfinder do you want to stay "3.5"?

Just some thoughts I've been thinking about a lot.

Assuming Core/OGL rules only, has the fighter indeed become irrelevant or the weakest link in the chain?

I have a wizard player who really squawked when I instituted that rule. Before the rule nothing could get an attack of opportunity because his Concentration was so high. Now, he no longer "flies solo" and depends more on his allies (especially the knight with here ability to control the battlefield around her).

Or you could adopt Monte's AE/BoXM variant for casting defensively: the DC is equal to opponent's attack bonus (minimum 10) + spell level. Thus higher level fighter or whatnot are more difficult to avoid provoking attacks of opportunity from.
