Huh, nothing from Archon for another week, I hope he's OK.
He's posted on his other threads on Sunday, he's starting multiple games at once, I'm sure work must have nabbed him this week, since he's not posted since Sunday...

Mind if I take a trait from the Pathfinder Society guide?
I like how Xayden's Harrowing went, it works perfectly to the conceptual background I had envisioned, Xayden was rescued by Adele and stayed with her helping assist her in the endeavors she undertakes, and it's always full of adventures...
He's in Westcrown, because Adele is in Westcrown...I have been with her since our early levels, which means I can interject reflective stories into the game, like "I swear these are the same goblins we killed back in Riddleport, when that hulking brute of a hobgoblin actually stepped on one of them before I stabbed it in the groin. Remeber the sound it made??"
I could easily take a level in another class to get a few extra SP, but one of the design philophies of Pathfinder was gettign rid of dipping, I pushed for 4+ minimum with my very existance, since I want people in my games to be able to take knowledge skills, skills do not break the game, but a lack of skills can break a storyline...
It can go along with the "I hate 2+int" Skill Classes book I'm going to write. Leaves no room for fun skills like Profession Brewmaster...I wanted him to be an accomplished brewer, so I had to hinder my other skills...hope it doesn't get us killed...
Still trying to figure out WHY Xayden is in Westcrown, it's like an Roman Riddleport...I guess he'd be there to help free slaves...not much of a party town...
Xayden's a brewmaster...Westcrown isn't a dry county is it? I know they don't like adventurers very much...
Profession (brewmaster) is my highest skill bonus, that's my gnomish obsession...it's a +14 and my spellcraft is only a +13...
I will attempt to have it done by Wednesday...
I took scribe scroll, so can I take any of my scrolls at cost?
I was thinking of taking Leadership to get a Griffon Cohort, but I don't see those rules in the book any more...
I toyed with the idea of making Xayden a Mystic Theurge, but dropping to 3rd level spells would be a bit tough, but I was thinking of doing that to have a familiar that could deliver touch healing...
I think I'm going to add a house-rule to my games that Cleric domain spells can be spontaneously cast in addition to heal spells.
I still have work to do on this character, trying to get the time to finish it up...
Don't forget they put the PFRPG Updated Traits up on the Pathfinder resource page. I'm going to try to finish up Xayden this weekend, already selected one trait, now I need to figure out my second.
Xayden is in work, I worked til midnight then deprived myself of some sleep to work on him LoL...now I'm going to dimensional hop off to bed.
(working a full-time real office job, then doing telecomm CAD in the evenings. not to mention, running/playing my PbPs, and designing a my dynamic combat supplement.)
I did have a chance to look at my book for about 15 minutes...enough to know I'm taking the travel domain...since the granted power is 10 ft additional movement. The second domain would be charm, granting some nice domain spells....charm, calm emotions, suggestion, heroism, plus charm monster.
Xayden is a gnome...so he's probably a bit flighty...perhaps Xayden's small stature is what keeps them separated...or his flighty nature...he's not reliable in a relationship...
Perhaps one of them thinks of the other as more of a sibling than as a lover...

I'll read through the Westcrown info in and figure out a reason to be there...
Will do, I usually write more complex backgrounds once I have cemented out my meta-mechanics...where/how I got magic items/ etc. it's a pretty organic creation.
