Wyvrurn howls again and hacks at the beast. Swordsmanship replaced with brute force.
Wyvurn shakes his head and growls. His feral nature coming through, he lopes up beside Jaegr and slashes at the creature.
Wyvurn assesses stands back as the door bursts open.
He grinds his teeth and squeezes his eyes shut as the noise drives away rational thought.
Wyvurn sheds the rest of his charred flesh and lopes up to the door. "I agree, Jaegr, we must keep moving. Any ideas how to get through this door and maintain the element of surprise?"
Wyvurn steps up and attempts to catch the clown between himself and Jaegr. He will then slash into the area where the stench of undeath is the worst.
Kelgan should be up, correct?
Wyvurn will growl, "This abomination cannot escape. You are close Jaegr. No more than five yards up ahead."
Wyvurn will stop trying to call on magic he does not have and assist Jaegar in finding the clown.
I think I messed up with crushing despair. I don't think I have access to it yet. Maybe had it based on an earlier document. Sorry about that. Also, would Serenity apply to spell-like abilities gained from worghest?
Wyvurn dives to the side and avoids most of the blast, the charring he does suffer already sloughing off to be replaced with new flesh, although his looks are not improved in the least. Wyvurn slips through the swirling motes unimpaired growling curses at the clown.

I had been lax as well due to family landing themselves in the ICU. All is well now. Hopefully you are going somewhere nice.
Wyvurn will continue to hack at the hag until she stops moving.
Wyvurn slips through the marshy terrain, taking a wide circuit around and outside of Kelgan's firing lane to come up behind the hag to hack at her savagely, channeling his ki into his swing.
Wyvurn scowls and wades in again for another round of attacks with the frog man.
Wyvurn will swing savagely at the bullywug in front of him. The marshy terrain interfering with his footing causing him to just keep the thing at bay.
Wyvurn will attack the first frogman that comes at him.
Wyvurn springing from root to root and swinging from branch to branch lands in a crouch on a grassy patch next to Caspian and looks in the direction he is pointing. "Or perhaps they have more sinister intentions. Nevertheless, if we can communicate we may be able to pass. I can't see then liking their necromantic neighbor any more than we do but who knows what gods these bog denizens follow."
It was pretty awesome. The only thing I would say we did wrong was try to do too much. The kids wanted to see stone henge so we flew into London and drove out to Wiltshire for a day and then headed up Inverness. Three days in the highlands was perfect and then on to Edinburgh for New Years. An awesome party but not so great if you wanted to see stuff as it was very crowded. Then back to London for a night before we flew back. One more day in Edinburgh would have been nice but we'll have it for next time. Refined my whiskey palate a bit and learned about the family clans which by a stroke of luck happened to be right around Inverness--although the head of the clan died just a few years ago without naming any heirs so the family castle was bought by Bass Ale. Oh well.
Hey all, I am going out of town for a couple weeks and posting will be spotty to non-existent after the 26th. Kirth - We are going to Scotland instead of Iceland but thanks for the advice. Its a trip the wife and I will take in the future.

Wyvurn rolls to his feat snarling. The feral transformation that the hobgoblin has undergone is unsettling among the troops. But as the manticore flies off, he straightens himself and looks at his clawed hands. Immediately he looks a little embarrassed, not really knowing what to do with his hands, nervously placing them at his sides and then behind his back.
Wyvurn tracks the winged lions movements as after it releases its barbs and with a burst of speed bounds off of Kelgan's shield to a nearby scrub pine and then off the tree in an attempt to tackle the manticore and bring it down out of the air. Spending a ki point to enhance his leaping ability.
In three quick fluid movements, Wyvurn returns fire on the winged lion. (taking 10 on sleight of hand)
Wyvurn listens to the whole conversation intently. When Kelgan strides off, the hobgoblin catches up to him and in a low voice says, "Can we trust them at our backs Kelgan? If we should succeed in this, we'll most likely be severely weakened if not crippled to the point where we cannot defend ourselves against an opportunistic Golvetto."

Ok, that makes sense. I completely missed the crafting piece and did not fully understand the scaling. Sorry about that. Wyvurn had a +2 Str masterwork composite longbow. Let's say when he tackled Otis into the river he lost it. That frees up 600 numen. With that I'd like to go with the following: 9000 par for level 5 - 5400 level 4 + 600 lost bow = 4000 numen to work with. That will cover a practiced sneak attack of one level at 2000 and the racial heritage upgrade at 2000. I'll drop the armor enhancement and drop my floating by 100 (instead of increasing it by 100 as I stated previously) and pick up another non-masterwork composite longbow if they have one available. That puts me right at 9000.
Arggh..was trying to edit the post. If possible, I'd like to exceed par and have my worg-skin armor grow in power and grant the Racial Heritage feat. I'd pick Stealthy, which seems like gaming the system since its cheaper than buying a skill bonus. Total numen with this = 10500.

Would worghest levels provide synergy with bloodline abilities from bloodline disciple since its not technically sorcerer? I am going to go with goblin paragon 2 and stay the path. I can take practiced bloodline later if needed to make up for the paragon levels if/when I take the bloodline disciple sutra. My feat will be versatile unarmed strike. Wyvurn becomes a lot more feral this level and its starting to show. Wyvurn would like to take the drake eye preserved in spirits and pierce it with one of the tusks from the boar. He will then take just enough of the spirits to mix with some resin and lacquer the eye and tusk. When it's dry, he will tie it around his neck with a leather thong, drink the rest of the spirits in one long pull, and offer a short prayer to Nomog-Geaya. When this is complete, he's hoping that 2000 was invested to grant him the practiced sneak attack feat. He'd also like to find a leather worker to incorporate some drake scales as studs and add some boar hide padding around the vitals essentially giving it an enhancement bonus of +1. These two things and upping my floating inventory to 500 puts me at 8500 numen. Close enough for government work.
To Fenrit: Spoiler: "No offense taken, Count. My errand, as you put it, is of self-discovery and inner reflection. I will wander the land until I can come to terms with what I am. Am I the monster that I appear or something more? Something better? I feel it is the latter, but who knows, maybe I will regress, maybe not...

What resides at Skarn Keep must be stopped because it is wrong. We are of like minds on this so I will fight by your side and with your men. You need not pay me. Full citizenship is much appreciated and I thank you for it, but I suspect that once this is over, I will continue my journey."
I'll have things updated by Nov. 3rd as well. I had a some questions on the interaction of unarmed strikes and the worghest gaining claws, but then I realized that I could accomplish the same thing by just taking the bloodline disciple monk sutra for the goblin bloodline. Would worghest levels provide synergy with bloodline abilities from bloodline disciple since its not technically sorcerer? How about goblin paragon? If no (and maybe even if yes), could Wyvurn meditate on the abilities his fiendish blood is granting him and work to incorporate them into his mystical ki abilities--in essence trading in his paragon and worghest levels for monk levels with the bloodline disciple: goblin sutra? I have some more questions on items but they might be dependent on the answers above. To some of the questions posted above: Jaegr: I would pick B too

Wyvurn will move into a position so that Otis is directly between him and the river trying to remain unnoticed by the vampire.
He will then lower his shoulder and charge.
Gritting his teeth and summoning everything he has to keep his legs pumping and drive himself and Otis into the river. = 32 total Hopefully avoiding the entangling plants along the way.
If Wyvurn is still unseen, he will attempt to put an arrow through the heart of Otis.
Wyvurn will use accelerated movement to move and full speed towards the river and try to remain hidden. He will also actively look at where the arrows are coming from to see if he can get a glimpse of the shooter.
Wyvurn will unsling his bow and attempt to use the smoke and foliage to get out of sight of the sniper. He'll hold still and attempt to pinpoint where the sniper is.
Wyvurn will gently pull Cricket up from his knees and draw him aside. "I feel for your loss, my friend.... Much quieter, "The best thing we can do for them is to destroy this monster. See if Wolvie can pick up a scent on the body so that we can perhaps track it to its lair and drag it into the light of day."
Wyvurn will do what he can (once he awakes) to help fix/get rid of the wreckage caused by the battle.
"If it's Otis or his like we fear will be after us, I say we set off now while it is still dark and sleep from dawn until mid-afternoon and then travel again. That way we will be alert when the vampires are active."
Wyvurn agrees with Jaegr. "A brief rest would be in order, but I'm for moving on as well." He then pulls the wand he took from the elf and hands it to Caspian. "You or Miralda may have some use for this. Hopefully I did not damage it when I stabbed that idiot in the face."
Wyvurn wades in, ignoring the flames, and hacks viciously at Obmi.
Wyvurn, realizing that Cricket has things well in hand, springs off of the landing and into the fray with the dwarves.
Annoyed by the gnome, Wyvurn draws his sword and attempts to chop him in half channeling his ki into the blow.
