No one else wants to post? Hmm...

Wren clucks, taking the book back from Brodur after she is done cleaning.

"Well, it's late now, but I can spare some time to read to you if you'd like, Brodur," Wren says gently.

If Brodur acquiesces, Wren will read for about 1/2 hour before making her excuses and going to bed. It was likely that she would have another long day on the morrow.

Wren will return to her room, sleep, study, and meet the party in the morning.

Wren bustles into Brodur's room like she's been friends with him their entire lives.

"Oh yes, Brodur," Wren begins to gab while offering up the book, "we are most definitely friends. We found this while we were searching your home. We thought you might like it. Wren launches into what they've done since she joined the team. When she finally pauses for breath, she looks to see if Brodur has any questions or can think of anything else to help them.

If and while he speaks, Wren will draw a long peacock's feather from her armor and begin making brushing movements about the cell, Brodur, and herself, cleaning with Prestidigitation. She will also create the smell of fresh air, flowers, and, of course, morning dew.

Wren walks her way around the hill, looking for anything out of the extraordinary while the rest focus on the ordinary scarecrow.

Is there any part of the hill where the birds decidedly avoid?

Wren holds up her hand, pausing the group for a moment.

"If you give me a moment," Wren asks, pulling out a book and opening up to a well marked page, "I'll prepare a spell to deal with this beast."

Wren puts her book away and draws her wand of acid arrow, her other hand is free. She indicates she is ready to move on.

"It would surprise me if the birds tolerated the undeath that is the wraith. They would not likely sup together, but I could be wrong."

The loud talkative elf does not take to the point well as she slows to a crawl when in the lead, looking for others to talk to at. If made to walk point, she walks slowly speaking over her shoulder.

Why would I want one of those feathers? Wren wonders as Kawrock's proximity allows her a good look. Those dishevelled things are more like vericose veins than feathers...not suitable for much. Does he even preen himself properly?

Wren holds her tongue as the tengu works to free her.

"Thank you all for coming to my rescue! I'm so glad to have such good friends around to help! I remember my other good friends...blahblahblah...the green frog seemed to be the leader...blahblahblah...croaked twice...blahblahblah...a fat pig he was attracted...blahblahblah...talking blue flumph with a thing...blahblahblah...juggling chickens...blahblahblah...and the dogfolk who talked...blahblahblah...and don't get me started on the bear we met."

Wren's tongue waggles as the party moves forth, her leg barely limping.

Wren thinks to go examine the graveyard first, but if others have notes that they have to read, she would listen to other plans.

"Plumie is my bird...my good friend who seems to be missing at the moment," Wren answers Arval, assuming Plume went to find help.

Wren thrashes a bit, trying to 'help', but mostly makes things worse.

"SQUAWK!!! PLUMIE!! GET HELP!!!!" Wren begins to howl and whine, stunned and shocked by the sudden attack. Plume, her invisible, incorporeal, and non-existent bird companion, fails to go get any help.

Wren looks from new face to new face to see if any can help.

Wren looks around at the party.

"Oh, poor Stitches, I feel so badly that he is sitting alone, probably worried about what happened to him. We should continue on, day or night, with our search," Wren suggests.

"I would want to go explore the town," Wren says as she begins to walk that way.

Wren shuffles over to examine the area where the wraithling stood.

"Oh, Arval, that was some nice swordwork. It reminds me of this one time where...blahblah...two different coconuts...blahblah...and she didn't want to undress...blahblah...half an hour later...blahblah...still undressed...blahblah...and that's why you don't sleep with cabbages."

"How about I use an arrow on it to make sure it's dead, instead?" Wren cuts in.

Wren gives a furious look to the captain, a seething betrayal of his elven calm. He leaves, going back to where the girallon was being held to see what else might be in cargo.

Chains? Cage? Nylon ties? How was it being held? Any food/drugs around?
