Master / Slave relationship and the oriental female is wearing a dog collar.
Old habits are hard to break.

Indeed - one of the good things about working with numerous ex-sailors. There is always coffee!
F-ing T-Mobile!!!
Also if you yell at a young girl who is serving you until you make her cry, you are not a real man.
Or they could just play a cleric and not use armor or weapons...
Werewolves of London is an awesome song.
Mine now recognizes the word "zombiepocalypse".
Well, I have big news. I've been holding off on posting anything because this is my name and all, but I have officially resigned my current position in order to join a new company in two weeks' time.
It's been a stressful week and a half, but all in all I am pleased. I like the new position, I think I have more room to move up in the new place, and the dress code is JEANS EVERY DAY (a client's not there, anyway...).
A week and a half is a quick job search - though it's been crazy hectic.
So I wanted to post a little celebration, and I wanted to wish all my fellow FAWTLIES who are in the job market good luck in finding something fawesome!

Better than The Shadow by any means. The SHADOW?
Wait, wrong Shadow...

I sure that will go over well right? Or get Joss Whedon to wear a tshirt that says he loves Freehold DM :D

We really need to get out like that more often, I never realized how stressed I was until I got a chance to relax.
Celestial Healer wrote: Morning, all. What did I miss? Well, Jess' professed despair at missing the chance to inflict fatal wounds on her friends prompted several co-workers to become concerned for their safety. Meanwhile, during a booze-fueld rampage, Derek lost control and severely beat a Confucius impersonator performing a one-man show in the park. And, across town, an attempt to start a cult dedicated to a local douchebag backfired when.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!
It's coffee time.
Five Guys rocks!!! That is all.
Urizen wrote: Solnes wrote: Hubby is aggrivating sometimes. So anti-social I'm not supposed to talk about other people... ??!! I'm thinking that he needs to find something to do with 'the boys'. However, I know the reality of the situation is that he doesn't have much in a way of a select group of friends that he'd choose to do that with.
Another reason why I think a change of scenery to a new locale would do good for you guys. I know I like a lot of my alone time, but even I get out now and then to do something. It usually coincides with an event and there's like-minded people going, so that's the compromise.
Sometimes, you're probably going to have to force hubby kicking and screaming out the door to go do something while you keep the kids company. I think he uses that as an excuse. ;-) lol, he was mostly joking, but yeah, he hs no friends here. Moving will be good for him.
Nekkid and looking good!!! :D
I know this is Mike's moment, but I also know he is a magnanimous badger...
Big congrats go out to Tom, Steve, and James too!!! We also eagerly await your Pathfinder Society scenarios and more freelancing projects from you all (Paizo and/or 3pp)!
The name of the module isn't in flux... I've been a fan of the title from the start, so it's got no fear of being changed, now that I've decided I actually do like the adventure being set in Dustpawn... ;-P
ALSO:
Congrats, Mike! :-)
Paris!!! Once again I thank you for the suggestion of Hero Lab! Finally got my copy up and running last night. That thing is FAWESOME!
Of course, I also upgraded it with a bunch of Pathfinder stuff, so my wallet is not thanking you.

With these consoles 1-2 years away from launch, I won't believe anything until Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo offically launch their products. You know what is going to suck? If the new business model is completely digital, prices won't drop.
Just returned form Irving and seeing my Father (87), Son (39), and Grandson (13) for first time in 8 years. Good trip. Four generations of Baker men in same place.
For those of you interested, I will be at the bookstore signing books on Saturday. At least, until security throws me out. :D

The hybrids are still out there causing problems and the Emissary is still on its way to the planet. You're right. In fact, it could make matters worse, because more of the hybrids would survive if the spaceship doesn't crash. If they come out of stasis, you could have wizard/snakes, wizard/lizards, wizard/weasels, and any other creatures wandering around. It's the wizard/badgers you got to really keep your eye out for. ;)
Or maybe it's just those dreams of sunken R'lyeh I've been having.

1. T-Dog had a line! Go T-Dog.
2. All this virus stuff is a red herring. Everyone knows that the dead are rising because Hell is full.
3. Always have a third point.
I'll set pre-orders as soonas its all written...probably early May? Still shooting for a August release.
I can't set a price point until I get a printer quote (basically a page count)--I can tell you it will have a leather-like cover and will look like a bible...stitch bound of course, silk bookmark.
Small update the Second:
Scramge got a nice overhaul, thanks to the Bestiary 3. His encounter almost makes game-sense now. Don't believe anything you see!
RA makes liberal use of all the Bestiaries (I love gugs), Ultimate Magic and Ultimate Combat, the APG, and of course Tome of Horrors Complete. If you do not own these books, you can gain any of the info online, and if you dont't do online stuff....how are you reading this????
Seriously, we tried to draw from the many excellent sources Paizo has given us over the years, and incorporating good, new ideas with our good, old ideas. i think we have created a great mix of old and new.

PS DO NOT GO DOWN THE WELL!!!
PSS Never, EVER, go in the water in or around a dungeon. Just dont go in water at all. Don't you people watch River Monsters????
Why would they waste money on another brand when their own is doing so well?
You don't want higher standards, you can stow that bull. You just want to hold people who disagree with your worldview to a higher standard. Pretty much makes you no different than anyone else, really. If you ACTUALLY wanted higher standards, you'd tell people who post vitriolic crap you agree with they were being douches as well.
Get over yourself.

Leo_Negri wrote: Regardless of how large a percentage of the proceeds are going to the Gygax Memorial, it's a classy move by WotC, something we haven't seen from them in a long time. Is it a PR move, yes. Are they doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, probably. But even though this will probably never see any use by me, I for one am buying it. (If nothing else, it will let me replace my badly, badly, as in held together with Duct-tape, worn copies.)
So for the first time in a long time, Kudos to Wizards of the Coast.
Ditto.
However, for those like me both leery of "a portion" and who already have too many copies of these books, I suggest donating directly to the Gary Gygax Memorial Fund.
I much prefer the original cover. This one just looks bland and boring...

I went in Wed, got my stuffs, went to pay. Kid is all smiles, rings me up, and then.. He... He..

Ugh, this whole gonna be 30 in Aug thing is starting to really get to me. :(
30... really? 30 is a tragedy of some sort? No sympathy from me, love.
40 and lovin life. Yeah Really! I don't like it, I don't have to like it. You can't make me like it. :P
Hope everyone is well this morning.
Wolfy, congrats on your own page! :)

I'll get the rope. good god! How could he mess that one up! One's new york, the other wishes it was. ;) Nah, you're thinking of Dallas. Trust me, Houston is happy being what it is. If it thought it was New York, I'd live somewhere else ;-)
First preliminary application sent to Cypress Creek Pest Control in Houston.

How on earth did this thread get to 42,000 posts already? They grow so fast!

Afternoon all!
On the subject of moving, it seems clan Curtin will be relocating within a year or two when my wife gets promoted. I always thought I would miss living in Massachusetts , but more and more I am beginning to loathe this state. I'll miss the beach, but I'll settle for somewhere not so buck ass insane
*blink*
I keep hearing good things about Houston.

Happy birthday, Mikey!

That was quite the lesson, especially knowing I couldn't respond to any of the comments.
Neil, thank you for the constructive criticism. Once again, I went too far with my entry by globalizing it. My original thought was to just tie the Alliance to Kaer Maga, and I should have stuck with that. Coincidentally, by globalizing my organization, I limited myself in terms of space to describe the con angle more fully.
Clark, I apologize if this came across as a joke to you. I attribute that as a failure on my part to convey my idea properly. Actually, I meant for the name to be disarming, but I took it a little too far.
Sean and Ryan, I can only apologize to you as well. If I make it to the next round, I intend to redeem myself with my monster.
Patrick, Solnes, Crimson Jester, Mothman, Abraham Spalding, Spanky, Craig, Aberzombie, Ambrosia Slaad, Sinosaur, Tels, Light Dragon, BigNorseWolf, Caedwyr, Marv, Mr. Swagger, Oceanshieldwolf, poizen37, Aspertix, Adam Donald, Saint Trickery, Sebastian, Cassey, Wolfthulhu, Icyshadow, Mikaze, Urizen, Celestial Healer, Gruumash, and Nathan, thank you very much for your support of my organization, even if you didn't vote for it. Several of you dissected the organization thoroughly, and I could tell it resonated with you. I know I could have done a much better job exploring important aspects of the organization, and I hope you like my monster submission.
Darkjoy and Luthia, I'm glad I ended up getting your votes, and I hope to earn them next round, assuming I make it through.
OwlbearRepublic and Standback, thank you very much for the advice. Obviously, this resonated with you in a negative way, but I appreciate you stopping in to present a thorough breakdown of how I could have done better. I truly believe that just seeing "good reviews" does nothing to help one grow as a writer.
Thanks again, everyone! The Monster Reformation Alliance got a lot of discussion. To think I was worried about voters perceiving this as too boring... :)
