All it says on the map is Dragon 2003. I can't find out any more information than that. Anybody out there know which issue it was from?

Save these for PaizoCon UK: We now have a provisional selection of adventures that will run at PaizoCon UK. Among them are the hottest releases available for July. Paizo doesn't publish new adventures in June so we will also need to use a few earlier adventures. If you have booked a place then you will want to avoid playing these beforehand. You can't play them twice!

Must admit that I have found UK Games Expo more awkward to sort out this year from a GMing prespective. Partially it's because I've had limited internet access but also their systems don't seem to be running smoothly.

My apologies to everyone who can't make it (Wellard, see you at PaizoCon UK I hope) or who couldn't get as many games as they wanted. I hope we can maybe sort something out at the event itself.

We are not quite ready for an official announcement of our Grand Plans for Saturday evening but I promise it will be something special.

Unfortunately, no. It's at the same time as Finncon 2012, a local science fiction convention that has engaged my services as someone who knows which end of the microphone to talk to and serves as a small but important source of study credit for me.

Since I actually have vacation, my summers tend to be frightfully busy, but I'll see what I can do next year. I would be honoured to have my brain sucked out by Mr Pett.

Hi, I am based in North London and am hoping to join a local pathfinder game? Can you recommend anything?

I have played DandD awhile and have quite a lot of Dming experience and hope to set up my own small group one day but would really like to get to grips with the pathfinder system as a player.

Any help appreciated.

Best way to contact me is via paizoconuk@hotmail.com and let me know whereabouts in North London you are. There are a couple of threads for UK players and London players on these boards and on the UK Roleplayers website that may be worth a look.

Also, starting up PFS play in an urban area with at least a few game stores is much easier than most people think. I asked the same question about this time last year, and there were none in Toronto.

Since then (and I suspect largely because I asked) we've grown to ~6 tables a week across two locations, and I've been made Venture Lieutenant.

If you've got the interest and about an hour of spare time (on top of what you want to spend playing or GMing) you can try to get a game started yourself. Any of the Venture-Officers would be happy to help you (Though David, as the closest geographically, is probably the logical choice.)

Yes, I'm certainly happy to help in any way I can.

I know that game stores are few and far between this side of the Atlantic (there's only a few in London, for instance) and they seldom have enough space to allow for gaming but there are pubs, halls, etc that can be used.

While I'm the V-C for the UK I don't have much knowledge of things in Ireland but might be able to get some info/contacts for you.

Now about those connections, whats the difference between Coach (bus?) and Train? I think we have EasyJet connection going straight to London and I wonder whats the best way (cheapest) to get to Birmingham?

Coach (bus) is usually cheaper but the train is a lot easier.

Which London airport will you be arriving at?

I think you are more likely to get lower level and starting characters at the Games Expo. Tide of Twilight would work well.

Frankly most Europeans speak better English than some English people I know.

I was hoping to bring my son down to play as we did Pathfinder last year. We would obviously like to play on the same table and only have a 3rd and 1st level characters, so we're limited on the scenarios we can play.

There are other GMs and other games that we want to run. At present there's a limit as to the space we have. The Expo team are working on it. If I haven't heard anything back from them by the end of this week I will start prodding them. I certainly intend to be running more (low level) scenarios.

Yea, I could make a "tour" of it. :P Maybe we could get a group of the US VO's out there.

Hopefully we'll have all the European Venture Captains and Lieutenants at PaizoCon UK so that we can try and organise some more international gaming.

I have asked them to try and get some more space arranged. Hopefully will get something sorted in the next few weeks. They've been overwhelmed by the amount of Pathfinder to be honest.

There are more PFS games submitted but they are currently looking at re-arranging to get more space. If there is interest I can run some older scenarios, the other 2 parts of that 3 parter, etc.

Games Expo are actually running out of space, which is why there's been such a delay in approving games. There's definitely the demand there so people will be signing up.

One mod at a time is rocketing along compared to the rest of us. I still haven't had anything approved. (They must be doing extensive background checks on each GM!)

This sucks.

I have problems with their system from an organiser point of view and a player point of view. It may be that we have to work things out ourselves within their system so do not despair!

I wouldn't worry about the hands. Jut run them cinematically.
Legitimate concerns about the statues though. Remember that for some objects:
Vulnerability to Certain Attacks: Certain attacks are especially successful against some objects. In such cases, attacks deal double their normal damage and may ignore the object's hardness.

So perhaps be generous about certain attacks/energy types. Otherwise they are just too much for a 1st level party.

Hotels booked for both PaizoconUK and Games Expo...bank transfer made to Paizocon account.now all I need is Games Expo to set up the online booking and I'll be fully set.

Which I believe will happen early April.

Any chance of getting forum nicknames on the name badges (purely optional, of course)? It would help me connect avatars with faces, so to speak.

If you provide them on your booking form then we should be able to manage that.

If it fits with the schedule of last year, there will be a 9-2 session and a 3-8 session, plus the special Saturday Evening.

Yep, that's probably how it will be.

Saturday: 9-2, 3-8, 8-12
Sunday: 9-2, 3-8

But individual GMs may choose to have a shorter break in order to finish earlier on the Sunday if people have to be off.
