Greetings, I placed this order some time ago and have yet to hear anything about it. When I placed the order all of the items were available. Can I get an update please. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day.

Greetings,
I am looking into Mouse Guard as a possible RPG to play with older children ages 10 to 15 at a school where I work. I am inspired to do this because of my own love for the Redwall books and because I have read in a review that Mouse Guard really encourages teamwork and cooperation. However, I have a few questions about how the game plays.
1, Just how simple are the rules? Does a person need to read the whole book before playing or could I explain it to the child as play progresses?
2, How important is a table top map to the game? Could it be played without a grid map and miniatures? The children have visual impairments so this may be something of a hindrance if precise movement of figures is required.
3, What dice are used? I heard that it was only d6's.
4, Is it possible to create adventures that mimic the Redwall books style or is the style very different? Is there magic?
5, Just how pronounced is the teamwork in the game? The more the better. I'd like a game where combat is not the focus. instead I want problem solving and critical thinking skills. That will help me sell the idea to parents and my supervisor.
If someone could help me out with these questions that would be great. I noticed that the book itself is on back order on Paizo. It is still being published right?
As a side note, how would the game work in a PBP format?
Greetings,
I am sorry to say that upon returning from my Christmas vacation I discovered that the book had been left on the front porch during a rainstorm. I guess the person I had watching out for it was late in picking it up. Either way the book is soaked and has wrinkled and crinkled to the point of being slightly discolored and nearly falling apart. I would be happy to send the book back to you as proof. Is there a chance of getting a fresh copy please?
Also, on a different note, I have recently encountered an English company called Spartan Games that creates a game called Firestorm Armada, among other great games. Firestorm Armada is a very interesting looking game that I would love to be involved in. I have noticed that other American web stores carry Spartan Games' products, but I hesitate to purchase from a company I haven’t used before. Is there a chance that Paizo could carry Firestorm Armada?
Here is the website if you haven’t seen it before.

Greetings,
This is a character of mine that I made for a game that never got started. I've converted him to the Pathfinder system and would like to try and play him here on the boards. I would prefer to play the Rise of the Runelords, or at least Burn Offerings, with this character.
A note, he is a Half Ogre, which is normally a +2 LA, but it is my feeling that the bonuses granted by this template, coupled with its downfalls and the role playing challenges presented by it, serve to make it a +1 at best. I have never found this kind of a character to be overpowered, rather it appears to be underpowered when compared to a lot of other +2 LA races. Still, I would happily agree to needing to 'buy off' the level adjustment before gaining any further levels if that is what a GM would prefer.
I just want to play this character because it is a concept that I have loved ever since my 2nd ed days, yet it is very difficult to find people willing to allow such a character.
I am a role play heavy poster who loves interaction just as much, if not more than, combat and would happily spend a long time simply interacting with other characters and NPCs. I am going to try and post every day, job permitting. However, I'm not perfect and I make mistakes.
Feel free to read Gerod's character sheet and his background. If a potential DM has further questions please let me know.
I'm curious, is there a possibility of ordering some stuff from the Specialist Games range by Games Workshop from Paizo. I know it isn't in the current line up, but I'm wanting to passably place an order for some Battlefleet Gothic ship miniatures and I'm curious if I can order them through Paizo instead of directly from GW. No special reason for this, just wanting to support my favorite gaming store. Not a big deal if it isn't possible, I'm just curious.
As a slightly different take on the character journal theme I'm going to post here letters written by my character Jereth. There is no real attempt at order, but instead they will reflect his own mind and how often he is able to write. I hope that you enjoy.
Greetings, Just letting everyone know that we are nearing the date of the second meeting of the Pathfinder Society in Fremont. So far the plan is to meet on the 13th at the local HobbyTown USA at Noon and then play to around six or seven.
So, I'm looking for a head-count of who out of those in the group plans on being there, as well as if anyone else wants to DM this time. Please respond here instead of E-Mail if you can so we can keep the information centralized.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and yes I plan on being there if we can get at least four others attending, and I'll DM if nobody else wants to.
Greetings,
Well, the big one arrived and it is awesome. Thanks for getting it to me so quickly. There is one blight though. Order number 994991 was shipped on the 18th of July. It has not arrived as of the 8th of August. Any chance someone over there can use their shipping-fu to figure out what happened? No tracking number on this end.

These are two different games that I have found which seem interesting. I've gone and read all of the information on the main websites of these two games, but I find myself hungry for more.
Squadron Strike,
This is based on the game Attack Vector Tactical also by Ad Astra. Has anyone played that game? Any thoughts about it? Anyone involved in playtesting Squadron Strike? How does it play? I'm thinking of using it to turn the game Battlefleet Gothic into a 3D combat game. Anyone know if this is feasible? I saw on the website that they did Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek conversions that looked pretty good so I have some hope.
WARMACHINE
I'm interested in this game, but finding it difficult to get a handle on the different factions. I can't find anything more than the paragraph or two on the main website. I would like to learn more about the different factions to see if any one of them strikes me as really interesting without needing to buy the book.
Any help or advice would be most welcome.
Ravenloft; The Hyskosa Scroll
Part One: A Gathering
Strange, mists don’t usually gather inside a sewer pipe, even one so large as this. Then again, it is early morning, or was the last time Carthan looked up at the sky. Running through the large sewer pips is hard work, especially with the town watch and a bunch of hired thugs after him. A simple mis-step, that damned morning mist was obscuring the very ground at his feet, plunges the elf’s boot into cold sludge what is gathering at the bottom of the huge pipe.
Then the passage he is moving through seems to widen slightly, and dim shadows suggest that there are several pipes branching out from the central one. The hazy flickering light of a torch can be seen up ahead. Have they entered the pipe at the other end? A quick look down the side pipes reveals little, again that damned mist. Still, one pipe holds the dim promise of daylight at its’ end, while the other seems to simply descend into darkness.
(OOC: Carthan, your cue.)
Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. Good? Bad?
I find myself wanting to collect a few of the more interesting modules of the past. This one has recently come up and I wanted to sound out with those here.
Is it worth tracking down and paying for?
Is it a good module or just a large one?
How does it stick up against the original?
Is it easy to run, or does it require a lot of work ahead of time?
Any input would be appreciated.

Ravenloft; The Hyskosa Scroll Table Top Chat
The wester tide crept up along the sand,
and o’er and o’er the sand,
and round and round the sand,
as far as the eye could see.
The rolling mist came down and hid the land;
And never home came she.

Welcome to the Table Top Chat thread. This is where we can discuss anything game related but out of character. For now I’d like to concentrate on finishing up the characters. Once the characters begin being finished I will start the story. I am very excited about this game. I look forward to seeing where it goes.
Pinky, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
I think so brain, but...

Ravenloft, a land of mists and shadows and half-whispered stories.
Ravenloft, a place where heroes are tested, and often fail.
Ravenloft, an idea born in the mists of time and brought to life by the darkness of the hearts of Man.
Ravenloft, your new home.
Greetings, I’m looking for a gathering of players interested in playing through the Ravenloft Module Night of the Walking Dead using the Pathfinder Alpha rules. I’m going to use this as a test to see how easy conversion is, as well as a chance to run a great module. Once this module is finished the option may be given to continue on to the second in the series of six. Who knows, we may get through all six and face the Grand Conjunction itself.
Character generation,

Game Idea
Each character will start out outside of the Realm of Dread and on their own, or you can team up with one other character if you like. Then the characters will be drawn, unknowingly into Ravenloft. That is where the fun begins. For this game I’m going for a more Low Fantasy feel so there won't be a lot of magic items or other such things floating around.
I am looking for four players, and it isn’t necessarily first come first served. I’m looking for interesting character ideas and compelling story hooks that I can use to flesh out the game around you.
Please also note that this game will not be making much use of maps. I’m hoping to keep things on a description only basis to keep the tension going.
My intention is that this game will be heavy on character interaction as well as fostering relationships with NPCs. I'm modifying the module itself to fit this style as well as the low magic feeling that I am going for.
When I first bought this game I was high off of Diablo and Diablo II. Because of that I probably didn't give it a fare shake. Now over the past few days I booted it up again and have found myself rather enjoying it. The replay value is low, but better then Dungeon Siege.
I find myself really liking the character creation options, although I wish they had more options for hair style and color, not to mention clothing. Still, there is a certain joy that can be found watching a half orc fighter in half-plate and wielding a greatsword Great-Cleave through a row of enemies.
Has anybody else played this game? What do you think about it? And no, I couldn't find a better forum for this so stuck it under OGL since the game runs on 3.0 rules.
Greetings, I placed this order back on the 16 and was told that it would ship out in no longer than 6 days. Have I missed something? Is there a problem of some kind? Please let me know.
I've been fiddling around with this RPG for a while now and it is really interesting. Its' a little hard to find print copies now, but the Quickstart rules are available for free.
Essentially, it is a nearly classless system that relies on story based character advancement. Combat is very tactical and often quite quick and brutal. I find it be be a lot of fun, but a little add at first.
Anyway, here is a link to the publisher. Things seem to be moving slowly here, some family difficulties that haven't been detailed.
The Riddle of Steel.
And here is a link to a forum made for it that is working hard to keep the game going.
TRoSFans.
Personally, I would love it if Paizo would try and contact this publisher and try to work out a way to sell PDFs of their books. This is a great system, and I'd like to see it continue to grow.
I just wanted to let you know that Order 964032 arrived today and everything is in perfect condition. Sometimes it is easy to let it slip by when people do things right and only comment when they get something wrong. Please allow me this opportunity to say that everything worked out great and I love it all.
Thank you.
Hmmm, I'm trying to work out a schedule for ordering this thing. I'm moving soon so I'm wondering if I should go ahead and order it now or wait and have it sent to the new address. Does anyone know what day of the month these usually come out? I hear that this one has a "Get You By" army list for Warriors of Chaos.
Greetings, I just received this package and was going through it. I opened the blister Templar Knight when I noticed that the large two handed sword the figure was holding was bent at a 90 degree angle to where it should have been. Thinking that this was simply a problem with packaging I started to gently bend it back into place when the blade broke completely off at the hilt.
I still have the blister. Could I please send this miniature back along with a copy of the order summery and receive a replacement? If I can is there a special note I should include with the package or address I should send it to?
I am running Curse of the Crimson Throne as a Play by Post game on RPoL.net and I find myself wanting to show off some of the great artwork that has been commissioned for Paizo. My thought is that I could post a link in the game thread that would send my players to the image itself. Then have a note saying where the image came from.
Would this be acceptable?
I downloaded this off of the Wizards website several years ago, but haven't run it yet. Is there anyone out there who has run or played through this module? Is it still as deadly and fun as the earlier version?
What are the chances of setting it up so that I can pay for purchases and/or subscriptions through PayPal?

I’ve been thinking a bit about ways to improve 3.5 and creating my own version of 3.75. My main concern has been combat. The thought process I use is that making combat faster requires eliminating large numbers of multiple attacks, and making the fewer attacks do more damage and be more threatening.
The following are some house-rules I’m working on for my current campaign.
1, Weapon Specialization doesn’t simply add +2 to damage, but instead increases the weapons damage by one die category, as if the weapon was make for a creature one size category larger then the base weapon. This reflects a person’s detailed study of the weapon and ways to get the best performance possible out of it.
2, Lowering the massive damage threshold from 50 pts to 20, although I’m also thinking about 30 if 20 proves to be too low. A 1st level Fighter with a Str of 15 and wielding a Longsword would only be able to get a 20 on damage if he/she rolled the maximum on weapon damage. Still, this makes even a 1st level character deadly in an extreme case and should help keep the fear in combat so that even higher level characters might want to seek another solution before drawing weapons.
3, My current campaign doesn’t allow characters to advance further than 6th level. I’ve added an ability to still get more feats so advancement doesn’t totally stop. The effect of this is that even fighters don’t get more then two attacks a round, unless they use two-weapon fighting in which case they don’t get more then four. I’m considering adding in more feats that will allow a fighter or barbarian, the classes that really lose out with this change, the option of simply increasing weapon damage. Maybe opening up weapon specialization to the Barbarian and then allowing the feat to be taken multiple times for the same weapon with the effects stacking.
Another effect of this is magic, I’m hoping that this will avoid the more campaign destabilizing spells, like Wish, and relegate those spells to really powerful magic items. Aladdin’s Lamp for instance.
However, should people like advancement beyond 6th level, and therefore access to prestige classes, why not simply keep the attack-per-round limit of two or four but still allow the BAB to continue to go up? Add in the increase to weapon damage and it seems like the loss of the extra attacks won’t be felt as much. Continue this trend up to the Epic Levels and combats should be significantly shorter.
4, I’ve had issues with the lack of usefulness of the shield. It seems like people take it simply for the one or two point increase to AC but then ignore it. I’m working on a way to make a shield more of an active defense. My main idea is that a character could take a feat which will allow them to sacrifice the shield bonus to AC and instead make a Shield Block roll against their opponent’s attack roll. If they roll equal to or higher then their opponent’s attack roll then their shield takes the damage instead. This is where the shield hardness and hit points table comes in handy, as well as the option for making different kinds of shields. The mechanic for the roll would look just like an attack roll; BAB+Str+Feats+Masterwork or Magic=Total Shield Block Bonus.
Of course this would only work against one attack per round, and would have to be declared before the opponent makes their attack roll much like a dodge. A natural 20 always blocks, a natural 1 always fails. The shield bonus to AC would be lost for the rest of the round. A character could only apply this Shield Block to an attack they are aware of, not against Sneak Attacks. Perhaps allow the Shield Block feat to be taken multiple times with each new one allowing another Shield Block roll to be made each round against a different attack, or attacker.
I’m hoping that these house-rules will make combat faster paced and more exciting, with more options for melee fighters. Still, they haven’t been play-tested yet. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone else ask their players to simply write all the special rules, favorite spells, and such on their character sheet, or notebook paper attached to it, so that you don’t have to look the stuff up in a book? I’ve found it fun to actually create a “Spellbook” for my Wizard characters.
So, what kinds of house-rules do other people use with their 3.5 games? How have they worked out?
