Gee thanks Hogarth....we can still live in the house and I do weed stuff..about every 5 years or so. And my tag should tell you why I'm going to have to weed out my 3.5 stuff soon.. I mean who needs the Forgotten Realms any more...we have Golarion. The Venture Captain suggestion was a moment of Madness I admit..I'm sort of glad the low templar looks like being kept.

Akorian..might think he's the only noble minded character..but then Marius hasn't really had a chance to shine..(partly my fault usually I'm to busy to post huge screeds of Andoran propoganda..this might change..especially once the Andoran book hits my Paizo PDF folder) As for the play..I've read the script and skimmed the play scenes itself and boy thats a lot of talking ...Thom you did a great job on the lead into CoCT do you think you could do the same here because I feel the play is much more suited to a table top session than PbP.In addition there's a distinct chance of a TP so unless we have have no option..ie we do it to prevent the certain death of innocents..I'm in the no camp.
Whoo hoo break out the hoods and the white sheets boys them uppity nigras is looking fer a whuppin' Seriously..I come from a family where more than half my relatives by marriage, blood and adoption are black.Of course here the whole Marriage Cert thing is handled by civil servants who actually know their business.

Chris asked about Gashelle making the parties good clothing magical ..by my reckoning it would cost a fair bit Command word= Spell level x caster level x 1,800 gp. Mending is level 0(effectivly 1/2) so a flat 900 will cover it. Multiple different abilities(to allow for the prestidigitation) = Multiply lower item cost by 1.5..so that makes it 1350 gp Charges per day = Divide by (5 divided by charges per day)As I understand it the clothing would only have 1 charge a day so divide the price by 5 Total 270 Gp per suit..the cost of the materials is subsumed into that

well if you buy the wands as suggested then Aude doesnt need to do scrolls of CLW..but scrolls of cure moderate are always useful. Magic item compendium..I will consider items on a case by case basis much as I do anything from outside the core book..mind you the book of Exalted Cheese and the book of Vile Dorkiness are closed to you forever.

I remember one classic split the party moment when one of our younger players in Temple of Elemental Evil decided to wander down to the next level having purloined the wand of wonder from the party..he meet the trolls..and died horribly after conjuring a cloud of butterflies...we then had to mount a raid into the level to recover the wand. Later on with same wand we conjured a rhino in a 10' x 10' room...that was one pissed off rhino

My take is that Marius read the guys moves saw he was an experienced opponent but overconfident(the Hellknights are you know) and realised that non lethal wasn't going to do the job..you'll notice he drew off as soon as he was asked to. As for the rest of the party..well...he's suspicious off Raven whose arrival seemed just a little convenient..Akorian strikes him as someone who hasn't ever had to face up to the realities of life..he's not sure what to make of Mother having known few ordinary women in his life (remember his romantic entanglement is with a whore)Zarabetta is too plain and shy to attract his attention however he did appreciate her back up even though he gets a little nervous around magic. And Waif just scared the crap out of him though he won't admit it in public Akorian had best watch out though..once Waif gets what his gods message is all about, he might just find himself with a fanatic on his hands

No problems there let me know how many bows you can manufacture in the time available...but remember if you take the scouting jobs that eats into the time you have available for crafting and probably won't make you as much.

Actually Dabbler's slightly off in his dates for me..I first played D&D in April 1974..yes thats right I'm an original 3 small books in a white box player..saw the Greyhawk and Blackmoor supplements introduced(they actually made the game playable)..then Eldritch Wizardry's introduction of Psionics..which has made me wary off them ever since...back then they really were broken.I added to that with the Arduin Grimoires and the early judges guild stuff I was the first person to buy a 1e book in this country outside the Games Workshop staff...ok I'll stop now before my beard chokes me shall I:)

no not on face book..no wish to be either Heather is all for rescuing Majenko but will admit that Barvasi serves a purpose..kill him and we might get worse in his place...she still thinks her best chance is Charm Person.DC is 15 which means my odds should be better than even unless his wisdom is really high(yes I'm metagaming here)if that fails we can block the door of his 'audience chamber'(with Stilgar probably) and deal with him at our leisure I think 6 3rd level characters should be able to handle it. We could always go for non lethal and hold him hostage but that would probably result in his having a blood feud with us.So if we can't get Majenko peacefully best we kill him..off course given the nature of the underworld if we off him we could end up in control of Eels End..and we should remember to take our watch badges just in case we need to use them to get out of a murder charge

Glad you liked them Chris..had to get a Zagyg reference into this game somewhere eventually The books unfortunately offer no clue as to what the mage was trying to achieve..though they do make interesting reading. The notes are full of cryptic scribblings and the ravings of a man who was you would guess descending into insanity even before his death..some pages are overwritten so much as to be unintelligible.. others bear but a single word..it would appear however that the wizard was trying to get outside the tower presumably to move the lever.

Well my interpretation of the dimensional step is one teleport of up to 30 feet distance per sorcerer level..so an 8th level sorcerer has 8 teleports a day of up to 30 feet each..as either a 5, 10, 15,20,25 or 30 foot move..useful for getting across obstacles and for putting space between you and an attacker with step up but not much more than that but not much more.

I refer everyone who was sleeping to page 153 of the core rules and table 6-7 telling you how long it takes you to put on armour Sondergang stands in his arming doublet no time to don his mail as the orcs barrel in towards the camp. Then as the grass rises to entangle them he calmly picks up his hauberk and dons it quickly(that takes 5 rounds)certain that the ready crew can deal with the lone orc who escaped the spell

I'm sorry I just felt compelled to quote another rebel as I entered the sewers..pity ..I can't do the follow up 'laugh it up fuzzball' line as well.. BTW revolutionaries..sewers..anyone get a Les Miserables vibe from thois game...and I just realised I called myself Maru=ius so I must have been subconciously thinking it about it when I created him

I've skimmed the CoT pdf..but not in any depth...no reading stat blocks or detailed location descriptions much as with CotCT,like Neil I can keep player and character knowledge seperate as I think I have shown with Heather. I'm thinking about fleshing out my contacts a bit more unless Thom want's to use them to surprise me occasionaly. Is anyone else worried about part two of this AP being a collaborative effort between two of the most twisted minds in RP today?
