With the statue being held in place Vronim steps up to slice it with his sword passing on the acid attack not wanting to hurt his companions.

Attack with katana 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
but as the sword is about to stike the enemy movement puts Rinko in the sword's path and he forces the blow to miss the target so as to not hurt Rinko.

unable to see anything in the dark room vronim decides it is time to enlighten the area a bit.

cast light spell on his sword and draw the weapon. with the light spell and low light vision Vronim should be able to see what he is engaging in the room

Surveying the situation it would appear that the creature is under control and there is no need to further risk to another party member. Vronim will simply guage the health of his fellow party to see who may need healing.

I am posting to give the group fair notice !!!

I will be leaving for vacation Wed Aug 15th and plan on returning either the 29th or 30th. (depends on how many stops we make while driving).

I may be able to keep updated while on the road but I will be completely unavailable after the 17th (I am not going to pay the wi-fi fees on the cruise ship).
