She grins, and her outline blurs slightly, as if with a sudden, lightning-fast motion.

"Name's Vilya, and I'm a pint-sized death dealer. And you're way too shiny to have seen much action. This is gonna be hilarious."

"I can hear you. I'm sitting right here."

Vilya sticks her long black tongue out at San.

"You're no fun."

"He talks a lot, doesn't he."

She sticks out her tongue. One gets the impression that she's not taking offense to anything Magnus is doing in particular, but instead taking offense to being upstaged by his ostentatiousness.

"I just know they're going to be getting in my way. Call it a premonition. They'll be tripping me up, making it so that the rest of us don't get as much of a share of the loot. I say we use them as arrow-fodder."

She leans in closer.

"I know a few nice ways to make it look like an accident..."

Vilya giggles and leans back in her chair, her eyes glinting like dark gemstones.

"I might actually know that flash bastard with the hat... Think I might have, ah, relieved him of certain shiny things once or twice..."

A few minutes after Citlali's pronouncement, Vilya, who has clearly not been paying much attention, gives the pair at the bar a sidelong look.

"I think I missed something. Were you talking about the dandy or the stiff? Either way, we're in deep trouble."

If you can recover my ship and its cargo, I will sweeten the deal by awarding you 10% of the cargo's sale price as well as the 5,000 roses. A cargo like that sent to Dragora can fetch 100,000 roses easily."

"Oooh, shiny. I like those odds."

Vilya turns towards Egan, smiling sweetly.

"If you die, can I have your cut?"

(F Human Binder 2 / Rogue 3)

Vilya orders a shot of the same cheap, s*+%ty rum as before, tosses it back, and slams the empty glass onto the table.

"I second that question. What's in it for me? I mean, us. What's in it for us?"

"I would hear your words." she says in the common toungue of the cities, her accent strong yet pleasing to the ear.

The irony of her statement was not lost on her.

Vilya narrows her eyes.

"So which ones do you want to hear?"

(F Human Binder 2 / Rogue 3)

Hearing the screech of a hawk from across the crowded tavern, Vilya instinctively snaps her head towards the source of the sound. Her mouth twists into a wicked grin as she recognizes several of the faces clustered around the area from which the sound came. She saunters over, placing her long-fingered hands on the table and leaning in towards Egan.

"Seems like you're getting the band back together. Wouldn't want to miss out now, would I."

(F Human Binder 2 / Rogue 3)

Amidst the clamor of the Explorer's Guild tavern, the small, gaudily-clad woman attracts slight notice as she slips through the saloon doors. Her movements are smooth and lithe, though offset by a slight limp.

The woman approaches the bar, sitting cross-legged on one of the stools. As she orders a drink, she flashes a smile at the patrons to either side of her, tossing her thick black hair over one shoulder. The bartender pours a shot of rum, and as the small woman reaches towards the glass, the man to her right notices that her fingers bear an extra joint and taper to blackened, clawlike points. The man gives an involuntary shudder.

The woman lunges toward the man, her eyes clouding with a glossy black film as she lets go a feral snarl. As the man flees in horror, she giggles insanely, a six-inch black tongue lolling from her mouth. She raises her glass high in a mock toast, and for some strange reason, the nearby bar patrons can't help but toast along with her.

"That's right, run! No one insults Vilya the Taker!"

She downs the shot with an artful flourish and signals for another one.

Things haven't been the same since the Xoltec job went t@~!-up, she thought to herself. I was promised riches and adventure, and what's more, a chance to muscle out the competition. And what did I get? I got pushed to the side, a glorified bush ranger with a set of lockpicks. When those idiots finally decided we should bail, all I had left was a shiny knife, a broken wrist, and a badly infected leg wound. Amateurs. I'd like nothing more than to show them all what I'm REALLY capable of…

(F Human Binder 2 / Rogue 3)

Vilya is now up to speed stats-wise. Look alright to you?

dungeonmaster heathy wrote:

Shiny,

That's fine.

Maybe you were only gone for a day, but you kinda have a habit of bailing for a week, or a month without saying anything, and I can't keep track of it. I've sat on your turn for a couple days before until I figured out you were going to be gone for an extended period.
Also, it's all well and good if you want to fart around on fawtl, but other people might want to play at the same time. I mean, I really can't tell if you're not going to fart around on fawtl tonight and disappear for two weeks, and don't take this the wrong way, but I suspect that you can't either, so that's......pretty much where I'm coming from.

I do it too; I got life stuff too. Everybody does, and pretty much everybody here is gone some of the time, and it's really not that big a dealyo. If I stopped the game every time somebody was gonna go off for a week, the game would totally stop, man.

So the gone guy kinda falls down a hole, or disappears into the fey realms, or gets kidnapped by mindflayers and plugged into a weird soma injecting meditation machine to be used to try and break into the Dreamlands because mindflayers can't astrally project into the human dreamlands and they need a dwarf to attempt it because humans are too flimsy and they always die when they're used....but life goes on, man.

That's how I keep it rolling. If I don't, it won't go anywhere.

I'll bail. I really want to keep going with this, but things keep getting in the way. Still not happy about it. Bye.

I'm f##@ing brain-dead right now. I'll reassess the situation in the morning.

It's been a little over one day. Whoah...

Honestly, I'd say Vilya's going to stay put until she gets a little bit of healing. Right now (as far as I know) she's down in the 15-20 hp range, and the efreeti look dangerous. Delay action again.

Also, what were the results of the stealth and perception checks?

aye, you're a salty lot, each of you the veteran of scores of battles, dances on the edge of doom,.....something primal in your souls, mixed with the very essence of Ysgard and a few unwinding threads from the Fatespinners' wheels all combines to tells you that this ain't over yet......

Delay action.

Perception: 1d20 + 15
Stealth: 1d20 + 18

End delayed action. Vilya goes to take a look and possibly find something shiny.

Also, blue valkyrie needs healing badly.

GROUP'S ATTACK!!!

Bel; Vilya; you can prolly go at any time, seeing as you'll get an attack before the golem anyhowse.

Fffffff... Vilya's kind of a one-trick pony in combat. Still, one can always try.

Staggering back from the heavy blow, blood running from a nasty, partially cauterized gash in her thigh, Vilya attacks again, more viciously this time, her axe and knife striking inward like a pair of shears.

+1 keen handaxe (sneak attack): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24; damage (if applicable): 5d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 2, 3) + 2 = 17
+1 blurstrike kukri (vital strike): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30; damage (if applicable): 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 2) + 2 = 8

Holy s~%#, down from 91 hp to 61 hp in one hit...

It got init of 12, so everybody who beat that (added to Stiggy's roll of 5) can go; need a position for Stiggy also; he's grown kinda big to be in the spot he's in.....then it's the golem's turn.

I know Beldan beat it; Vilya beat it;

Ah, the perks of a +9 initiative bonus...

Five-foot step to O11, then full attack. I can't remember if they changed the "no sneak attack on constructs rule" for PF, but in any case, my character wouldn't know that either.

Like a flash, Vilya rounds the corner, striking upwards into the golem's back and underbelly with her kukri and handaxe.

Again, no idea if this is going to work...
+1 keen handaxe (vital strike): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18; damage (if applicable): 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 = 5

Also, has Vilya gained any XP during her dimension-hopping hiatus?

You can get to S12 with a double move; then, to p12 if you're running; however to move through s12 to p 12, you'll need to make a reflex d.c. 16 to avoid 6d6 damage from the "black square," which is a building the golem is beating the crap out of.

Also, there's a door, which is ajar, at t11 on the building to the north.

Bad Decision Girl makes bad decision: Vilya moves to p12.

Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30, which possibly makes the save. Maybe.

Everyone's at level 12, right?

Not sure where Vilya is on the map, but...

Elgan's flame strike provides enough of a diversion for Vilya to move around to the wolf-troll-creature's side. As she draws her kukri and handaxe, she momentarily appears to have four arms, each holding a different weapon. Vilya moves quickly and silently toward the creature, her movements slightly blurred and distorted.

Moves to attempt to flank creature.

If this next bit is possible in this round, go for it. If not, save this for the next round:

Vilya springs at the creature, her concentration slipping slightly, allowing her true features to show for a split second.

Attacks:
