I'd say C at best, and that's if you can get past things like a white dragon in the middle of a temperate setting. And (what I consider) to be a terrible representation of Obad-Hai. And... Falazure? Could they have chosen a more obscure deity?!

Absolutely. They could have gone with Khostren.

(3 geek points for the first person who figures out where Khostern is from.)

errr-is that Khostren or Khostern?

Heck, I never noticed it was Juiblex until the second D&D movie.

That's actually the first time I heard someone mispronounce Juiblex as Jubilex was in the movie.

the Prodigy-Breathe

ok what if the BBEG is not really a vampire but just a wannabe-still humanoid but the PCs think he is undead(I know this is not entirely original but it could be done quite well, in fact you could maybe even adapt Ravenloft to this)

Right -Beyond the Valley of the Dolls-

campy,baby!

Wow! great story.

"this is my happening, and it freaks me out!"

LOL. Are you quoting Zaphod Beeblebrox? I know I've heard this quote before.

Continuing in the Good guy vein-What if he was a Goliath(Races of Stone) tribal chieftain(CG or CN alignment) who is taking desperate measures to protect his tribe.

Maybe they were chased out of their home territory by stone giants or a Blue Dragon and now they must find a new way to survive. A mid-level quest could be to slay the dragon on the goliaths' behalf but ultimately the chieftain fails to see the value of cooperating with humans and must be eliminated-maybe to be replaced by one of the PCs!(especially tasty if that PC is also a goliath-maybe exiled from this or another tribe and now achieves redemption with a little help from her friends)

Spoiler:
Perhaps the most famous of Fitzgerald's verses is this one from the Rubayyat of Omar Khayam
Quatrain XI in his 1st edition:
Here with a Loaf of Bread beneath the Bough,
A Flask of Wine, a Book of Verse - and Thou
Beside me singing in the Wilderness -
And Wilderness is Paradise enow.

Here in encounter area 7a with a loaf of iron rations beneath the bough,
A healing potion, a spellbook-and Thou
Beside me singing in the wilderness-
And Wilderness is Twin Paradises of Bytopia enow.
