Born and raised in a town surrounded by sorcerers and wizards, Vero spent many of his teenage years trying to learn anything about the arcane arts, including learning much information from many mentors and old tomes. By the time he reached adulthood he was a fairly competent evocation magic user. Inious however, still wasn't happy about this and he knew that it would take many more years - if not all of his life, to become a great evocater.
To remedy this, Vero struck a deal with a mysterious client known only by the codename 'Dimn'. Dimn promised that if Vero performed several quests for the esoteric figure, Inious would be one the greatest Wizards alive, which the gullible young man accepted.
Vero's missions typically involved morally questionable wetworks and assassinations, which allowed Vero to not only fortify his relationship with Dimn, but also learn many skills which would aid him in his later life.
After only several months of working under the ghostly character, Vero had already become an incredibly formidable arcane user. However, Dimn still had many ideas for his new puppet.
This all eventually culminated in Dimn sending Vero to destroy a large enemy bandit camp. The wizard was told that the bandits cared for no souls and had already slaughtered hundreds of people, and the only solution was to burn the camp to the ground. Drunk with arcane power, Vero quickly accepted, scorching the area before the bandits knew what hit them. But Vero only heard the screams of the dying - men, women and children.
The wizard came to realize what he had done, and denounced all forms of the arcane arts for the rest of his life, floating around endlessly from town to town, hoping to find the man who absconded shortly after. Vero hopes he will end his troubles by ending the person that made him perform a vile act and perhaps understand Dimn's motivation.
In the present day, Vero Inious, the wandering rogue arrives in Falcon's Hollow, still armed only with the codename of his former boss.
