Verbannter stands just over 4 feet and appears to weigh close to 200 lbs. He has curly red hair, a short well trimmed red beard, and bright green eyes. Like most dwarves, he doesn’t care if he gets dirty, but he prefers ink stains and grease spots to soot and sweat. He usually wears dark clothes that allow for a lot of movement.

The dwarf that now goes by Verbannter was born in Janderhoff and raised like any other dwarf. His father was a successful magesmith and his mother was a respected member of the clergy. He was not the oldest, nor the youngest child and his clan was neither exceptionally strong, wealthy, or renowned nor that forgettable. All in all, Verbannter lived the life of a normal dwarf. Unfortunately, while his life was normal, Verbannter himself was not. He took his turn practicing with the militia, training in the caves, and working with the various craftsmen in his clan's hold, but Verbannter never attached himself to any of those jobs like the other dwarves. As a young child, he had seen some of the golemwork the human mages were working on, and had become intrigued by the finer craftsmanship required for artifacts that moved and in his mind; did something. During his apprenticeship, Verbannter was frequently too tired to perform well for his master, due to his own late night tinkering and crafting. Many arguments, with his parents, his master, and even the clergy, began to take up Verbannter's time, until he decided that the best course of action would be to flee his clan's hold until he could bring honor and respect to them. He has since wandered, hoping that he will find a way to earn his way back into his home.
