About Venture-Captain Nael Nissen

Twenty-two years ago a child was born. This boy was named Nael. He was a blessed child as his human mother was told she would not be able to have children. Nael’s elven father was killed fighting for the Andoran army, while his wife was pregnant.

Raised by a single parent, Nael was ridiculed for being a child who was only half human. As a result Nael grew up with few friends. He was a protégé with a bow; his mother knew he was a gift from Erastil. With her guidance Nael embraced the way of the bow and became a true follower of Erastil.

Later in life when he left home, he decided to travel the River Kingdoms spreading the teachings of his God. He found solace in showing people that there was more to life than money. One day he received a vision, that Erastil had more for him to do. He was guided to the Pathfinder Society to find out exactly what Erastil had planned for him.

His time in the Pathfinder Society allowed him to travel around Golarion preaching the word of Erastil, saving settlements from the Aspis Consortium. He rose quicky through the ranks of the society until he started reporting to the decemvirate. Eventually he was made a Venture-Captain and erected a lodge near his home in the River Kingdom. He competed in the Breaching festival being the first winner in over a century. His accomplishments continued when he travelled to Golarions moon and the land of the linnorm kings saving Golarion from epic threats. He has since returned to his lodge where he anxiously awaits his next assignment from the decemvirate.
