Medium: Half-orcs are Medium creatures, and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size. Normal Speed: Half-orcs have a base speed of 30 feet. Weapon Familiarity: Half-orcs are proficient with greataxes and falchions, and treat any weapon with the word “orc” in its name as a martial weapon. Vargo's human mother was discovered in the remains of an Orc camp after they were decimated by a Druid, protecting his territory. He took her in and cared for her, soon discovering that she was pregnant. As he protected and cared for her the two fell in love and soon considered themselves a family. The child showed very little aptitude for manipulating the forces of nature, as his adopted father did but did seem to have an unusual gift. He could observe and replicate the hunting and fighting styles of animals. For hours the boy would practice the movements he'd seen in nature, learning the deadly dance of the hunter and the hunted. Eventually, seeking to discover more of the world around him, and to find new creatures to learn from he bid his parents farewell and began to travel, adventuring.
