Hi there all, long time no see I have recently gotten my group of friends who I am GM for interested in playing Pathfinder (1st Edition) we are a group of Eight, Im introducing them to pathfinder by running an Adventure Path (Reign of Winter) we are experienced group for 5e but we wish to try Pathfinder. I and 2 other players are experienced players of pathfinder. So my question is quite simple how do I make the encounters more full for them do I simply double the Mobs in a Encounter for the amount players I have (7 Players) or do I simply increase there HP (I feel this will make them seem like blobs of HP more then a Fight) For those interested our group is: Oracle
Thanks, Valkyrie.
So I was doing some hunting around of ideas for a New character and really wanted to make a Duel Wielding Repeating hand crossbow build for my next home campaign, just a bit of backstory Im not allowed to play a Gunslinger (Or Bolt Ace) so I was thinking of doing a Fighter (Weapon Master Archetype) But I have no idea what kind of Feat Train I would do to allow me to come online around level 9-10 ish area, I know the basic Ranged feats and Two-weapon Fighting feats are need but not much else other then that.
Hello there Everyone. So, I need a hand I am running a Campaign soon for a 6-Player group and there is a region that has always interested me in all of Pathfinder and that is the Land of the Linnorm Kings, I was wondering if anyone would happen to know of a Campaign book in which takes place in these lands (Can be 3rd party or Paizo made)
I was allowed Leadership in one campaign only because my Paladin Raised a Baby Gold Dragon from birth... Was a long campaign then he left his Mummy and went on his way, that's a good use of a Leadership I raised him and then he departed and he finished his story, Then we killed the Final Big bad guy and the campaign was over....
Hello Paizo forums I am running a Steampunk campaign and one of my players and myself have a strange though on the cover system as to how does a person who is half the hieght taller then a lower wall gets soft cover to 100ft Range weapon because to get proper cover from it you would need to crouch behind it, and a skilled Gunslinger as they would be would not really matter if there target is only half covered by the low wall as they would just hit the top of there target therefor making the cover bonus not really mean anything. So my question is how can you make cover that works with firearms shooting at soft cover?
I'm going for a Charismatic Knight the very trope of a Female Knight you know like a Personal version of a Angelic Knight, using her Magic to assist her allies and Destroy her foes while Battling it up in Melee combat. I also did take a Look at the Skald its not really what I want, we have a Pretty strong Support based player already anyway.
After reading the Skirnir Magus archetype I think that is what I will go with and Use Mithral Heavy Armour since it still gets it does it not? I can live with the Demised Spellcasting as well, Could I do a Two-weapon build based around it Using Shield and Hammer, As for the Spells I'm after Buffs mainly with a Side of Offence. I did read the Witch one a Bit, as much as I like the Look of it I think after reading I want to stay one 1 Class more then anything.
I guess the Main theme I was going with was a Knight who uses a Side of Magic and can focus on it if need be, I was hoping to do Weapon-and-Shield, I think that Divine Casting just does not suit the Vibe I want to go with, I think with Arcane Armour Training and that Could work as you say put my Weapon away and Cast with that hand would probably work much better in the Long run of Action economy. Also is Mithral Full plate not treated as Medium armour?
31. A Curse has caused one of your Eyes to turn Purple when it is the Only eye open it peers in to a Un-natural realm, Tenticle Monsters of a Sort seem to be in your Side vision you to look they have gone, the World glows a Eerie Purple Hue a Similar world to your own you try as you might to see more but you Mind seems unable to comprehend what you have seen (From a Horror/Gothic Campaign I am currently running)
Hi there Guys I'm in need of a Hand I am trying to make a Themed Build of Magical Knight based around the Mystic Knight from Dragons Dogma (http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Mystic_Knight) I'm going to playing Human already decided on that much, I'm just in need a hand making this Hybrid Build a Reality, we are playing with Rolled stats min are:
They all thought my having below standards money was not fair after all that gold they just recieved and a Friend of min rises a valid point if I'm level 8 like the rest of the party how do I not have the money to show my character previous adventure career before joining, I have sent him a message with how I truely feel about it, I'm just waiting on a reply, My party did not bat a Eyelid and just spent all there gold Stright away with a single side though, I had retired a character before because it was unfun to play for me, that's how I got to my bodyguard fighter and Because the dice gods where on there side they survived the fight, but if they where not on there they would been wreaked, I keep the entire party alive, but I said, don't pay for my resurrection in the end but that was before they got all this money and they did not even think about him, they even took his reward money and split it among themselves, Im truely pissed at the unfairness of my dealing with 4000 GP and them having 18,000 for me saving there skin...
I need a hand, I feel slightly cheated, I died playing my bodyguard build in our home group during a boss fight, the party was just rewarded 18,000 GP and I was told to make my new character with only 4000 Gp, I feel like I'm getting punished for Saving two of my teammates from Crits. What can a say to my Gm to get him to see that I feel I'm getting punished for dieing defending my teammates now sitting at basiclly 5 levels below my allies in terms of Items.
As the title says, I got rekted hard by a boss Monster, like -36 HP rekted, so I was looking for some help with a Blastmaster Sorceror who use the Acid Bloodline (Genie one) with lots of spells specializing in AoE builds, I'm thinking of playing Human cause bonus feat my stats are as followed: 13, 18, 14, 16, 13, 13 I also have 4000 Gp to spend and I will be level 7, All core races and Aasimar are allowed.
Hi there, I have started a campaign recently and I'm trying to work out party CR, I don't understand how do I work it out for say 6 Level 1 Characters is the party CR 1 so I can only have 1 CR Monster for it to be a normal challenge or can I have say 4 Monsters of CR 1 for it to still be a fair and normal challenge?
Well Ravenloft is what inspired this campaign so I was looking back though some of the stuff in the books and the descriptions that they give you are amazing and helpful, I have spent my time finding images and sounds and so far it has been great fun to set-up, also what kind of restriction sould I give to my players, if I wanted them to be mercs for a Holy Order come to save a Country in despair, what would be good besides the basic no Necromancers/Antipaladins.
Halfling does sound fun to use, but the more I think on it the more a Non-mounted Cavalier sounds fun to, I guess I will have a look in to it, as I just enjoy a Martial Class with a pet really, if I was to play a Non-mounted I would more then likely go for a Beast Rider to just because large mount choose, and I like a Teamwork based Killing team haha, however is possible to give mounts/Animal Companions, Items to increase there intelligence?
