Appearance:
Valki Valka is tall even for a Kellid, tall as an elf, but there any resemblance to the fey ends. Brash and bullheaded, Valki was born to fight, and her strong body is crisscrossed with the scars of her encounters. She has a toothy snarl of ferocity for her enemies and a suspicious glare for everyone else, excepting her husband. Her black hair falls loose down her back, held from her eyes with a headband, and she wears the furs and mail typical of the Kellid people.

Background:
Valki Valka is rightfully proud of her many scars, but none more so than those she attained in winning her husband. Having heard of the unnatural light of the Torch, she left her people on her coming-of-age quest, meaning to destroy it. However, it was not so easily destroyed, and in the attempt she was badly burned by the erratic pulse of the fire that had kept the townsfolk from observing her ill-timed attack. Thus did she meet her soon-to-be husband, Takek Iron-Back. A cleric of Gorum, he too held himself with the pride of the strong, and took her in when he found her collapsed on the tundra, having tried to walk wounded back to her tribe in shame.

He told her that losing a battle did not mean defeat in the war, but that her targets should be chosen more wisely. Why attack the torch of Torch, when the Technic League was a far worthier foe? As was her way, the argument became a fight, but Takek proved that he could hold his own. Impressed by his prowess as much as his wisdom, Valki married him within two years, and has fought many fights alongside him (and with him) since.
