Yeah, but he's not helping himself when he turns around excitedly and posts a new thread that reinforces his fauxlita fetish now that you've only encouraged him.

A girl playing a druid exclusively =/ a man playing a slave fauxlita

A guy playing a dwarf exclusively =/ a man playing a slave fauxlita

I'm aware that there are folks on this site that has an obsession with playing anthropomorphic cat-races almost exclusively. Do I think it strange? Probably. But that nor the other two references you bring up as (poor) examples has to do anything with the portrayal of subjecting innocent children in an enslaved type scenario.

As long as you continue to actively solicit for public acceptance of these tropes that you're obsessed with recreating for whatever niche that it fulfills for you, you're going to open yourself up to comment.

I have no problems with people playing unconventional and exotic characters. They make the game more interesting.

But these reoccurring slave fauxlita tropes are analogous to the acceptance that you're claiming to want. Honestly, I wish you were engaging in the most elaborate of trolls here.

Sadly, you're not.

You don't really want acceptance. You want the attention. Your newly created thread I referenced above confirms it.

I remember reading some of these previously (especially the Ulfen Fighter). But are these your best character concepts? These you just threw out lacks the intricate lavish details compared to your others. You provided those hastily because my analysis was accurate as you did not attempt to rebuke or challenge it. ;)

But that is a concept you should improve upon to make it your best.

They did manage to wrap it up in two seasons, but I wish it could have gone on. Alas, the budget was too expensive to keep going. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Since it's based on historical events, I don't need to inform you that MA's badassery will go downhill as you get further into the season.

I liked how they handled Caesarion, though.

If we actually read the Bible, we discover that the sin of Sodom had nothing to do with sex at all.

Which is not to say that the authors of the Bible were exactly marching in Pride parades, only that they did not think Yahweh nuked Sodom over the sex. Nor, of course, does it suggest that taking advice from a bunch of people who thought the world was flat and knew less about it than your average high school student is a good idea to begin with.

That is the exact verse I reference, which tends to be forgotten / overlooked.

i had an idea for a touhou project inspired shy cambion library assistant. married to a sickly archwizard and works as his assistant. i haven't named her yet. but she doesn't have a doll, isn't in a master/slave relationship, and isn't from an oriental background. inspired by Koakuma of the Voile Library.

Overt? No. But the subtle cues are here. The library assistant and the archwizard. He's knowledgeable, whereas she's shy. He's infirm, so she has to cater to his every needs to keep him comfortable against what ails him. She's a cambion. They're (half-)demonic (and half-human), yet with an angelic / beautiful appearance. Archwizards are usually at a stage where they are powerful enough to summon and bind such denizens to serve them. And finally, married. Another contract.

There is your master/slave relationship.

Airheaded. Innocent and Inexperienced. Goodie two shoes (wants to please). Youthful. Add to that, she's a nephilim, which is a fallen angel (and in other literary iterations, demonic). And lo and behold, also a half-human. Dove? Symbol of purity.

A corrupted, naive youth with a need to please.

There is your fauxlita.

However, in Biblical terms, Sodomy comes from "The Sin of Sodom", the Peccatum Sodomiticum, in which the central aspect was using the other person merely as an object of carnal pleasure of the sexual kind. So in that case, the English deffinition would be the closest one, although it must be emphasized that Biblical Sodomy is negative because it uses people rather than love them.

That's exactly why I think there is a dissonance in the Catechism that must be amended. And, believe it or not, there are quite a few theologians within the Church working on that exact same subject, because there is a real, widespread internal sense of discomfort with the conflict it causes with homosexual reality.

Interesting anecdote. Is there a citation or link of this? It's just something I'd like to read for my own convenience / curiosity (i.e. the theologians addressing the issue).

I've always argued that the sin was a lack of hospitality and not an act of homosexuality, but we're all well too aware of the mutability of language over the years to obfuscate its initial origins.

No, but I do recall an incident down in NOLA during Mardi Gras where people were getting busted left and right for public urination. What law enforcement failed to realize that there were a lot of facilities that were charging those who were not patronizing their premises for food & bevs a fee to use the restroom. And they also lacked available public port-a-potties for them to relieve themselves. There was this one guy who was in the process of whipping it out and got busted and thrown in the back of the paddywagon. He said WTF, he was already going to the drunk tank, so he proceeded to just relieve himself in there ... with the others already in there for whatever infraction they were picked up for.

Besides, excrement smells really bad in the summer heat. And draws flies.

Then there's no need to still wear the collar with the leash, right?

I understand what you're attempting. But let's be honest; you're simply using omission. While you don't mention an actual age, the fact that you mention that she carries a doll subtly implies she's young. Or if she's not, she's clinging to a youth mentality by having that doll in her possession as her 'comfort blanket' or a memento.

Challenge yourself with a character concept that also doesn't include a master/slave relationship and an Asian female.

A friend of my professor's is a scholar of Greek language, and was taking a Greyhound bus from Chicago to New York. Also on the bus was a preacher from Tennessee and his youth group. The Greek scholar, hearing all of the talk about the Bible, turned around and asked:

"Have any of you read the Bible in Greek? It's fascinating."

To which the preacher replied:

"No, we like our Bible straight. You know, in the original English."

I have discovered that I can't abide the sound of someone eating yogurt or pudding out of those little cups. The sound of the spoon against the plastic container drives me to distraction, especially when they get to the end and they are scraping down the sides of the cup with short rapid movements. Am I the only one who feels this way?

It's not exactly the same, but I occasionally become overwhelmingly ooked out by social eating. The insertion of food into gaping red, moist maws, the mastication, the swallowing, the sights, the sounds.... ew, just ew. We don't eliminate socially, why do we ingest socially?

I had an interesting dream last night...

I dreamt I was about 12 years old...and that I was spending the night at a friend's house. Said friend had a WHOLE bunch of minis for D&D/Pathfinder/your game of choice that he was willing to give to me, as he was getting out of gaming. I was looking through them all, and picking out what I wanted and what I didn't want. Halfway through, I found Battletech minis, which came with a funky cool video, which I watched. It was SO realistic, it was a weird hybrid of Mechwarrior/Warhammer 40K, and I ended up picking out a WHOLE bunch of elementals to use as minis for my PCs, and I woke up when the friend's mom walked in and said that I was to spend two days there. I said that it was okay, and that I would leave tomorrow as planned as I had walked with my bike.

It was so real...

I don't get them all the time, but every now and then I dream of gothic churches with beautiful stonework lined up in a row across campuses/blocks and buildings like schools/apartments/rectories/cemeteries/etc done up as nicely. I'm always awed when I walk or drive into these areas, though I'm often wondering where everyone parks to go to these places. They also have expansive lawns/entries to the front of the buildings.

Today's version had an abandoned/crumbling church, but with an up to date apartment/city office type building around the corner. I was trying to collect pieces of fallen/broken stained glass windows.

Not sure if I've ever seen this stuff before. I wish I could draw it out.

It's almost like a college campus made up of multiple churches/denominations along with other buildings. There are different layouts/make ups whenever I dream of them.

Not sure why I dream of this stuff, but I've always loved old buildings.

Easy. You reminisce about what Motown was ... and what Motown is turning out to become and you can't save it despite picking up the broken pieces you can.
