You really have an evil streak, haven't you? :-)

In the JR campaign, the Seal is - I think - supposed to be a sort of Deux Ex Machina device, in case something goes wrong.
But if teh Pcs make a "liberal" use of the Seal, I think they should be penalized in some way.
In my case, I decided that every time they open the seal (and so reveal their position to the Onis) I have a new Oni-type monster find then, shadows them and play some dirty tricks.
At the moment, one infiltraded as a cart driver succeeded in divide the group and bur one cart.
do you think is a good Idea?

Marcello.

My players had some problems with the rimerunners guild raid. They succeeded in freeing Uksahkka, but got no documents (also killed almost everyone in sight).

Now, how can I lead them to the lair? I can simply have Uksahkka tell them, but it's sort of childish. Any suggestions?

Thanks! I'll see to it.

Stefan, I subscribed to JIRA, ande even "voted" my proposal. However, I have no CVS/SVN access to PCGen@sourceforge, so I can't really submit my (tentative) file to anyone to edit, correct or try them out.

Can I send them to you, or can you point me to someone who's willing?

Thanks
Marcello.

Hi all.
I've been using PCGen for many years and I really appreciate the contributions from Paizo. However, As I started the new JR campaign I think updates are really really needed. Granted, I can keep track of friendship by hand (thoug you could regard Friendship as a skill, sort of), but the traits need to be added as soon as possibile.
I have started to write something in this direction, but I have limited time and It's a little while since I last wrote .pcc & .lst files.
Therefore...
a) Is there someone working on JR AP "officially"
b) If not, anyone willing and capable to join me in this effort? If so: piffy at treemme dot org

Bye!

Ok thank you ALL for your feedback. We've had our first winter as of now and my idea is that essentially we'll have 2 months of "frozen lands" (ie. December and January), during these months most activity literally 'freezes'. Other than that, Winter CAN be bad, but in essence life goes on as usual.

Thank you for your insight.

Hi all.

I noticed nobody seriously tackled with severe weather rules. Brevoy should be a really cold place (comparable to Canada/Scandinavia/N. Russia) and therefore weather should have a huge impact on the campaing.

Rules on snow/ice/weather are not really very precise in PF (nor in 3.5). I'm using a modified version of D&D's Frostburn, but I'm unsure as to the impact weather must have on Kindgom handling, commerce, exploration.

Suggestions?
