Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
The final messenger is easily destroyed with Syksy's hit I actually don't remember what its AC was and I don't care. Sorry not sorry. Garrote swipes at a kobold and misses. Jonah makes one go splat. Two koblods remain. R3

No one is disagreeing with Silian, so I'm assuming you're going to checkout the message station. Jess pouts lightly, "You're leaving again? It's boring here without you. I'll be careful though, I promise." Jessamin pulls Akasha to her and presses her lips to Akasha's. -----
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
After a week filled working on your various projects, wooing your love interests, and quite possibly more group orgies the group finds themselves feeling restless. While returning to the Cracked Mirror, an owl drops from the sky and lands on Garotte's shoulder. The smokey gray and tawny bird wears a harness, and attached to the harness is a small scroll case. The owl screeches once and then begins to preen itself from his Warforged perch.

"Future services are often acceptable, however," Aurora moves to the items laid out by Silian and runs a hand over them, tracing them with her fingertips. She seems lost and disconnected for a moment before saying, "Yes, these will do." In case any of you are missing this interaction, Silian has just successfully made a transaction with the mad lady using materials taken from the man you all helped to kill in to avenge Pax. Evidently, she is interested in trading items for other items. Jonah I think you are talking about one of the bags she sat down in front of you, correct? If so, she had various sizes. I'll give you the price for the smallest. "2,500 Galifars, for the smallest," Aurora says to Jonah. "It was meant to happen," the weasel replies in common before stretching out it's little paws to Syksy's hand and pulling himself over sit in his palm. "You're welcome, dear," Aurora calls to Akasha.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
EDIT: I'm stupid. I thought Syksy was talking to Akasha. Just read it more closely. "I would not do it otherwise," Aurora says in response to Syksy. ----- "No, there is one more in there. You must move now, Sentinel, two steps to your left should do it," Aurora says. A moment later and Silian feels a slight movement from the book in his hand. He opens the book to find new writing has appeared. Second room on the right, third shelf from the door on the left. You will know them when you see them.

The Cult of Akasha:
Loreth pulls down a wooden box holding several wands to allow you to choose from. Once you've chosen, he accepts your payment and place the box back on a shelf. Crazy Lady's Place: "Indeed. Try not to touch anything if you aren't certain what it does. I won't be held responsible for damages to person or property," Aurora says. "Especially you, Servant of the Host." It seems to Silian that this is the most coherent he's seen Aurora yet. The pages of Aurora's book continue to slowly turn themselves as her eyes glide across the words. You begin to look around the shelves and tables piled haphazardly with everything from unmarked vials, orbs, herbs, and jewelry to an orrey set upon a table by itself. You are quite certain that not everything in here is for sell, but the madwoman does not appear to have separated out what is from what is not. As your eyes scan the area, you also become quite sure that not everything in here is strictly legal. A silver ring etched with what looks like gusts of wind. An aged, wooden staff topped with a pink dragonshard. A scroll of Contagion lays held open with a black orb sitting on the top and a human skull sitting on the bottom. A jar of a red powder sits with the lid half off. GP limit 100,000. Things that would be considered common in most areas are least likely to be found here with some exceptions. A good place to find some of the less common things from your wishlists as well. If you're looking for anything specific let me know.

Silian and Jonah:
The two men walk into the cluttered shop and see Aurora sitting at a table with a book open in front of her. Beside the book is a cup of tea and an empty plate. She glances up at the two of you as the door opens before looking back down to the book. A page turns itself.
"Hello dears," Aurora says.
The Cult of Akasha: Loreth rubs at the back of his neck and glances back towards the forge before answering, "Sure, why not. There's someone in here around the clock keeping the forge going. Yes, we've got some wands on hand. Come with me I'll let you have a look."

Silian and Jonah:
Silian closes his eyes as he feels his own memories racing through his mind. Aurora quickly passes over the ones that are irrelevant to her quest. Silian perhaps feels a sense of gratitude that the mad woman isn't making him relieve every last private moment and thought in front of her prying eyes. Finally, a memory settles into focus. Silian recognizes it well, it is the time he met Rylsiali.
He watches as the scene unfolds on the back of his eyelids. He is a young elf once more, wandering alone when he is faced with an aggressive blink dog protecting her cubs. The dog lashes out at Silian, drawing rivulets of blood as her claws sink into his flesh. Pain lances through him rivaled only by the sudden onslaught of hatred and anger. Silian lashes out at the foul beast, scooping up first a rock to launch slam into the dogs mouth before grabbing a broken stick to use as a spear. Silian fights back against the creature, jabbing at it with the stick and even drawing blood. Suddenly a displacer beasts appears, lashing out at the blink dog with its long, barbed tentacles. Moving swiftly and silently the feline rips into the canines throat before shaking her head and snapping the dog's neck. Her razor sharp claws eviscerating her prey. She begins to tear into the dog's flesh with her teeth, ripping chunks from the corpse. Silian, who had been struck dumb with awe as he watched the displacer beast make her kill suddenly became aware of the creatures voice, speaking to him inside his mind. The image stops on Rylsiali. Her blood drenched muzzle and her penetrating eyes searing into Silian's mind. Silian feels a growing pressure in his head, an intense light so bright he squints in pain before it explodes into another awareness. Rylsiali is there with him now, in his mind. He can feel her as real as the day he met her. "It is not time, you are not ready. I wait, I hunt, we shall meet again when the time has come," Rylsiali says. Through this connection, Silian is able to get a feel of Rylsiali's surroundings. She is in a place as familiar to Silian as it is to Rylsiali, the Talenta wilderness in which she calls home. Her territory, her hunting grounds. You may respond briefly. ----- Jonah, still waiting for your actions. Akasha and Syksy:
The room seems both incredibly cluttered yet somehow amazingly organized at the same time. There are tables and shelves stacked high with tools and various works in progress. Other shelves hold finished products. Machinery fills nearly every possible inch of floor space, leaving just enough room for the men and women who work here to move about. Garotte: "You were buried for two years? How did you end up in that situation? Did you not call out for assistance?" Loreth asks as she finishes his work. He moves about at the table nearby, digging through various things and placing them in a leather satchel. When he turns back to you he hands you the satchel. "Here, you should try to keep these things with you," Loreth says. He gives you a warforged repair kit. Because they are Cannith tools and it was put together with you in mind, I'll give you a +3 bonus when they're used for Garotte as opposed to the +2.

Team Lost and Found: For the first round spent with detect magic, you definitely detect the presence of magical auras. Silian turns the page and words appear before his eyes on an otherwise blank page. I'm having tea. I shall be finished in either two weeks or three minutes. You will arrive then. If it cannot wait, write your request or accept the bond. Jonah and Silian both become aware of an attempted telepathic bond connection. Requires a choice to accept or deny the bond.

Awww, isn't that touching. Just think, Garotte, with Syksy's help someday you might become a real boy! :P The body guard furrows his brow at the conversation but doesn't involve himself in what he sees as utter foolishness. Seeing that Garotte has taken to following Akasha's lead, and that Akasha has agreed to the suggestion he instead nods his head to her before stepping back. "If there is nothing else, we shall take our leave. Thank you, again," Lady Elaydren says standing from her seat at the table and securing the schema within her bag.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Marianna gladly takes Jonah's arm and allows him to lead her from the building. Garotte is left sitting at a table all by himself. Akasha, Syksy, and Jessamin are busy occupying each other, perhaps to go find Silian at some point (?) Silian meanwhile is taking a bath with Elanaril. Sometime later, once everyone has cleaned and dressed once more you all gather back in the Cracked Mirror's main room. Vannevar awaits you there, sitting with Garotte.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Silian:
"Oh dear me, whatever shall I do?" Elanaril says with a grin. "Oh no wait, I can do better than that." She clears her throat and tilts her head before throwing the back of her hand up to rest on her forehead. "Help! Help! Oh somebody please help! The awful naked man has grabbed me! Help!" She drops her hand and looks at you, "There, how was that?" Naughty Trio:
Jess' hands move to bring Syksy in closer, one hand roaming over his chest, seeking purchase on the cloth before tugging at it. The other reaches under Akasha's shirt to cup her breasts. We can totally just fade to black you guys, lol. I'm following your lead on this. Jonah and Garotte: Marianna accepts the wine and raises and eyebrow, "Smelly?"
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Naughty Trio:
Jessamin chuckles at Syksy and shakes her head in amusement.
She turns to Akasha and leans into the woman, pressing her lips against Akasha's mouth. "I don't think there will be room in that tub for all of us," Jess says. She leans towards Syksy and plays with a lock of his hair, rubbing it between her thumb and fingers, "What do you think?"
Jonah and Garotte:
Marianna smiles and a soft blush colors her cheeks, "So, hm, what grand adventures have you been on since last we spoke?" Garotte can tell that the human female seems to be wanting something from Jonah. The look about her eyes is not dissimilar to the look that Akasha takes on when looking at Jessamin.
Silian: "Your family doesn't want you to traipse off into the wilds to chase down a big cat? Let me guess, there are more respectable ways they want you to spend your time? Serving the House? Honestly though, running around looking for a displacer beasts sounds rather droll. I'm sure there would be a few exciting moments here and there; things to fight and kill, perhaps the occasional traveler to bed along the way or rob, whichever struck your fancy but really... how would you pass your time otherwise?" Elanaril says rocking the heel of foot back and forth on the edge of the tub and tilting her chair back to balance on it's back legs. She takes a swallow directly from the bottle of wine before casually saying, "You should talk to Aurora about your kitty."
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
"All the more reason, then. It'd be a mercy," Jess says She looks sideways at Syksy when he says Elanaril is a 'nice lady'. ----- "I can't complain. I hope you don't think me too forward coming here to see you," Marianna says glancing at Garotte. Silian: "Then why are you here and not there? Who is Rylsiali if not a Thuranni-maiden?"
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Jess thanks Jonah and then pulls Akasha to her to plant a kiss on her mouth. Elanaril's musical laughter fills the room, echoing back to you off of the walls. She throws an arm around Syksy's shoulders and when he looks at her she winks. "Give it time." Silian: +1 longsword, light crossbow, traveling cloak, and a backpack.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
I love how he "calmly" does everything, lol. That roll won't hit - the dice have been major jerks lately - but remember that you are moving through terrain that costs two squares of movement instead of 1, so you would only be able to move as far as you did if you used a double move and so wouldn't attack anyway. Or, you could have moved to within 5ft of the blue guy instead and acted. R3

Jonah slides the rod into the hole and before his hand lets go of the metal, he feels a jolt of electricity shoot through his body.
Syksy: The place is too wet and murky to be certain, you can't see any obvious signs of footprints.
Jess looks around for a moment, "Gods it reeks down here. I'm going to need a long bath when this is over." Elanaril disappears into the shadows, you hear her whispered voice, "Wait there, I'll be back." After a few minutes time, the elf returns. "I fear we may have been bested by our little goblin friend. We are no where near the E-213 Valve Cluster, but I believe I can get us there from here. We'll just have to tromp through the sewers a bit longer than any of us would have preferred. Keep your guards up, let's go."

So, I've been introduced to this critical hit/fumble generator and will now be using it from time to time, including for magical critical hits/fumbles. I'm not necessarily going to go with the first thing that comes up, but your DM might have just shifted closer to the evil spectrum. Machera, for rolling a 1 on your ranged touch attack: Backblast: The spell hits you and it is a critical threat. You must roll to confirm the critical hit. "Right, because innocent travelers attack people they come across on the road," the man bites back mimicking Machera's statement. Red's Will 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Aðvinr's eyes bore into the man, his eyes take on the startled look of a deer and he begins to turn tale to run. Will flee on his turn. The last man moves forward, leveling his bow at Annalísa before loosing and arrow.

I still have one final left to take, but I'll do that tomorrow. Probably. Anyway, I haven't heard anything back from Mervyn so I think it's safe to say that he has backed out of the game. That's unfortunate. However, since he was more of an "extra" player than anything else, I don't feel like we need to replace him.

As Ingrid moves towards the opening, Kendra suddenly gasps and reaches out a hand to stop Ingrid from moving, "Wait!" When Ingrid looks at Kendra, there is a horrified look on the other woman's face as her eyes move back and forth rapidly for a moment. Kendra's eyes stop fluttering and she looks at her friend, maintaining contact with Ingrid she lays her other hand on the amulet around her neck. The amulet glows softly and Kendra's words are the faintest whisper as she obviously casts something on Ingrid. "OK, go now." When Ingrid begins to descend and things go wrong, she finds herself falling, but she falls as light as a feather slowly to the ground below. Diviner's Fortune, Feather Fall

You complain about the indicators, but not the fact that I forgot to remove the party icons from the last time :P Those are removed, the indicators are good enough for now. I shrunk down the party to the appropriate size as well. Assuming Ioann shoves his way to the front as per usual, everyone is now gathered back around the front entrance. Where are you going?
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Fizzlewhisk's arrow flies through the air and buries itself deeply into one of the men's abdomen. The man looks down at the arrow protruding from his guts, his hand raises to grab at the wound as blood begins to soak through his clothing. Shock is evident on his face as it drains of all color.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Oh my mistake on the taking 10 question, sorry about that. No, I'm fine with taking 10 on things. I generally just ask that it's made clear that that is what you are doing. I don't recall if you made that clear in the post or not (it's been awhile since I first read it and I can't go look at it at the moment). I'm just not sure off the top of my head what the DC's are for determining the various races, especially the more exotic ones, so as long as taking a 10 would cover it with your skill level in the appropriate knowledge category then that's perfectly fine. EDIT: That being said I think that the entire conversation of "what are you?" and identifying people's races out-loud is a bit uncouth (especially in the cases of those who would maybe rather not have their race identified in such a fashion, or who work hard to disguise those aspects of themselves) but not against the rules. I suspect it may not have made the newcomers instant friends, but we shall see how that plays out!

Syksy:
Zad shakes his head slowly, "Don't know... but I guess we're about to find out." He nods his head towards a very determined looking Jessamin as she heads directly towards the bar.
"Customer said there were some raids happening in the Rat's Market. Akasha and the others were headed that way this morning, I'm headed there to see what's going on. Coming?" She raises an inquisitive eyebrow to the both of you. Zad closes his book and stands to stretch, "Naturally. I'm sure with you charging in like a bull, it's bound to be at least a hundred times more entertaining than sitting around here. I'll let the others know we're headed out." He disappears into the back of the tavern. Silian's blade knocks a chunk of metal loose from the dog, sending it skittering across the stone floor; sparks light up the darkness. "I think we've probably got enough wood with what we salvaged from the broken cart and what was already here. We've got decent wind cover, so it shouldn't make the fire burn through the wood too fast." When Machera offers her the tunic, Annalísa eyes it for a moment before looking down at her own chest wrapped up in the blanket, "I uh... I don't think that will work well. I'm afraid I might rip it or something, and before this is over you'll need the extra layers more than I do, even right now." Poor skinny elf, no padding to keep her warm. Straight as a board, and nearly as flat. Those hips, barely a curve at all... how do they even manage to carry babies let alone feed them? Still, she knows what she's doing I'll give her that. The woman has definitely seen battle, good to have at my side. She's cute, too... in a mousy sort of way.

Her skin has blanched from the cold, indicating to Aðvinr that her blood has pulled out of her extremities and moved to the warmth of her inner core, keeping her vitals alive. Her lips and eyelids have taken on a slightly blue color, but her fingertips, toes, and nose show no blackening of frostbite just yet. She'll need many hours in front of the fire before she will be fit to travel again. Aðvinr is able to set up a fairly secure camp, protected from the elements and in such a way that it will be easy to watch for enemies. He isn't able to glean any helpful information about Fizzlewhisk's condition, perhaps it is due to not being as familiar with gnomes, or perhaps it is that the smaller man is mostly hidden beneath his clothes... of course it isn't the woman taking her clothes off a few feet away. :P
Female Human (Ulfen) Barbarian/1
Annalísa chuckles at Aðvinr's banter, grateful for the distraction. Once under cover, she wastes no time heeding the shaman's words first handing him back his fur that he draped over her and then beginning to strip, "Modesty, especially in these circumstances, is for little girls and proper ladies. I am neither."
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Everyone is able to make the climb up onto the roof without problem. Once up there you see that Garotte was correct, it should be easy enough to lower yourselves down into the building through the opening though it is probably best to move slowly in case of any loose stones waiting to give way under your feet. The opening looks into complete darkness, there is no telling what awaits you. Syksy: Jess shrugs, "You can help me keep people in line I suppose. Or you could help Zad run things over there since he spends most of his time reading and ignoring patrons."
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
I think Ingrid was joking with you, Ioann! :D Jominda smiles and extends her hand to Ingrid, "The pleasure is mine," and then as Ioann rushes off towards the town hall she says, "Oh... something I said?" There are a lot of people still inside and around the town hall cleaning the place out.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Silian is able to recognize the smell and taste as soon as the liquid hits his tongue and the warm, fuzzy feeling washes over him. Cure light wounds potion, enough for three doses. And then he falls over dead. I kid, I kid. No worries, Syksy. Not really holding anyone up since the party is separate from you right now anyway ;)
Syksy: A faint smile tugs at the corners of Zad's mouth, "Shall we?" He extends his hand indicating the door.
Boss Lady Dragon of the Early Evening
Syksy: After a few minutes, the woman has gathered everything she needs and begins wrapping some thing up, from across the table you can tell that she is putting dragonshards into a bag, and a root of some sort into another. In a mortar she combines a few things and uses the pestle to grind them into a fine powder before placing the powder in a vial. You can hear her quietly talking to herself all the while, though you can't make out much other than the words lost, coming, done, and rain.
When she is done, she hands you the wrapped bundle. She reaches a hand out and a ledger and quill rise into the air from a counter nearby. She quickly writes something in it before handing it to you, "Sign here, please." "She is the one, but will not have what you are looking for."
