When 1st Steps Part II was legal, I created custom invitations with the Lantern Lodge Symbol on the outside from the media package and Amara Li picture on the inside with the letter from the scenario. I would request the adventurers name in advance if I could and filled them in the Greetings line.

For Master of the Fallen Fortress, I had one session with two players who brought characters with 1 or 2 xp and had adventurer previously together. I created letters from their Venture Captains with instructions to pull together new recruits (the other players at the table who all brought brand new characters). I allowed those two players to set up the adventure.

Both groups enjoyed the extra touch. Wish I had more time to do things like that.

So because the same rule that has been in place is being tweaked now to make it easier, it causes a rant now and not anytime in the past five years? Ok.....

My apologies. You guys are doing a wonderful job creating as balanced an environment for organized play as can possible be made. I should have deleted it before I posted it. Despite a great morning workout, I let tiredness rather than compasion win out. My fault entirely for ranting.

As much praise as you all at paizo deserve for the wonderful game we all enjoy playing, I want to thank the players I have gamed with who have done well in playing in the spirit of the rules as much as the letter of the rules.

Everyone keep having fun and good gaming!

Looks like there is a little side benefit to running We Be Goblins, Too on Free RPG day, or at least reporting it the same day. I got credited for 2 GM sessions, with a note confirming it! Thanks!

We only had 3 come out at Alternate Worlds in Cockeysville, MD, but we had a fun time. I made a song up for the Bird Cruncher Tribe that the sung after Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh announced the Chieftain's Mote!

Tribe Sings:

Chieftain's Moot! Chieftain Moot! We get a new Chief!
Roast the Partridge, Smoke the Turkey, ...

Lone goblin shouts out:

Hey, where's the Beef?

Nearby Birdcrunchers commence to pummeling the recalcitrant goblin!

Keep up the great work guys! You've done wonders for the game in the area and I know with you two, no matter where you live, it will only get better!

The lesser & greater host devils from Princes of Darkness: Book of the Damned, Vol. 1 have the special abilites of Superior & Master Grappler, respectively.

Superior Grappler (Ex) A gaav can wield a weapon and still make grapple checks. If it’s not wielding a weapon, a gaav gains a +4 bonus on grapple checks. Each gaav can lift up to 50 pounds and still fly without being impeded.

Master Grappler (Ex) A magaav can wield a weapon and still make grapple checks. If it’s not wielding a weapon, a magaav gains a
+4 bonus on grapple checks.

While this seems to give them the ability to attack with their weapon and make a grapple attack as part of a full attack action, they still make themselves vulnerable to an attack of opportunity when the grapple, correct?

That seems right to me, but it just seems silly to give them that power without the benefit of the Improved Grappler feat.

Might I suggest a Pathfinder Chronicles Lite subscription? A subscription that has all the Pathfinder Chronicles products, minus the card decks? The gamemaster cards do look cool, but I don't think I will be using them. I still want to enjoy all the flavorful goodness of the other products and would happily subscribe for them.

Just a suggestion.
