About The Witchbrand

Background:

Spoiler:
Haelyn Gravink was a bright boy, full of energy and contentedness. Nobody ever thought he could possibly be a caliban.
Until the priest came to the door. He took away Haelyn's younger brother, who was showing sorcerous power.
Haelyn watched his brother be burned at the stake.
After that, Haelyn resolved to spare others that grim fate. He began protecting those that were threatened by the priest, taking them into hiding, bringing them to places where they were safe. One day, he left his town to help others, in larger cities.
One day, in the woods, he felt a tug in his mind. Suddenly, he was surrounded by Vistani. He was trespassing.
He was taken prisoner. A few days later, though, he felt the tug in his mind again. He realized that he was being called. He rose, and the chains fell off his arms and legs. He was free. He did not flee, though, but went to the Vistani leader. He spoke in a language that he did not remember being taught. The Vistani, however, did not seem surprised. They sent him back, and Haelyn was different. He found a white snake, who he named 'Haelyn'. For that was no longer his name. Folk called him 'the Witchbrand'.
So he was named.
He has recently met up with a half-elf calling himself Grimnebulin. The Witchbrand took a liking to the man, and they have been traveling together for a while now.

Appearance and Personality:

Spoiler:
Witchbrand is an odd man. He is very loyal to his friends, but he has few of these. His white hair and dark skin, along with his pale eyes, make him look rather disturbing.
