About The Thundering Spirit

Speaking out against the Jade Regent is either the best or the stupidest thing Raijan has ever done, probably both. It definitely wasn't the only thing that got his family killed or scattered, but it was the straw that broke the camel's back. He couldn't stay in Kasai as a Kaminari, but he could seek vengeance as a Spirit.

In time, he was forced to flee, and he has since resumed using his name, even joining the Pathfinders in his own right, fighting to tear down the tyranny he finds in his new home, but he dreams one day of returning to Minkai...

Social Grace x2: Kaminari Raijan gains a +4 circumstance bonus on Bluff & Diplomacy rolls.

Lethal Grace: The Thundering Spirit combines strength and speed into incredibly deadly attacks. He gains Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat. When using Weapon Finesse to make a melee attack using his Dexterity bonus on attack rolls and his Strength bonus on damage rolls, he also adds half his vigilante level on damage rolls. (3)

Unshakable: The Thundering Spirit adds his class level to the DC of any attempts to intimidate him (+6).

Renown: The Thundering Spirit is known for his deeds and his abilites within the Narrows district of Korvosa, and gains a +4 circumstance bonus on intimidate checks in that area.

Prestige and Boons::
Prestige 23/28
Boons:
Freedom Fighter: The Thundering Spirit gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and weapon damage rolls against known slavers.

Orator: The Thundering Spirit is skilled at inspiring people, particularly when he opposes tyranny. Once per adventure before rolling a skill check to convince an NPC to cooperate with him, he can add a bonus to his check equal to 1+1/2 the number of goals completed (+3). Double this bonus if the check involves convincing the NPC to participate in an uprising.

Bond Breaker: Once per adventure, The Thundering Spirit may perform one of two liberating acts. He may cast shatter as a spell-like ability with a DC of 12+1/2 the goals he has completed (DC 16). Alternatively he may deal an additional 1d10 points of damage on his next attack against a creature or object with hardness.

Liberator: When The Thundering Spirit or any of his allies rerolls a check to escape a grapple, an Escape Artist check, a Will save against a compulsion effect, or a Reflex save to avoid being entangled, staggered, or paralyzed, that character may roll two dice and use the better result. Once per adventure, he can grant a free reroll to a PC who is attempting one of these checks.

Draconic Sidekick: The Thundering Spirit returned several stolen pseudodragon eggs to their clutch. Now, the pseudodragons of the Frisky Unicorn have selected him as the traveling companion and mentor for one of their hatchlings. The young pseudodragon has not yet chosen her name, and she allows you to help her decide. As long as you do not mistreat your new ally and your alignment does not become evil at any time, she agrees to travel with you.
I may cross this boon of my chronicle sheet to gain a pseudodragon that follows him loyally for one adventure. Her sting also bypasses DR/silver. This pseudodragon allows me to bypass the normal limit of one combat creature per player per scenario.

Fortune’s Return: Despite the ill omens of the Yellow Prophet, The Thundering Spirit saved Lady Qualstair from assassination and prevented unfortunate accidents from carrying deadly consequences. He has gained
four of the six abilities below.
He may activate an ability by checking off the box next to it. Doing so grants him a +1 luck bonus on an attack roll, saving throw, skill check, or ability check associated with the corresponding ability score. Apply the bonus before rolling. The bonus increases to +2 if he uses it for
the specific use listed below.
The Suit of Hammers (Strength): Sundering or otherwise breaking an object
The Suit of Keys (Dexterity): Picking a lock
The Suit of Shields (Constitution): Fortitude saves or Constitution checks against fatigue or exhaustion
The Suit of Books (Intelligence): Performing research
The Suit of Stars (Wisdom): Avoiding getting lost or otherwise navigating
The Suit of Crowns (Charisma): Speaking to a person in a position of authority

Corruption Uncovered: Honoring the request of Major Colson Maldris, The Thundering Spirit sought out and uncovered corruption in Andoran. Discovering such immorality in the fledgling democracy has taught him to be increasingly suspicious, and once per scenario before making a Sense Motive check, he may add a +2 bonus to the check.

Building Friendship: The Thundering Spirit has done a favor for Lady Silviana in Absalom, and she is willing to repay the favor. If he would earn no Prestige Points at the end of an adventure that included one or more encounters in Absalom, I can cross this boon off to earn 1 Prestige Point instead.

Liberty Never Rests: Quick thinking and quicker action are necessary elements of heroism, and The Thundering Spirit is prepared to act promptly to defend others. I can cross this boon off before rolling initiative to roll twice and take the better result.

Gift of the Ghaele: Sulianna the Luminescent, an azata whom The Thundering Spirit rescued, owes him a debt and has granted him a fraction of her power. He may use one of the following as a spell-like ability once, using his character level as his caster level:
Aid, Detect Thoughts, Lesser Restoration, See Invisibility.

Caravan: Kaminari Raijan owns a controlling share in a caravan that makes regular trips through the Inner Sea region. He isn't required to maintain a presence in the caravan, and thus does not need to accompany the caravan as it makes its journeys, but he does shoulder some of the responsibility of ownership. For the most part, this means handling things like representing the caravan's interests to important merchants, politicians, and aristocrats.

Raijan represents the caravan as an upstanding citizen and above-the-board merchant; he can use Diplomacy to make Day Job rolls.

The Chelish Embassy of Absalom has recognized The Thundering Spirit for his outstanding service to the Empire. He has been granted one free use of the divination spell from a Cleric of Asmodeus. He can only use this boon in Egorian, Cheliax’s diabolical capital city.

The Andoren Embassy of Absalom regards The Thundering Spirit as an upstanding free citizen of the Republic.

Five Storms's Ruin: When The Thundering Spirit defeated the oni Kikonu, it was only the beginning. The visions of the Five Storms's wickedness shown to him by the Amatatsu Seal filled him with righteous fury. Once per day as a free action, he may channel this fury to gain a +1 morale bonus on attack and damage rolls against targets with the oni subtype and a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities from oni sources. These bonuses last for 1 minute.

Mercy's Blessing: The Thundering Spirit survived the transformative power of Verdant Spark, and he now has a measure of protection against other conditions that would attempt to harm his body. He may once reroll a saving throw against a poison or disease and take the better result.

Nira's Gratitude: Thanks to his assistance in solving Mercy's mysteries, Nira has slowly started to regain her sense of self and memories as Amenira. After receiving some repairs at the Grand Lodge, she is eager to continue to learn and explore alongside people who helped her. Raijan can coax her to remember some of her former abilities at great effort. Once, after he rolls a Knowledge, Perception, or Sense Motive check but before the results are revealed, he can roll a second time using Nira's bonus instead (6+his character level), representing Nira's insights.

Duskwarden’s Favor: Raijan's actions below Kaer Maga have impressed the Duskwardens, and these guides taught him some of their tricks for safely navigating dangerous caverns. He can use up this boon to gain the ranger favored terrain ability (+2) in underground environments for the remainder of the scenario.

Suishen's Wisdom: The Guardian Blade of the Amatatsu respects Raijan's dedication to restoring that Imperial family to power. He has schooled Raijan in courtly matters, granting him a +2 bonus on Diplomacy checks when dealing with members of royalty or nobility. In addition, Raijan may reroll such a check once per day, making the second roll before he knows the results of the first roll and taking the result of the reroll even if it is worse.

Savior of the Tapestry (2/2): The Thundering Spirit has averted the imminent collapse of the Hao Jin Tapestry, saving the lives of everyone who calls the demiplane home. An Aspiring Warrior from the Muckmouth Lizardfolk has decided to join the Pathfinder Society. She's determined to someday best The Thundering Spirit in combat, but for now, she's happy to share a few of her tricks. The Thundering Spirit can spend 2PP to learn Draconic and may twice call upon her aid to use her modifiers for Acrobatcis or Swim (+11*), or to add +1d6 on all his damage rolls for one round.

Radiant Ruby Feathers (2/2): The Thundering Spirit's repair efforts were so successful that the phoenix guardians had extra magical energy left over, which they have gifted back to him in the form of a pair of feathers imbued with sparks of Hao Jin's power. Twice as a standard action The Thundering Spirit may use the following* Spell Like Abilities at CL=Char Level:
Burning Hands, Cure Serious Wounds, Lesser Restoration, Fireball, Scorching Ray.
