Out of game discussion for Average Schmoes

This is the thread that the pbp will take place in.

On the corner of the busy city street a crier calls out,
"Listen Everyone!
Are you tired of your mundane lives?
Tired of scratching out a living here in this city?
Do you want to see new and exciting places?
Do you hunger for adventure and danger?
Then the Order of the Broken Spear is looking for you!
The Order is looking for people to serve on their sailing vessel as they explore the Isles of the Lost.
The Order needs people that can handle themselves in a fight.
They need people that can help those that are injuried or sick.
They need people with experience handling a ship in dangerous waters.
Don't have any training? Don't worry, you can learn while you scrub the decks.
Here is your opportunity to go out and see lands no one has ever explored before.
To see beauties and beasts undreamed of.
So if you want to live of life of high adventure, go to the Albino Orca down at the docks and apply.
They will be looking for workers for the next several days,
but don't wait too long, you might miss your chance at a life of destiny."
==================

Applications initially taken until: 5/24/11 at 11:59 PM Eastern
Set-Up: The Order of the Broken Spear, a heroic group of adventurers, is about to set sail for the uncharted lands of the Isles of the Lost. This promises to be an exciting adventure, but they need a ship and a crew to aid them. The Order has thus hired the Albino Orca, a ship captained by a half-elf by the name of Sander Two-Edged. A fair portion of the Albino's crew has left the ship, fearing to go into the Isles of the Lost, a dangerous region of the seas that is believed to be haunted and worse. Thus Captain Two-Edged has decided to recruit some replacement workers from the local (and probably naive) people. And this is where you come in. You're just an average shmoe looking to get some excitement, and this is your chance. But don't worry, you won't be taking on the evil Necromancers, that is the job of the Order. You will instead have to deal with clean up, perhaps fight off a few wandering zombies and such. It is not a noble calling, but hey, somebody has to do it.

Thread for the Lords of Sin PBP.

The Lord-Mayor Grobaras of Magnimar has ordered that a group of Warders be stationed at the village of Sandpoint to the North. Prior to arriving there, they are to go North-East to the village of Kirsvald to see if there are any problems. Lately trade through that valley has been spotty and strange rumors of unrest having been heard. The Lord-Mayor is worried and would like you to look in on it.

As Warders you are given authority to investigate and act, using whatever means are necessary, to safe guard the nation of Magnimar. Where possible you should work with the local authorities as long as they are acting in the interests of Magnimar.
