Hey, just read about the opening and I'd love to give it a shot. Looks like we need another front-runner to stand with the Paladin so I may go barbarian or melee fighter. I have a few other character concepts bouncing around in my head but they depend on what resources are available. Are we doing Core Only?

Nope, play what you want from whatever 3.5 source book you want (just make sure you actually know the rules for it).

Sorry to be to have to say this but I think I'm going to have to bail, between college, Rugby, work and the PbP I am already in, plus the Game I play with my buds I just cant see this working out and I dont want to mess it up for every one. Thanks for giving me a chance but I have to step down.

Maybe Next time,
Haun

No problem, have fun.

If anyone sees TGZ101, let him know we have an opening if he's interested.

I think everyone else has their character ready to go, so I'll try to get things started tonight when I get home.

What will be doing about rolls and such, should we leave them to you or use some public roller? As far as I know Paizo doesn't have one.

I think the most common one used by people on this site is:

invisible castle

You can do rolls without signing up (that is what I've been doing), but you can also sign up and have them saved for longer.

As for if I should roll or the players, ideally both. I'll probably want to roll some things like spot and listen just because it will be faster than waiting for everyone to post their rolls (which means you should have these skills on your profile so I can find it quickly), but most of the things I believe the player should roll for (that way I can't be blamed for a bad roll).

So far what it looks like is:
Orion Arygius (Michael D Moore) – Paladin
Haun – Bard
Zareth Edemont (Davi The Eccentric) – wizard
Alexander Auldron – ranged fighter
Luathoria Ithellii – cleric
Ray Domma-du-Domma-da – rogue

TGZ101, I think I want to cap it at 6 players. Mainly because more than that can really bog down play. But if anyone changes their mind and drops out, you're next on the list if you want.

As for everyone else, as soon as you have your character ready let me know, and we can start playing. The play by post thread is here:
Warders of Kassel pbp

I'm not going to bother making a discussion thread for this game, if you have something out of game to say, just use the [ooc] tag or put it behind a [spoiler]. I've found it annoying to have to juggle between two or three threads to follow what is going on and if someone is absent for a few days or something.

Well I am a Neophyte/Newbie pbp DM (though I have been DMing in the "real world" for a number of years), so I've got no problem with others in a similar situation.

So far it looks like we might have a paladin, bard, ranged fighter, and ...

I'm new to pbp, and if I can join this as well as the other one I will, if you'll have me?

Sure, any idea of the type of character you might choose?

Newbs and paladins shouldn't be a problem. I will say this about paladins, I always play that paladins can work with people of various outlooks, including evil, as long as they are not actively doing deeds that are offensive to the paladin. I believe in the old idea of the enemy of my enemy is my ally.

Still looking for people to fill the ranks.

Thread for game play for the Warders of Kassel pbp.

The Kingdom of Kassel by order of his highness King Joshua, third of the name, has again opened the ranks of the Warders. The Warders is an elite arm of Kassel’s armed forces responsible for dealing with unusual and dangerous situations. Only individuals of great ability or potential will be considered for membership. The Warders need individuals with knowledge of the ways of magic as well as individuals with knowledge of the ways of war. See your local recruiting official if interested.
