OK... just let me know if you're friend can get it via the atomicarray.com or Itunes. If not, I'll halve and send it. Flash said he burned CDs onto disk, so when we go over CD capacity I always cringe and picture him there in Australia saying, "Great. Just great." ;) The sound editing program I use takes as much time to "bounce" (export to disk) as it does to play. So It takes me 50 minutes a piece to bounce two seperate 50 minute tracks. Now because I tend to mix each episode RIGHT BEFORE it's due (we usually keep to a no-wiggle room schedule)I have no time to create second versions... just the full episode. But that said, with a few extra days I'm happy to halve any show and send it out upon request. In answer to your thought, DVDs don't play in CD players. The Eldritch Mr. Shiny wrote:
Oh yes please. Snorter wrote: Just listened to the show today; I was going to put it on CD for a friend who's looking for writing tips, but it's too long to fit on an audio CD. Is there a chance of seeing a 2-parter version? Send me your email addy on FB and when I get home from Iron GM in LA I'll rebounce the episode in two pieces for you. I'm in Arizona now (Thousands of miles from home). I can probably hit that on Wednesday. The Eldritch Mr. Shiny wrote:
Color me curious and grateful for the offer. I'd like to see what you have. Will do! :) Thanks for asking. RPG author Ben McFarland (Terraleon on Paizo) did the voice of the show's host and I did all the other voices. The last thing I did for Terra/Sol is a free product on RPGnow and stars me, Ed, Tim Hitchcock, Lou Agresta, MM Devoe and Susana Mensah. It was fun... though when I received the note that said (I also need a 30 second clip of the sound of a rising stone pedestal within an ancient temple" for the publisher's spacefaring game, I was worried. No problem... just lined up some cinder blocks on the ground and recorded myself dragging another cinder block over them. Then I slowed the speed and lowered the pitch and voila... rising pedestal. Last year or the year before I did a series of short radio plays to accompany certain Twilight Sector adventures for Terra/Sol games. I recently did a 12 minute audio scene for them - kind of a Johnny Carson in the future sorta thang - that I thought came out quite nicely. Still waiting for its release. Kruelaid wrote:
Thanks, guys. I wanted to wait for the Paizo blog to talk about this episode but this show released on Saturday morning and I've got to say something before I hop a plane to the next Iron GM Regional Semi-Final or this episode will be the tree that falls in the forest that no one hears (which is clearly a ninja treant with an unusually low Dex). Very kind, CH. Thanks! :) I'll twitter that line (A good place to store your one-liners if you're a one liner sort of person). Plus sized models make women fat, but only if women eat them. This oh so valid and time worthy study (somehow hinging "scientifically" on the word "may") has a devious agenda to fraudently prove its thesis only after first changing the effect by observing it. Follow... They said more people would want to gain weight if they witnessed the oh so glamorous plus sized model, but that was never actually true. Who gives a fig about plus sized models? But by telling us that these gals are secretly killing us they just made them dangerous! I'm hearing Bad to the Bone playing! I'm seeing leather jackets. Oooo, I WANNA BE A COOL PLUS SIZED BADASS TOO! This so-called study was clearly a clinic in mind control. Ambrosia Slaad wrote:

Was Origins the first one? I don't recall options to hump on Allistair... but then I guess there's this point early on in the game where you choose your available paths. The first time I played through as an elf mage, I didn't even get the chance to impress Lel, or anyone but the witch... But then my PS3 died and I played through again as a human noble. The entire world was suddenly so nice to me and da wominz be throwin' deyselves. Altogether different social experience. As a game completionist, my secret bane, I had to discover if you could have Leliana and then move over to bed the witch. Alas, Lel knows and is hurt, and you have to make a choice between them. No matter what you say or who you choose you lose a lot of favor points. The witch doesn't care that you'd playing the field, but then that's what you'd expect from that character. So my guess is that if you opened up a path to get wiff both Lel and Allistair, based on their personalities, you'd be looking to severely dissappoint two sensitive personalities and reap a speech about lowered expectations that might actually hurt your feelings if you have any kind of history of romantic shenanigans. As Lel read me off it was like reliving my 22nd year. The game let me try on an old behavior and then remind me why it didn't work. Ouch! Ambrosia Slaad wrote:

I'll ask. I believe the Citadel of Pain adventure is four to six weeks away and the adventure anthology penned by those RPG All-Stars will release some time before Gen Con, but that's all I know at the moment. As soon as I hear of any release dates, I'll check back and post it.

Encumbrance Rules... pfft. The eternal limiter of how much fun you're allowed to carry at one time. What?! Atomic Array 55 is a double length episode?! Why would we do that?! Because we needed to hear what Monte Cook, Ed Greenwood, Steven E. Schend, Brian Cortijo and mapmaker Christopher West had to say about their coming PF compatible adventure anthology, and what I had to say about my huge PF compatible adventure (coauthored with by Lou Agresta), Citadel of Pain. Gaming Paper’s Erik Bauer, along with West, Cook, Greenwood, Schend and Cortijo join Ed Healy and I on Episode 55 of the Atomic Array podcast to preview this new line of Gaming Paper Adventures, a first foray into publishing from the company that won two silver ENnies in 2010 for “Best Miniatures Product” and “Best Aid or Accessory.” At show’s end, listen in as I punk each of these legends of gaming. Methinks I’ll never work in this town again… which is actually great timing because I couldn’t afford the taxes anyway. Enter our contest to win one of two copies of the Citadel of Pain adventure. I coauthored it and it is simply magnificent. I really can't say enough good things about it. Ed’s Pick: Cube
