"This looks like the central worship chamber." Says the Deceiver as he goes about following the perimeter of the chamber.

"Bohdan, care to speculate what a follower of Iomadae would be doing in a temple of Aroden."

"Sure, Bohdan." The Deceiver helps in the lifting.

After that.

"What you suggest about charms is possible."

Pharasma wrote:

AS Ryor points out his own observations you notice that one of the topmost male bodies wears plate mail armor bearing the symbols of Iomedae, and on it's back a jeweled scabbard of a claymore or greatsword. Where the matching sword is you are not certain.

"Bohdan, you might want to look at these."

The Deceiver examines both the bodies and the statue of Aroden.

Perception (1d20+7=18)

The Deceiver takes comfort from familiar smell of death.

Am I there yet?

What you want done? Climb Check?

Will be out of the office for sometime. Catch up later.

Hey, man, it's getting dark. Smart-ass.

Suffering from sleep deprivation.

And I was about to go to sleep....

Perception (1d20+7=17)

Ok gotta take some Zs. Be back in 8 hours.

"This Calebra must be a terrific climber to say the least."

"If Calebra is out then its lair should be fair game."

Casts cure light wounds on Jon; i'll leave the rolling 1d8+1 to Jon.

The Deceiver draws his sword. He points out to the others the tracks.

Perception (1d20+7=24)

The Deceiver scans the area for anything of interest.

A MANly strike, would you agree, Kruelaid? To an orc, half-blooded though he may be that may be considered as insulting.

Eeewww!

The Deceiver draws his rapier and jabs it at the wasp.

Attack and Damage (1d20+3=16, 1d6+1=7)

The Deceiver climbs up the rope, hoping that he reaches his destination before he is attacked.

Takes 10 for a total of 18

Can I take ten on that? I am not yet under attack. If the Deceiver is under attack before his turn then he commits to full defense while hanging of the rope. Imagine Jacky Chan.

Alpha 2 is up

Can you post a link? Can't find it. Thanks.

Would it be possible to climb up to H15?

Four Bhuka are with you: Wetsands, Scorpion, Sandwhisper, and Palmseed. It'a all up above.

Saw that! Just wanted to use the "Oh My Goddess!" expression.

Oh my goddess! There's two of them!

Wetsands wrote:
"Well. We too fast die. Calebra see we dead. Big problem. We pray Pharasma now."

As he climbs down, the Deceiver silently prays:

"What is the terror of death?
That we die our work incomplete.
What is the joy of life?
To die knowing our task is done."

Taking 10 on my climb check for a total of 18

We'd be saying that too once we've gone through our supply of pork.

Bad Dog!

The Deceiver observes everyone.

Watch "Lucky Number Slevin" starring Bruce Willis and Josh Hartnett. They are world class assassins. The name Josh used in that movie is Slevin Calebra.

Calebra is bad dog in Yiddish, yes?

The Deceiver prays for new spells at midnight.

"Ryor, though the Bhuka's trust us and I do not suspect any treachery... I prefer that we also post guards. What do you think?"

For Pharasma

Spoiler:
The temple allows the use of perspective altering substances. That is a yes.

"Wetsands, excuse me. But I'd like to check on the perimeter of the oasis. You can never be too careful."

"Wetsand's language, good, yes."

What does this Aref fellow want with a temple of Aroden?

The Deceiver tells the tale of the group's journey. "Our people travelled long and far aboard a ship which allowed us to move swiftly across the great ocean. But some of our number were wicked and committed great sins which angered the gods. The gods' sank the ship but they were merciful nevertheless and delivered the innocent onto this land. But the gods deemed it important that the innocents learn their lessons. Hence, this trial beneath the anvil of the sun. The discovery of this oasis is a sign from the gods that the gods see progress in the innocents' learning."

"Pardon my briefness of the tale, our journey is not yet at an end."

Diplomacy (1d20+7=13)

I am assuming that everyone got their fill of food and water

"To peace, yes... agreed." The Deceiver stamps his foot three times.

This is a weird custom.

Sniffs the pork and the cheese. Chatters into the bushes.

He looks up at Cordoba: "Big party?"

"Just surviving."

Ryor Saar'Narlok wrote:
"We got cheese! it's all good"

Cheese and beetles... what a revolting development. The Deceiver can only sigh imagining the culinary possibilities.

Are any of the Bhukas drinking the water now?

The Deceiver continues observing the Bhukas.

For Pharasma

Spoiler:
Are the bhukas armed with steel weapons?

"Interesting."

"What sort of meat will you be cooking?"

"By the way, Eastwind, did you see any other group of bigbig pass by here in the past few days?"

Wetsands wrote:
"Bhuka make fire roundhouse. Calebra and changelings not see. Cook meat. Swim water. Agree?"

"So long as we are not the meat... agreed."

"Let the women and the children have some water."

The Deceiver nods at the bhuka. "We shall have peace."

To Syd and Bohdan: "Is he serious? He's a psycho... These bastards don't act like regular gobbos."

You're lucky there are several people between us....

Syd wrote:
"Who died an' made 'im king?" Syd mutters to Bohdan, "An' dun them lil fellars jabber a queer lingo. Make's a fellar's bonce turn? Know wot i mean?"

Per the map you're with Ryor unless you have moved further up. :D

"You have my word that no one from my group will start any bloodshed. Any who violates my oath shall die by my hand."

Moves to N12
